You should probably get some sort of glass topplate or something like that, and make sure all of your stands for cases, screens etc have rubber feet, as resin scratches very, very easily (We have a resin countertop in our bathroom), and a glassplate is a bit harder. Even just steel can scrath epoxy.

You could possibly also use on of those tables with what is essentially a big mousepad covering it all, with nice holes for cabble management, and often a rack of some sort underneath, to path the cabbles.

Epoxy is only around 3 on the Mohs hardness scale, where as glass is 5.5 to 7

So yeah
