Uhhh I have no experience with the 7+ but I know that the Pro had an option for "side tone" that was on by default a little, maybe it has that option in the engine idk. Otherwise you could check your recording device settings in Windows (assuming your using windows) and make sure "listen to this device is turned OFF):

If you also use Sonar you can have it set to something like AUX and it shouldn't capture it. If it is set to game or chat then it will capture it.

Hey does anyone know how to delete portions of clips entirely. If I have a 10 minute clip and I only want 4 minutes of it can I cut it and delete the unused part in software to save space?

I believe I fixed it by clearing out the moments that were in my folder. I think they were taking up memory somehow in the slips list by saving trim states and gifs etc. This worked for me so far I hope it helps. I was thinking about switching back to xbox clipping if I couldnt fix it.

there should be an option for it. Go to settings and scroll down to game detection and add the game there and then go to the auto-clip settings and you can adjust when it clips! Hope this is what you were looking for.

When recording starts in Moments, all audio in the recording, not just the game audio, skips. This happens not after recording, but during the recording operation. The video is fine, only the sound is problematic.

I have tried reducing the recording quality, but this does not seem to have any effect. I thought about memory shortage, etc., and checked the performance from the task manager, but no such cause was found.

If you’re just worried about clipping audio, I know OBS has options to separate applications’ audios without messing with what you hear. But for headphone/speaker usage I believe you’re gonna have to use something.

in my experience this is just a superficial issue when you first load a clip. give it a few moments and start the clip from the beginning and that usually gets all the audio tracks to sync. the issue (for me at least) also doesnt happen once a clip is actually exported.

Hello. So for cod mw3, Moments for autoclipping is an absolute disaster. Example: A helicopter shoots me in the head and an autoclip is recorded as a headshot but at the same time not a single autoclip in multiplayer. Autoclip does not work at all. The only thing that works is the top placement in Warzone. But since I'm a multiplayer player, it's completely pointless ... otherwise the manual clipping works perfectly. I have no problems, only that he always resets the microphone after an update. I would be happy if the multiplayer autoclip could be worked on in cod mw3... Thank you

buried deep in a support article for an unrelated issue, i found that moments won't record any game if you have HDR turned on in Windows 11

but now the clips have so much frame lag in most of the games I've tried
