@lament pawnFrom what I understand the 5800X can get up to low-mid 80s under full sustained load so like Mel said just apply more thermal paste and if you're really worried about temps that much then get a beefier cooler

You can limit FPS, having more FPS even tho the monitor refresh rate doesn't handle it, still gives a smoother experience, if you are thinking about the monitor? Its fine, but if you are thinking about the GPU getting messed up then the solution is to just cap the FPS.

Yeah right now you're pretty much better off with a pre build or a laptop but as far as laptop goes keep in mind that type of power is going to be throttled back some compared to desktops because they only allow a certain amount of cooling to fit in those
