Up to you. I like to lube the switch housings with 205g0 for linears while bag lubing the springs with GPL105.

For the stabs, 205g0 on the stems and housings, and then XHT-BDZ on the stabilizer wires. If you'd prefer not to spend the money for BDZ, I'd holee mod the stabs and use 205g0.

There is other stuff you can do, for example using stab pads to soften the bottom out but it's not something I do. Lots of other mods like the tempest mod for the pcb, but again it's preference. In the tofu you can also change the mounting style by removing a standoff and installing o-rings, plus various combinations of foam. See what you like.

Also keep in mind your board will sound very different with a different case material, different lubing technique, probably different keycaps etc

I know this could be stupid, but when I replaced my RAM I had the same thing even though obviously the PC powered on, I had no output. Turns out the RAM wasn't pressed in all the way. Double check that. Sometimes need to add more force than what we'd think is comfortable.

You can get expanding wall plugs so you can mount stuff

I’ve got a 55inch tv that’s been mounted to my wall using the expanding wall plugs for years

I feared I had the same issue but I have a wall mount on a 34" TV and it's fine, and believe me the walls for my home are not great at all (TY 70s construction). Take a gamble

Don't forget a fair amount of the monitor weight will be in the stand

I was attacked for cable management during my build by a bunch of "pro builders" in a pc builders server while I was in the process of putting this together before I ever plugged a cable in and it took me over a week with like 6 or 7 hours sleep on the final push to finish. It was a tremendous amount of hard work and I take pride in it, so yes, it does kind of strike a nerve when I feel insulted about the build. When I realized yall where talking about the desk too. I honestly instantly cooled down and laughed at myself.
