Hi my issue is that on SSGG, it shows the two separate sources for chatmix, i can see the volume levels from both gameplay AND my friends in discord. On SSGG, it says I need to use my hardware dial to control chatmix, but when i use the dial, nothing changes. It shows that its shifting left or right, but the volume between both all stays consistent. I'm hoping I can get some assistance as I love these headphones, I just really want this to work.

Hey guys - Im using an Arctic 9x on a PC and the volume is very low although its maxed out in the Windows mixer. If I look at the Sonar tool it keeps dropping my levels down to 45%. I can put them up to 85% and it sounds great, but after a few minutes it resets back to 455>

Hey guys so I keep having troubles with my arctis nova pro wireless, on discord specifically, it either starts picking up my background noise because I haven't talked in a bit or it does not pick up the first word on my sentence , I also own a pair of the classic arctis pro wireless and this issue is just not happening at all on those ones, any ideas of what could it be? I have tried disabling discord`s noise cancellation, Sonars noise cancellation and a combination of having only either of them. Nothing, it always goes back to the same thing.

Lol, SteelSeries CS finally got back to me about my base station boot loop issue. Their advice was to uninstall and reinstall the PC drivers for it. Amazing advice, considering the entire issue is that the base station will not stay connected to my PC or other devices making it impossible to select and do anything with the drivers in Device Manager, because the device will not stay connected for me to select it.

Not to mention I had already told them that the issue was occurring with my PS5 as well as my PC, meaning it's very unlikely to be simply a PC driver issue and rather an issue with the base station's internal software or hardware.

Glad I waited a week for that. Thanks SteelSeries!

I've looked far and wide to find a fix for this issue I have with my SteelSeries Arctis 3. The mic is picking up the audio of the videos/games I play and its getting annoying changing from voice activity to push to talk everytime I want to watch/listen to something. Even using the hardware mute is not working at all.

Have the Arctis 7p+ Wireless, I'm using on PS5, and playing Apex.

IMy teammates are stating they can hear game sound via my headset. (i.e. - The sounds in which my game is producing, (my ginfire, voicelines, etc.) are being cast through my headset and creating an echo at which they can hear

On top of their game sound as well, + the normal voice chat and callouts being made in game.

I've used two pairs of 2019 wireless arctis 7s, a single pair of wireless Pros, and now i'm using a brand new pair of Arctis 1 Wireless.

No amount of tinkering solves this issue.

and it isn't an issue on ANY of my other headphones, headsets, or IEMs.

My sound card driver is up to date, I've disabled audio enhancements, mic sidetone and dynamic range compression are both turned off.

It's really disappointing that even the more expensive headsets in the lineup are plagued with this issue.

Unlike the Pro or 7 I've used, the Arctis 1 also frequently cuts out (maybe 200-500ms of nothingness)

I used to have issues with my logitechs, and it was because the power switch was a physical type. If it wasn't sitting right, one channel wouldn't engage completely. The Nova's have a soft-on switch so that doesn't happen. I don't know about the 1s

Okay guys, I got big problem to solve and I need help 😄 I am using Sonar for long time, I didnt have problem with cliping on Engine Moments but when I use Nvidia to record gameplay, my footage is recording without audio from discord. I got different output settings:
windows and game is captured on SS Sonar - Gaming
discord on SS Sonar - Chat
and Nvidia Shadowplay can only record one output device and its gaming by default, without chat
Is it possible to set both Sonar outputs on one device somehow? Thanks for any help

unfortunately I just checked and it looks like shadowplay doesn't let you select which audio device you can capture for the game. i think your options are to set discord's output to the "game" output (which would mean chatmix and any chat configs in sonar wouldn't work) or to use moments, which does have a setting to select audio devices (as well as being able to capture a third audio track, where shadowplay is limited to two)

There should be a pinhole reset button that you can stick a paper clip into underneath the left (or right. can't remember which but probably on the same side as the power button) earcup. If you still have your manual on hand it should say how long you need to push the reset for. You can probably also find an online version on the SteelSeries support website

Hi, everyone! I recently got my new Arctis 7P+ for my PS5 gaming. This is my first pair of wireless headsets, so I'm not too savvy.

The device is currently plugged into the front USB-C port with the dongle and I noticed that, from time to time, there is some crackling in the audio. It's not all the time, maybe once or twice an hour and only lasts for like 2 seconds, sometimes more noticeable than others. Sometimes, though, there is also distortion in the audio where voices sound like robots; although this is less common than the crackling, but it happens. Sound cutting out is even rarer.

Is there any way to fix this? I've already tried plugging the dongle in one of the back ports using the extender cable, but same thing happens (I just found out both are USB 3.0 ports). Would plugging it in the front 2.0 port with the extender cable work or help?

Or is this like normal expected behavior for wireless devices in general?

Hey, I've bought a SteelSeries headset called Arctis 1 Wireless. I'm using the USB-C dongle on PC with the adapter. Everything worked fine, but nowadays something works bad. Roughly after 15-20 minutes using the device start playing noises, like "the connection lost". Couple of minutes is stop when I unplug and plug for 3-4 time, but it's a period so this happen again & again. The dongle is near to my headset, so probably the problem isn't that I'm too far. I realized that it depends on what I am listening. For example: I'm playing a game and I'm on Discord too and boom the problem occurs. I'm using the SteelSeries GG software, it shows that everything is fine, the device already connected. My question is that anyone know about the issue and know the solution for this?

I've just got a Nova Pro and when I go to GG it says not connected. I've tried switching the USB output from PS5 to my laptop but it still isn't. I have also clicked the red cog which just says "hide device" and "about". Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey, after few years of using Arctis 5 i switched to Arctis 9X (PC + Bluetooth adapter), Is my product faulty and i should RMA it? Cause I feel like there is huge difference between quality of the sound between these two headsets and audio feels a little bit muffled on 9X.

My arctis wireless pro is probably one of the best headsets I have owned but the SONAR software seems to be a bit buggy.
Once a week the sonar outputs go silent, the Mixer still shows signal but nothing goes through. Using normal headset output still works meaning hardware is fine.
Re-installing sonar fixes the issue for a few days or a week.
Did anybody find another workaround than re-installing by any chance?

try using the sonar game output or normal arctis pro output maybe (havent tried that later)

When mine sounded crappy to others and I switched away from using the sonar "chat" I still had to restart to fix the sound

Of course your problem might be a different one but worth a try

Use windows recording or something for first test. if that sounds good and discord still sucks then its a software or discord issue.

Hi, i just bought an Apex pro mini wireless. The keybroad is working great but when i turn on my PC, the RGB started working (Just white light) but, 3 keys haven't the white light. They've the waving rainbow. I try an other set up, all the keys are responding execpt thoses 3 keys ("Enter", "<>" and "*µ"). Someone had the same issue ?

   confirm you have sonar mic selected for input

If you're having a hardware issue like a busted scroll wheel, the best thing to do would be creating a ticket on the official support site and seeing about getting an RMA for it. You could try factory resetting the mouse just to see if that would fix the scrolling issues, but if that fails then you should reach out to support directly: https://support.steelseries.com/

You can also try removing the drivers for the mouse and reinstalling them to see if that would work.

To do that on a Windows PC, go to the search bar and type "device manager". Open that up and click the drop down arrow next to "mice and other pointing devices", right click your mouse option and select "uninstall device". Then unplug the mouse from the PC, shut down the PC, plug the mouse back in, and turn the PC back on.

If neither of those work then definitely reach out to support and see what they can do for you

Bro I found out how to connect in the end. It was my laptop settings that I needed to change. Go to the sound settings and make sure that you have your headset selected for output and not the computer speakers.

also, for your issue, there's a bunch of settings in sonar if you use that under the microphone tab! just scroll down and you'll see some, maybe some can help adjust the sensitivity? if it's background noise picking up then there's a background noise reduction slider! :)

Hello, i think the Windows Update from yesterday killed my Sonar functionality or the functionality of my Artis 7+ in general. Selecting Sonar Gaming and Chat doesn't give me any sound neither for windows or any programs and Sonar Microphone doesn't work either. i have to Select Arctis 7+ as my device for all of those to work.
