As far as I'm aware, they were having some issues with it. And they pulled it until they can find a solution for it.

But it's been about a year I reckon and still no word of it. So I imagine they've pulled the plug on it completely.

go into Program Files, find the Engine folder, and delete it manually

reinstall engine, then uninstall and reinstall one more time to make sure it's a clean load

So I was recently trying to make a regression model, but as always, i stumbled upon the first problem and i didnt know wut to do. Basically the data i used was from kaggle www.kaggle.com/c/house-prices-advanced-regression-techniques/overview, and i was wondering how you should go about cleaning the data. For example there were many NA in some categories, such as alley way, but they were object64 data and i can change it into categorical. Is changeing the NA to none a better idea then deleteing it, and how should i go about with the data that is numerical. Some guy online got the mean of the collumn and filled those NA spaces.

I'm looking to purchase the cross-platform wireless headphones, that can easily switch from PC to Playstation and Xbox (I own both). I've found the Steelseries Arctis 1 headset documentation. It says that there is a model of Arctis 1 with a switch between Xbox and other devices on a dongle.

But it seems that boxes of Arctis 1 without a switch and with a switch are identical. How do I know if the box I'm ordering will contain the model with a switch?

mine occasionally flickers when I plug in new devices, or open a program that does a check of connected devices. Seems normal, just a slight glitch in the OS itself. Nothing to do with the keyboard.

You know, if you're not using any Engine apps, and you have all your configurations saved as presets in your devices, you don't actually need to have SteelSeries Engine running in the background, since the devices can do everything on their own using the presets stored in their memory

The latest Engine update for macOS is corrupted. I have tried installing via the prompt in the app itself and also by downloading the installer direct from the website. For starters it is not signed properly so is getting stopped by Gatekeeper. But even when I override it by right click opening the installer it runs through the installation and then gives the following error. "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance" I am running macOS 11.1 on an iMac Pro.

Also it has done something to the current installation so now none of my hardware shows up in the Engine app, my custom animations no longer run and it gives me the following error in the app. "Warning. SteelSeries Engine 3 was launched with incorrect parameters. Please make sure you are launching the software using the main app, rather than launching the client process directly from inside the application package."

Hi, i got my Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless today and i want to change the color, i made a new profile and set the color for all 3 Zones to blue and hit SAVE but nothing changes. Have the lastest Updates, Firmware updated, currently on the 2,4 GHz mode, but the mouse doesnt Apply any color changes.

For example, if I'm playing a game and I shoot or something, there might be a slight delay. Is this normal? Sometimes in games I have to use chat audio because of the delay, which is annoying because game sounds better...

headphones will "pop" when you plug them in and while a computer is restarting because the driver chips are turning on and off. when plugged in and the computer is on, your headphones are actually powered even when no sound is playing, if you turn the volume waaaaayyyyy up you can actually hear slight static from the drivers, this is their "Standby" state.

the problem is that your PC uses Realtek audio chips, which means they require Realtek drivers to function properly. the only way around that is to get an alternative chipset.

When I set my systems default device under playback to the 'Arctis Pro Wireless Game' I have no sound. I can't listen to Spotify, YouTube and games have no audio.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers, rebooting and letting them install manually
Disconnected the whole unit, reconnected it into different USB ports on the motherboard
I've played around with the chatmix and left it at 50-50 and still nothing. but no luck on any of these

When I have the 'Arctis Pro Wireless Chat' as my default communications device, and it works fine with Discord etc.

If I set the default device to 'Arctis Pro Wireless Chat' sound works as expected, its only when I switch to 'Game' I have no audio.

you need to use the hands free output when using the mic to hear anything

there should be 2 audio outputs

When you updated the mouse and dongle did you have them both plugged in at the same time?

nope

there's only 1 usb-c cable in the box

and on the screen it said "connect mouse to update" then afterwards it said "connect dongle to update"

so i've now got both in their own usb c cable

but nothing happens in the software

this is what it says when i've removed the cable from the mouse

and turned on 2.4

and the dongle is in it's own cable

Do you have another mouse at all kicking about somewhere? Might be worth unplugging the mouse itself and leaving the dongle in or swapping over to see if you have an update pop up

Other than that, do you have the latest engine installed?

i've plugged my rival 600 into the pc, when i've unplugged the aerox mouse. I've tried plugging and unplugging a few times,turning mouse on and off a few times, run as admin, but for some reason the update wont pop u

when the dongle is in, it says this in the "about" section

when the dongle is unplugged it says this

well when i do those steps, nothing happens

the only thing that pops up is "reconnect mouse"

no update

i reset the mouse, an update came up, completed it, and it now says this

i has to make this work

instantly said complete

still doesn't work

when i try plugging the cable in the dongle and using it as wireless, it says "reconnect mouse" again

Hey guys so I have a rival 650 and I'm trying to use it wirelessly but it's stuck in update mode flashing red but every time I try to update it it says "update complete" but the update doesn't actually download and the mouse refuses to work, I've tried updating through cable and deleting and re-installing the steel series engine but no luck, Anyone know the solution?

well in my experience, i've never had any problems with wireless things, but the aerox 3 has does. Not only that, whilst searching for a fix, i found that there's a lot of their wireless products, that has wireless problems (headsets and other mice).

not that steelseries makes shit products, quite the opposite, i'm in love with the brand and the stuff they make, just not the wireless field
