My main concern is that where the 2 key wide left shift is on the us cable, that's actually 2 buttons on a UK keyboard

Nah the uk keycaps will be fine, Just make sure when installing steelseries engine you choose uk for the keyboard, I use a us layout apex pro with uk selected as my language, I just got use to where the keys are, give it a couple weeks and you'll be fine (:

hey im having a bit of a problem with my apex pro

ive had it for about a year, but recently, it has been acting up

several of the keys are offcolored, without me actually configuring anything in the engine

my alt key, c key, and left arrow key are all a greenish yellow, compared to the rest of my keyboard which is all blue

#

even the engine shows that the entire thing is all blue, so I know it must be a problem rather than a stupid missclick

Hey, so I just copped the Arctus 5, but I'm strugging to setup the game/chat dialog thingy. I added all my games on the Steelseries Engine and followed a steelseries video to set default audio devices, but when on the default Chat output, I open a game and if i turn the dialog to the left (for game setting), it mutes all audio including my game.

You have to make sure ur audio input (so ur mic) is chosen as "Arctis Pro Wireless - Chat" and audio output (the headphones themselves) has to be set to "Arctis Pro Wireless - Game"

Figured it out. For some reason my front USB port is just weird. I had to plug the DAC into one of the ports on the back of my PC and the proper devices showed up. Thanks anyway.

Anyone who has been able to get the Arctis Pro Wireless to work properly with the Xbox Series X ?

As the Series X doesn't include an optical audio port connecting directly to optical audio doesn't work
Connecting to my TV's optical audio port makes the audio all over the place, voices are muted and almost unusable
Connecting the wireless box directly to the xbox via USB does nothing

So far my best solution has been connecting the headset to my TV via Bluetooth - which requires me to go through a "connect" procedure every time I want to use (unless I happen to turn on the TV and headset within 2 minutes of eachother) - this is tedious and not really what I would expect.

So far SteelSeries Support "solution" is that they won't help in any way and that they're sorry that it doesn't work.

My Rival 3 wireless' bluetooth dongle frequently stops working. I bought another dongle from the website and it still does the same. the arctis 3 has two different audio channels, one is named "headphones" which produce a clear sound but the microphone is not enabled. then there is also a "headset" channel which lets me use the mic, but has terrible audio quality. i need to know if theres anyway to fix this, because im usually using my microphone but i cant deal with the terrible sounding audio.

Hello since a while back i have a kinda problem with my SteelSeries Arctis Pro headset.

If i choose Headphones "Steelseries Arctis Pro game" in sound settings as a default device and Headphones "Steelseries Arctis Pro Chat" as a default communication device. Then no sound at all appears, Spotify cant find any sound device, Discord the same. If i go into youtube to start a video it play the video for like 2 secound, then i get an popup that says sound rendering error, restart your PC which i did. I have also try change USB ports.

But if i use the Pro Chat as default device and for communication device all sound working fine, i have the mix mini controller you got with the headset and put it in the middle between Game and chat. I have the one without gameDAC.

If i set the Pro game as default on both as device and communication and right click on the game and then left click on "test" no sound coming at all. But i can hear the test sound if i right click on the Pro Chat and left click on "test".

I got a steelseries artics 3 console headset.

My desktop mic aux port seems to be broken. Getting a squealing noise and voice is very muffled when I connect the headset.

I tried a few fixes - cleaning, device management settings, tried another port.

Also plugged it into ipad and laptop and it worked fine on those devices.

I was wondering is their a USB connection wire available to replace the audio jack wire which will allow me to plug the headset in via a USB port rarther than a aux jack?

Shes using an arctis 5 and I brought my arctis pro with me as well but eveything we change in the engine doesn't apply to the headsets. Question on Arctis Pro Wireless: the gamesense for discord on the base unit yesterday was properly showing whoever was speaking on discord. today it seems like the speaker notification/label thing is offset, glitched out, weird visual bug. I've had my Arctis 7 headset for 1½ years, using it with my desktop computer, and it's been working flawlessly. Today, when I needed to use my microphone on Discord I realized the microphone was no longer picking up sound.

It's not a hardware problem, since it works fine when I plug it into my laptop.

I've tried removing devices manually to let it reinstall itself, and I've tried every possible button configuration on the headset. I've rebooted my headset and my computer countless times.

I've downloaded SteelSeries Engine 3, and installed the latest firmware updates

Running the windows troubleshooting does nothing, the device manager says the device is working just fine.

Plugging in the USB does nothing, and I've tried with every USB port I could find on my machine.

I've even tried shaking and yelling at it - which obviously didn't work either...

Hello everyone, I bought a black Arctis Pro Wireless around April/May for my PC and it's been a little over a month now that my headphones have been switched off randomly every 5 mins.
My software is however very up to date but I cannot find out where this random cutoff comes from. I just noticed that the headphones tended to cut less when there was sound or loud sound. If I talk to a friend on Discord with nothing in the background, the headphones cut every 2/3mins. Cannot find a similar problem on the internet...

Switching between the sound of you game and chat is the whole point of the dial

If you set the dial in the center you'll get sound from both

You could also set everything to output on game and avoid the feature that way

I don't think you can disable it. I'm sure you can find plenty of videos about the best EQ settings on YouTube. You can change the settings and EQ via settings and enable extra features

Hey, I just received a wonderful Apex Pro for Christmas! It's my first SteelSeries keyboard I've ever had and I absolutely love it so far. The only thing is that the OLED Menu Button doesn't appear to be working. It seems hard to press down and when I do, it doesn't do anything. Even if I hold it down for a few seconds. Holding it down with the scroll wheel works just fine however, as I was able to successfully reset it and that didn't fix my issue. Any ideas?

Hey, I need help with Rival 3 Wireless mice.Issue started a few days ago when i wanted to start using my mouse.After sleep time mouse lost connection to the dongle and since then its flashing purple color from led under the scroll. hey thanks so much for offering! I use Node.js and was using their REST API. The Node.js client they offer doesn't work so I needed to do it via the REST API. I figured out my problem. I was wondering why my event handling wasn't working. There's operations register_event and bind_event and I was using the first one, which wasn't working, but I needed to use the last one. I've got it working. If you're curious what I'm working on, I am getting the function keys row to flash either red or green depending on if a CI build succeeds or passes. I got it working and will share my code once I've got it cleaned up. Thank you for offering to help, I appreciate it.

I recommend wearing the headband closer to the front of your head , it will make the cups sit more evenly over your ears even if it feels uncomfortable at first

For some reason, when I try to install the new version of the software, nothing happens. I tried to update within the app, and it didn't work.

I tried to update within the Steel Series application from the notification at the top, and it says "Installation is starting, please wait" but nothing happens.

I tried to download the new version from the website, save it to disk and run from there, and it shows the UAC asking if I want to allow it to work and it's not working after that.

I tried to uninstall, and it's not allowing me to uninstall. When I check uninstall, modify is greyed out.

I disabled my A/V (Bitdefender) and it didn't work either. I know it's something about my windows setup, but I'm not sure what is interfering. I checked the Task Manager, and it shows the process stopped, and I can't restart. Is there something I'm missing in the machine otherwise that needs to be changed?

Edit, I am updating from 3.18.8, and also I went into the A/V and made the steel series exe's (all of them) exceptions to monitoring, and also went into Acronis active protection and set exceptions for it and still no luck.

Yessir. Created account. Bought product. Cancelled order 12 hours later, they shipped it out 4 days later and charged me for it. Told me I should have cancelled it within 24 hours.

Hmm. Well, it could be a number of things. One, the mail system in the US is pretty effed up right now and that could cause a delay, IDK about other countries but it seems pretty slow a lot of places. Two, the SS guys seem to have returns directed to their offices and not the warehouses for whatever reason, and since they are mostly Work from Home right now that could definitely put a wrench in the works.

I just got my arctis pro wireless headset today. Trying to set up external speakers through line out in the transmitter, this causes a lot of static through the speakers. Any help?

@buoyant pike Make sure your jack is seated correctly and the mic is muted. The Line Out includes audio from the Mic as far as I know, it's meant for people who use a secondary PC for streaming, especially if they game on console.

It's probably better to have your speakers plugged directly into your PC or console rather than the DAC anyways, as the DAC won't be making a difference for those

Arduino, specifically, I have a couple that can be recognized as USB devices and want to integrate them so I can make custom RGB things that I can sync and control with the Engine

Guys, so the audio in(mic port) on my pc died...I was wondering if I could use a 3.5mm jack to USB A or C adapter to use my Arctis 3

I literally tried the mic in port on my keyboard and it couldn't pic the headset mic, so I was wondering if that solution would work

Someone suggested apples 3.5mm jack to USB C, since my MoBo had a USB C port on the back end
