If it sounds fine through side tone then the mic itself is fine, there's just a software bug happening somewhere I think. Does boosting the volume through Discord help or turning off some of the functions like auto gain control and echo cancelation?

I have followed all of the instructions supplied all the images, serial number and I got a coupon for the RMA, but here is the problem.
The headset doesn't appear to be coming back in stock on the site! They are in stock on Amazon where I got the headset from, but because the problem with the headset started outside the return period, I cannot go through Amazon.

Well I have not seen any external prog. from SS that will flash it. I think that all the flashing is done through the engine. The transmitter is only a data conduit and will interrogate the headset. So if the headset is responding as "I am a 7" due to flashing then the engine is going to keep trying to push 7 FW

Hello. I'm coming from the astro A50 Gen 4's User & gamer. I just fixed an issue that all of us A50 Gen 4 gamers were experiencing when it came to the ps5 and it not having an optical outlet to plug our base station into. So I found the solution to fixing the problem.But with that being said. You would need an optical outlet on the tv. Before I soved this, I gave up completely and purchased the Arctis 7 for PS5.Now that I got my Astros working again, i'm not sure what to do here. My Astros are based off of Dolby Digital Signal , while it seems that the Arctis is using the proprietary Tempest 3D audio from PS5. My Question is. Does the Arctis 7 have customized presets like how my astros has. My Astros have 3 custom preset options and you can adjust them on the fly with the head set. I used Astros discord for all three presets & they are really good. But now that I have the Arctis 7. I would like to see how and if, i can upload presets to these headsets. If anyone could try to help me with this I would Greatly Appreciate it

So I have a question about the Discord App and the base Illumination. I have two major parts of the discord app setup, Personal Voice Activity and Muted. The entire 10-key is setup to turn White when I hit the Num Lock key to mute myself in Discord VC. The bottom two rows of the keyboard lights up Green when my Personal Voice Activity trigger activates. If I don't have a key mapped for the Discord App, it defaults back to the base illumination settings. The question; Is there a way to have the base illumination settings come light up when the two Discord Triggers are 'over'. That way I get to see the base illumination settings when I'm not in discord VC. Let me know if I need to explain more or clarify anything.

For a couple of days now I have been trying to capture clips in rocket league but it was only working one of the days and I have gone through the settings and made sure that everything was on.

So a few days ago I got a Rival 3 to replace my Rival 310, which would occasionally click twice on the left button and had the disgusting rubber siding.
So far it's a straight upgrade, I love it, etc, but it seems to not be able to save configs if Steelseries Engine 3 isn't open, which the 310 was able to
so I'd just open engine to edit my configs for the 310 and then close it when I was done. Now that it needs to be on 24/7, I've been experiencing freezing, sometimes it won't detect my mouse, or the animated lighting will just stop animating
and whenever I open my configs for the rival 3, this comes up, no matter what
so all in all a pretty bad experience so far

Hi, my Apex 7 has started to do this thing where its RGB lighting will flicker any time I tab out of a currently running game. It's like, it thinks I have a different config for Desktop and for Game, and everything goes black for just a second before it goes back to the normal lighting config. I don't think that's literally the issue but that's what it feels like, to describe what I'm experiencing.
This didn't start happening until around one, maybe two weeks ago. I have SteelSeries GG installed if there was maybe a recent update that would have caused this.
Again it's a flicker of my keyboard, lights going off then back on, every time I tab or click out of a running game. Does anyone know how I would troubleshoot to fix this?

I do have an issue with my Arctis 7 and Discord / Systemsounds.
As some may know, the Arctis 7 comes with an usb dongle that registers as two audio devices, Game and Chat. I set Discord to output to "chat" while all other sounds should output to "Game". As soon as I enter an voice channel in Discord all outputs going to "Game" are muted. I think this may be connected to the windows setting where I can choose one audio output as "default communication device" (not sure about the naming, my Windows is in German). I suspect Windos is thinking I got a call and tries to protect me by muting everything elso so the other person in the call won't here my Youtube running i.e.
Is there a workaround to stop this behaiviour?

Um... is there like a standard thing that happens when a mouse is dying? I've had a Rival for about a year now and it's starting to have issues with it's motion. I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, but at times it feels a bit sluggish and acts like the sensitivity suddenly goes waaay down to where I was going to snap the mouse across the screen and it barely moves, then when I look back at it it seems really sluggish for a sec, then goes back to normal
I have my sensitivity set so high that I just rest my wrist on the mouse pad and can move it across my screen with about an inch of movement, could that possibly have been the issue?

I want to stream my PS4 gameplay via OBS through my computer with my capture card (Avermedia 2 Plus) while being able to hear my game, hear my party chat and also hear my computer sounds. (youtube, discord, music, etc). Currently, I have everything setup and working with the following config:
USB and OPTICAL plugged in to the PS4 from the Arctis Pro Wireless Transmitter
AUX cable plugged in to my PC from the Arctis Pro Wireless Transmitter
Setting on Arctis Pro Transmitter set to AUX
Now that everything works and I can hear my PS4 audio, PC audio and my MIC works on PS4 for party chat..... my OBS is not recording my PS4 game audio. I'm not sure what else I need in order to get this working. The Avermedia 2 Plus is only hooked up via HDMI (HDMI in via PS4, HDMI out via Monitor) and the USB in to my PC. The 2 AUX ports in front have nothing plugged in to them. I've tried messing around with them but can't get anything to work?
Any ideas?
I've also heard using a "GameDAC" ? will do what I am trying to do also...

My Apex 5 stopped working all of a sudden on the 14th (not recognized by Windows at all, even a factory reset just makes the keyboard blink red endlessly).

It's been a day or so since I first encountered this problem. I play on PS4 (I chose the Mac option because I also have a Mac), and when I tried to change some lighting effects all of a sudden some of the keys weren't pressing. To explain it better, the keys don't press simultaneously. As I said, I encountered this problem on my PS4, but then, also on my MacBook Air. I updated my mac to its latest version, and so I did with the Steelseries software. The software recognizes my keyboard, and everything works fine.
I tried to do "reset factory", and it brings me back to a default light pattern. That is not my main problem. When doing that, the keyboard works perfectly, but it sets to a 5 actuation, which I do not like, as I'm used to playing to 10 (I have the Apex Pro since June 2020). So, when changing back the actuation from the OLED, actuation now works, but I encounter the same problem; some keys are not pressing (for example, if I move with "w" and "d", and then I spam press two other keys, they don't work). I tried changing the configuration, and everything was going great again, but with the same 5 actuation. So, when changing actuation again to 10, the same exact problem appears. I even tried to set on a preset a 10 actuation and save it like that (with lights off to not interfere with the system), but when getting on Microsoft word, or just normally typing in a search bar, I still encounter the problem (some keys do not press). Could you please help me out in some ways (as you saw it's not a PS4 problem. PS4 is updated too).
Steelseries support suggested me to do the factory reset by pressing the oled button and the wheel. I did the reset, but when I put a 10 actuation in the software, the keyboard sets it to 5. By going to the actuation settings, thru the OLED display, the 5 actuation is there, and that confirms the sensation that I have. By then putting the actuation to 10 , three the OLED, the keys feel like there is a 10 actuation, but by pressing the keys, it it still feels like there is a lower actuation. In fact, I have to press the keys harder in order to make the keyboard work. And at this point I'm not even sure if its the actuation level or some keys are broken. Is my keyboard broken? Please help me out. Thank you!

That doesn't sound like an issue with your headphones, the game audio recording would be recorded from your desktop, not the headphones themselves. It might just be an issue with the geforce thingy that you're using.

It sounds like the guy is getting mixed up with the arctis 7 and arctis 7p....
first he sent me the drivers for the arctis 7 which I uninstalled without realising till it was too late
so that basically fked up my transmitter since it now thinks its for an arctis 7 and not a 7p....
all I need is a headset driver or something to fix the transmitter not a full heahdset replacement or even just a transmitter replacement would be good enough idm
but I'll regret it if I end up getting sent an Arctis 7 headset....

I have done some research and assume it would have to be through the 3.5m wire and jack. So I’ve had my rival 710 for less than a year now and my qck prism xl for a few months, I love both however I’ve noticed the plastic threading is drying my cable in multiple areas which is annoying however because it’s frayed it now catches on my mousepad which has started to affect gameplay especially in shooters is there any solution to this problem?

I recently bought a SteelSeries Rival 600. Today, it was stolen right out of my bag during school. If the mouse is ever brought back to school, is there any way I can identify that it is mine? Is there a unique serial number or code on the bottom that is unique to only my mouse? I bought it off amazon if that makes a difference. Any help is appreciated, please** ping **me when you can assist.

I ordered an arctis pro game dac on your site and I PAID to have it delivered to me by UPS express! You sent it by standard UPS which was the free option, so no more 2 days waiting!
So I open a support ticket on 11/25 and I still have no response or contact !!!
And there I learned that my helmet will be delayed again because you did not copy my delivery details (phone number etc ...) so I must myself call UPS to resolve the problem since you, you do not answer !!! But the money you take it very quickly.
After 8 phone calls I manage to organize myself to have my helmet but I have to get it 42KM from my home or it returns to the sender !!!
Clearly I paid a full-pot helmet with full-pot delivery costs, so that in the end the delivery method is bad that no steelseries support answers me !!!
It's a shame a scandal it's called person abuse so I'm writing to you in a public way hoping that a brand manager will contact me !!!!

@old ermine your tv should have optical port. Fot the work around u can set it on ps 4 untill they update it with an extra ps5 option.

Idk of any workarounds, I never used dolby for my xbox one, I just plugged in the optical cord and used my pc for parties

Make sure your USBs are plugged fully into the headset and dial. (What I did for mine)

Anyone here with an arctis pro 7 and geforce experience having issues with geforce only recording the microphone and not the ingame sound? Im guessing this is because the headset seperates it into chat and game track, how can i fix this?

The best I can think of would be making sure that the game track is set to default for output in sound, and chat is set to default for input for the mic
Then checking settings to make sure this holds true (on geforce and sound).
