@oak basalt Yes, it worked for me. The solution was: Enable the input monitoring permissions in Security & Privacy Settings for it to work.
Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy Tab -> Input Monitoring

@summer depot The Apex 5 uses hybrid mechanical/membrane key switches while the apex 7 uses full mechanical switches. Apex 5 has some anti-ghosting but you can still run into problems with ghosting on the Apex 5 (a common one i've heard complaints about is shift+w+enter not working) apex 7 does not have any ghosting problems because it's fully mechanical

you could probably buy another keyboard that isn't the apex 5 that is fully mechanical though for the same price

So I have a question for the Apex 7 keyboard, I have my RGB running on one of the custom presets you guys have and all but some of the keys (just started happening 2 months ago) are now doing there own thing. For example I would have my home row blue but some keys would be like orange and just doing there own thing. I went into the software to maybe see if its for the individual key and I might be able to fix it but nope. Do you guys happen to know how to fix it. I've also tried to reset the software and reinstall the steelseries software but neither worked

and I tried to maybe change the backspace individual by it self to cyan but
it still stays as green no matter what
but if I change the number row to like red then the backspace becomes orange
and I don't do any of that slamming keyboard while ragging things. I really do take care of my keyboard and clean it out and take a lot of caution when people are near it

one of the keys on my Apex 7 tkl is starting to not register every time i hit it. i swapped the key cap to see if the interior guide was just getting worn out and same issue. it doesn't always register when i hit the left side of the key but works fine anywhere else on the keycap.

Yeah I'm pretty sure, also Ryzen CPUs just have a different temp reporting system than Intel. It's not an issue with the board itself or the CPU, you just gotta wait for SteelSeries to add Ryzen support in a future Engine update

I left my Rival 650 plugged in to charge overnight (Left my PC on because I was rendering a blender animation). When I come back it's off, normal, but I can't get it to work anymore. I tried using the connect button, un-plugging and re plugging the wireless adaptor, tried unplugging everything wireless including my headset from steelseries EXCEPT for the wireless mouse adaptor, then using the connecting button. It flashes blue then shuts back off. I bought this a week or two ago from the steel series website...
Now I have to use my crappy 20$ mouse I had before this.

@dapper valve It may be a god idea to check your Drivers, you may need to clear some out. I've had this happen before and fixed it by removing old drivers and old devices

@dire kraken Possible solution, check the mute button on the back of your headset that mutes you or in-game settings. You might have some form of push to talk on for your game (Never used Nintendo switch in my life)

Are just the keycaps messed up or are the actual switches damaged? If the keyboard is still under warranty you can create a support ticket through the SteelSeries website and get the issue fixed that way @keen talon

I used to use my arctis 7 all the time on my computer with the wire but about two months back I learned how to use them wirelessly. Recently the port broke so Iām trying to use the wire but itās not even detecting it. Iām seeing the name of the mic which is still the same but when I try to use it there isnāt any audio picked up. Iāve tried seeing if itās the default device and seeing if apps allowed it. I even downloaded the software from the website and it doesnāt even show up there. I know the mic isnāt broken because Iāve been using it wirelessly and with the wire on my laptop. What can I do to hopefully fix this? Thanks.
