Not sure about the A5s. Sorry m8. My guess it that there would be a button behind the right earphone (you need to take it off). Should be a tiny hole that you could stick a toothpick/paper clip/something small into to reset it.

Alright then, so make sure that you have the Arctis Game set as your default playback device and the Arctis Chat set as your default communication device under your Playback Devices tab, and then the Arctis Chat set as your default recording device in Windows recording devices.

Then in any chat apps, make sure that both your input and output are set to the Arctis Chat.

Good morning everyone.

I really hope that someone here can help me, because I am starting to get really anxious now. This is a Christmas gift for my boys and we are still waiting for a response from the Steelseries Support. It has been over two weeks now. What I'm worried about is that we will not get the headset in time for Christmas.

I've created a ticket(have not updated it since I know you end up in the beginning of the queue again...) and posted on their reddit as well.

We ordered two headsets(Artics Pro and Artics 7), but only got the Artics 7. The partcel paper and email mentions that both has been shipped in one package.

What is strange is that we got a package that is only big enough for one Headset(Artics 7) and still the parcel papers mentions both of them. Pictures has been attached accordingly in the above mentioned ticket for proof.

Can someone please assist? :(

For some reason, today, my arctis 7's 2 scroll wheels have been really tough to turn, I did not have this issue yesterday. Both the buttons, but mainly the right, game / chatmix has been very tough, the sound strength less so, but still tougher than usual, anyone know an easy fix for this problem?

hey guys i was just wondering this, if you guys got like a headset warranty replacement and they gave you a coupon code does it only cover shipping? because i sent my headset in and they said they'll replace it or something but when i got the coupon code it only covered shipping and i really cant afford a new headset since the one that broke was meant to be a long term investment, and if i ask them to send back my broken headset so at least i can keep trying to use it for a bit longer do you think the support team would've thrown it out already?

Why is steel series contact only the 2" wide web forum without proper formatting and a MB cap on photos ( the dmged product i'm trying to send photos of) UGH
i responded to a dudes email for more info on MONDAY and realized TODAY my emails went no were, they never told me to return to the web page and attach photos to a hidden support query box. Overall very bad experience trying to contact steel series in a timely manner. on top of that, the submit button is too close to the add file button and i ended up sending 3 tickets because i sent it before attaching all the photos AND correcting spelling errors in their description box adds those letters to the END of the description for some reason making me start my thought over completely.

Hi! my steelseries apex 7 tkl keeps bugging out and breaking every 5-10 minutes when it just doesnt respond to any of my keys and the lights keep flashing. When i unplug it and plug it back in it fixes it for another 5-10 minutes and it does it again. I tried directly plugging it into my laptop instead of monitor, factory resetting it, deleting steelseries engine 3, and making a support ticket. Can someone help this is really annoying.

@prime jungle Using the search functionality in Windows, search for "Device Manager" , open it
Find the device in the device tree under 'human interface devices'
Right click and select "Properties".
Click "Driver" on the top toolbar and select "Uninstall'' at the bottom.
Ensure the checkbox is checked and uninstall the driver.
Unplug your device and reboot your computer.
then just plug it back in and let the driver reinstall

Is there anyone here experiencing issues with the latest steelseries engine 3 firmware update? With the lack of optical port on the Series X I was using companion app to get Xbox party chat to my stream. After the update any and all Xbox sound is extremely low while using the app and almost unplayable with my genre of games being FPS.

since the GG update yesterday my arctis 7 have had sound issues on prolonged sounds, the best way i can describe it is that, for example, in a long note in a song their voice sounds like it going up and down in pitch slightly for the duration of the note.
the issue is persistent now regardless of what version of GG is installed and installing Engine 3 instead of GG hasn't helped either, any help would be appreciated

I'm having an issue with my arctis 7 where sometimes it'll just turn off and when I turn it back on I wont hear any audio. When this glitch occurs it prevents my blue yeti from working until I unplug the headset, Another thing that happens is when this glitch occurs it completely breaks media playback. OK. You may need to restart the computer to complete the Engine installation, leave the mouse plugged in while you do that because often times the computer will selfcheck the drivers when it boots

I have a macro set to open YouTube on any browser, but all it does is type the URL for you and then hit enter

unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to open any applications with the Apex Pro macros. For some reason my Rival 650 and my SS MSI per Key keyboard have the ability to open Engine apps and that sort of thing, but the Apex Pro does not. I contacted Support about it because it's weird for them to leave it out, they said the function isn't currently supported for whatever reason.

Has anyone any problems with their Arctis Pro Wireless for the PS4 slim lately ? My headset was working flawlessly then one day it just decided not to connect to the PS4. The headset itself is fine when plugged in to pc or using the Bluetooth function. But for some reason the PlayStation isn’t detecting it. I’ve tried them in a different PlayStation and still have the same problem so I’ve ruled out it being a PS issue. Can anyone offer any advice please ?

You can’t buy the mic by itself due to it being built into the headset. So you’d probably have to get a whole new headset if it’s not working or get an external mic. You may be able to RMA the product at https://support.steelseries.com/hc/en-us if need be

For the normal Arctis 1, the value is amazing. For $50, there’s nothing like it.

For the Arctis 1 Wireless, it’s even more convenient and better value. For $100 you get full wireless on all platforms. Great sound. Great comfort. All around probably the best value headset for $100.

But considering the BlackShark goes for $60-70, I’d say you should go with the normal Arctis 1

the reason why i think this might be a software thing is because when i first got it it never did this but as soon as windows auto updated to a newer version this started to happen but when i rolled back to an earlier version it also did it

On the 3 numpad key, the R in the RGB isnt working... So if I set the RGB to that specific key solid red, it just turns black, however blues and greens work fine, but for a colour like purple I get blue because there's no red. Where can I get this repaired/replaced?

you might be doing something wrong, someone else can probably tell you what, as i don't own a steelseries keyboard. if it's just broken, you can likely get it replaced from the place that you got it from, depending on their refund policy and if you have a warranty

Recently purchased an arctis pro wireless and the oled display seems to have issues when I enabled discord integration for messages. The screen will occasionally invert vertically or becomes completely unreadable. Sometimes the screen scans too. Only fix I’ve personally found is power cycle the transmitter (or full reset if the screen is visible). Is this happening to anyone else? Any suggestions?

My Arctis 9 wireless headset keeps making an annoying buzz sound sometimes when it's connected to my phone by bluetooth. I have all latest updates installed & amplifier isn't causing it.

The buzz sound doesn't happen at all when headset only connected to my pc via wireless transmitter.

I already got new pair from finnish electric store after they and steelseries support both figured out that previous pair shouldn't have this problem but this new pair has exactly same problem. Is the whole product batch defective?

I am having a similar issue with my Apex 7 and I contacted support and they wanted to RMA the whole thing. I am outside of my warranty period so I am out of luck (unless of course someone from Steelseries would like to do me a solid and help me out on this) but that is what I would do if I were you.

For some reason, Steelseries lubes their TKL version of their Apex pro instead of their full sized keyboard... I have the Steelseries Apex Pro.

I have an arctis 7 driver stuck on an arctis 7p transmitter contacted support about a month ago and they basically sent me the wrong headset driver which screwed up my transmitter and I can't get a replacement due to them being out of stock...

trying to see if I can force a bluetooth driver onto my transmitter so when I plug it in instead of saying "Arctis 7" it says "Qualcom" then the steel series engine should pick it up as having a fault and give a repair option.

though atm whenever I plug in my transmitter my computer thinks its an Arctis 7 transmitter...

so now steel series engine just detects it as a transmitter for the wrong headset.

Hello, my Arctis 5 doesn't change colors anymore, it just stays a blue color. PrismSync works fine but I prefer using the gear settings over it because I don't want all my devices to be the same color. I've uninstalled GG and I've unplugged and re plugged back in the headset but the color still stays the same. I'm really unsure how to fix this

I dont know much about it I use the rival 600 but if it has batteries check them swap em around and maybe try restarting the mouse cause on some you can do that by holding the dpi button

so i have a rival 110 and ive been having this issue where it freezes randomly for a fraction of a second - not very long, but enough to throw me off in game

when my mouse was working i had the same problem, i connected my mouse to an extender usb so it went further away from other signals and such, and it almost completely stopped after this

I just bought the Arctis Pro Wireless today, excited as I had heard a lot of good things about them. The audio is amazing, but the mic quality is a big turn off, it sounds like I'm purposefully trying to give people permanent hearing injuries in the live mic preview and the discord mic preview. I don't know if I just expected too much, or if I'm doing something wrong. Help?

really?, i have the arctis pro = gamedac (the wired one) and the mic isnt super good but its really decent for a built in mic, no one ever said it sounds bad or anything

if anything go to the base station (the box thingy where the batteries charge) go to the settings on the base station

i think theres a little button besides the big volume button

hold it down for a few seconds untill the menu opens

find the audio tab

select it by pressing the volume button in

and scroll to the mic volume somewhere

I have just bought the Arctis 1 Wireless and have come across 2 problems.

If i plug the microphone in the headset it gives some signal that it is plugged in but when I talk it doesn't do anything.
When I wanted to download the SteelSeries Engine it downloaded perfectly fine. But when I wanted to start installing it on my pc the setup program needed permission from the pc, which i gave, but after i did that it didn't do anything. Not in task manager not in nothing.
I have already opened a support ticket but they want me to return the headphone when i think, if I can get to download the SSE I can fix the mic.
Does anyone know how to fix one of these problems?

I've had this Arctis 9x for about a year now and sometimes it will just randomly turn off. It doesn't really bother me too much but it's weird. I'll be watching netflix or something and the headset will turn off

Thanks for the help, going to pick up a stand alone mic today so thats that. But I do have one more problem. I have two EQ configs, one for gaming, one for casual use like music and show, but whenever I switch to the other one it automatically switches back after a bit.

Hello does anyone know a fix to my problem? im using the steel series rival 600 ive had it for a couple months now and just like 5 days ago it started to bug out what I mean is that after it being on a usb for like 10 mins it would dissconnect itself and I would have to move usb slots it didnt bother me much but now its all of a sudden whenever I plug it into something it says device not reconized ive tried a diffrent mouse on my laptop and it worked. A few subtle differences, the @ is in a different place on the UK one, the enter key is different, backslash is in a different place etc
