youre only getting 1x16 in that pc
imo youd get much better value at building for 1200usd
It’s honestly alright because I only play around 5-6 games and I have enough storage and stuff for that
1x16 ddr5 is awful
Well I’m going to upgrade at some point
Is that what I should buy
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
Alright
if you built your own youd get much better value
I hope they give me a upgrade because they said there’s a good chance they will but they’d aid it’s not 100% in just really hoping right now
Well also if they give me the same one what should I get for a upgrade
why would you upgrade it immediately
They said they would give me a 4070 with a ryzen 7 7700 if they dint have the pc I got in stock tmr
if you want, get a new ram kit
depending what ram they give you
they dont even sell it all the same, customer reviews show some have 3, some have 1, some have 2
weird
I’m not but when I’m upgrading I don’t know what ram to get when I upgrade it
if they give you the same personally id be seeing if i can get a full refund
I mean obviously I’m not gonna upgrade right away I just want to know what to buy
ram
But I’ll lyk imma add you so I can tell you
Cause I’m going to be going to bed right now
IS this good for a 2k new pc? Its for a friend and he wants it for gaming
Power Unit: Corsair RMe Series RM850e de 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular
Peripherals: Tempest Apocalypse combo
H100 ❌ OR H150I
??
2k? what currency
this seems awful
what country are you in? ill take a look at a list for you
on second glance, that list is even worse than awful
seems like youre spanish. ill take a look
@signal sun https://es.pcpartpicker.com/list/TcKrFs
this is just under 2K and is infinitely better.
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower
both overpriced garbage iirc

Euros
@signal sun
lmfao ai is awful for pcs
it doesnt even check compatibility
but that list is awful lol yeah. use that one i sent
I did, ty again
https://www.pccomponentes.com/configurador/FaC600AfE this one is for me, What you think?
Ye its to update the pc
all you have is a cpu motherboard and ram
and a case
wheres like, everything else
the ram is really bad
motherboard is mid
whats your budget
ah upgrade
what do you have now?
i meant the whole pc
whats your entire parts list
not how i would have gone about it but usre
judging from those links
that upgrade is awful
dont even bother with the 7800x3d
:(
Gaming yeah
is it struggling to run what youre using it for
if its not struggling you dont need to upgrade
but if you want to upgrade
dont go for that
whats your upgrade budget? @signal sun
I would like to update Just in case there are some good games of this year i like
means nothing
whats your upgrade budget
if youre gaming a gpu upgrade would go further than a cpu lol
Mmm 700 max
.
spain yeah?
Yeah
Mmm i dont really know if i should change gpu... Fps is what i lack the most...
Struggles to get 60 on this year games
thats exactly why you should change gpu
???
the gpu is a Graphics Processing Unit
which will give you better fps
i always thought it was the cpu... im dumb
sorry for making you read this nonsense and thanks for your efforts and time.
Is the question for me?
Which one is better???

acer generally sucks for monitors but 1440p 180hz over 1080p whatever hertz anyday
curved is also just a gimmick, better to have a straight monitor imo
Ok
What is a good pc build for games like fortnite and world of tanks ?
Ryzen 7 800x3d is good for all game
And rx 7700xt is good for wot
Motherboard a b650-A (asus rog )
little overkill for only fortnite and world of tanks
@worthy oak what is your max budget?
budget and resolution
and what country
if you have to choose from these 2 the first ones better
Is this one better???

what are you looking for from your monitor
1080p or 1440p
youve linked both resolutions
What ever one is better
i use this monitor and its great
very appealing price on it too
Under 2.5k. My monitor currently is 1920x1080.
USA
im assuming you meant 2.5k for the whole pc
for the monitor this ones perfect
i recommend it
have you already got your pc? or are you planning a build with 2.5k. id gladly take a look at it for you
I’m planning to build one.
cool.
do you have a list in mind?
a site like https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ for example is good
Choose Your Parts
What’s the difference between a operating system pro and a home retail operating system?
if you have to ask, you dont need pro
but theres a couple features, most notably the support of up to 2000 something gigabytes of RAM
Would this be good ? I think it comes out to be 2575 dollars
are you using it for gaming
very bad list
Ok
ill make some changes
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
@worthy oak
saves you a whole 400 dollars
Thank you
When buying pc parts do you have to buy your own wires as well?
What extra stuff do I need to set it up?
no
everything comes included
you dont need anything extra to set it up other than a USB with at least 8gb space
Why a usb?
to install windows
Any suggestions on what I can do with these cables? 1 is from PC, 1 is from Xbox, both for controller, I don't want to be putting them away in between use, I want them to be easily accessible, but out of the way.
other than moving the pc one behind the xbox doesnt seem like theres much to do
very interested in your pc though
show it off
Don't have the glass side on xD
ALOT cheaper than 2x 32GB sticks when I bought them
makes sense
is that a 3090?
theres some very clear sag on it. might want to pick up a support stand/bracket
3080 12GB, I have one, just don't have it fitted, plan on replacing it soon anyway.
I had a 2080 Super and was going to upgrade to a 4090 (When they were announced but not released) but then my GPU died so I had to buy one then, so I don't upgrade
AMD
7900x
interesting. any particular reason for 7900x?
Asus ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi
ah no way, that sucks
Bought it before x3D came out
fair enough then
expensive motherboard fair play
you wouldnt catch me buying one of them. b650 is all you really need
looks nice though, I'd definitely consider it if custom loops werent so expensive
MOBO: Asus ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900x
CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 360mm
RAM: 4x 16GB Corsair DDR5 Dominator Platinum 5600mhz
GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Z Trio 12GB
PSU: Evga 1300G+
Case Fans: 3x Corsair LL RGB Fans
Was basing it of leaked RTX 4000 series power requirements before it was officially announced xD
yikes no way
i wouldnt listen to recommended wattage, let alone leaked recommended
i think the 4090 is recommended 1000w
doesnt need it at all lol
I shouldn't have to change it for a while though xD
the recommendations are made to accustom for the really crappy psus
oh absolutely not
its got pcie 5 right? 12vhpwr?
too lazy to google it rn but i assume it does
youll be fine on that PSU for ages
😭
Nice pfp Lisquie
haha cheers
I may need your help please 😅 but if you're helping this person it is not urgent
Probably upgrade to a RTX 5090 and a AMD Ryzen 9 9000 x3D CPU once they are released
whats up
DAMN do you just have infinite budget
dont think 9000 series is getting an x3d. cant remember what they announced
im pulling similar
They probably will, but won't be released to same time as standard 9000 series
im getting myself a 5090 on release and then custom looping
im waiting on my o11 evo to arrive to case swap. then ill custom loop this stuff now.
And I spend most of my time on my PC (Work and entertainment) so it's worth the price
absolutely, i say the same
im on it most of the day, may aswell give myself a nice experience
even if not. nothing wrong with a hobby
Well I put in my new fans and my cooler and everything is working well but it's a little louder than I'd prefer
So I downloaded fan control but I don't know what I'm doing lol, I can't make sense of the controls
Also sometimes the fans go faster than they're advertised to 🥸 it was making them go over 1800 which is what these fans said is the max (Arctic P12 PWM)
I have a 160hz 4K monitor and a second 4K monitor, need a beefy GPU to run games at 4K 160 xD
using fan control you can set custom fan curves for target rpms at different temperatures
i cant recommend anything as everyones noise tolerance is different, but play around a bit.
I just don't know what all this is and I don't want to break anything lol
you wont break anything doing that
if you want, play around with that slider and itll show you what your fans sound like at different rpms
Yeah I just checked the manual control checkbox and it got quieter when I dragged it down (duh), but obviously that won't work for everything bc the load on my pc changes ofc
There should be a way to set a fan curve, instead of a set RPM
yeah there is
Also I cannot figure out which of these fans is my case fan (I have the H5 flow which has a built in fan [yes I know my GPU is bad[)
Yea I ought to set the curve
But it's kinda late maybe I will do it this weekend... I don't have time tomorrow really
when it was calibrating it sounded like a jet lol
how many case fans do you have, are they daisy chained?
its easy to figure out what controls what
just boost their speeds and look/listen for what fan(s) change
No I don't think they are daisy chained, each fan got it's own plug
I tried 😭 I'll try again but it's on the bottom it's hard to tell
3 intake 1 exhaust?
I have 3 intake, 3 exhaust xD
uh 😅 my mobo does NOT have a lot of fan ports so I have 1 intake 1 exhaust and my cooler obv
5 intake 4 exhaust 😎
im pulling up to 12 fans total soon
3 intakes are for my AIO though, that's on the front
I mean, if you count GPU and PSU fans, I have 10
get a fan hub if youd like.
that makes it easy though
case fans dont need to be at high speeds constantly.
to make your life super easy, set all your fans other than cpu cooler to 0rpm. then just change each one until you see them turn on
so ig i have 2 intake
Only the essentials
i think we all need a plane

I replayed this game earlier this year but that moon level was killing me i stopped
thats a lot
yea :P
farewell? hardest base level
chapter 3 c side and chapter 7 b side is difficult
I didn't even attempt the c sides
fun game
I forget if I did chapter 7 b side
damn
what can i do about this
I'm not the most PC knowledged (obviously)
just disable what you dont want to turn on when your pc is turned on
I updated it
is this better? lol
idk what updaterstartutility is
oh it's Adobe 🙄 ofc
ew
fair enough
when i have to download any adobe stuff i make a partition on my drive and download it on there
I have seriously been considering reinstalling windows
when i dont need it anymore i just simply kill the partition off
Nice and clean
idek what half of mine are tbh
steam and only steam 😎
how do i remove stuff from the list
uninstall it
I really regret buying a roccat mouse it asks me if i want to download the new update every 10 seconds I swear
lmfao
Well I don't see RtkAudUService64 in his list but i googled it and that's Realtek audio I kinda need that
I think I have the java update scheduler in there bc of minecraft idk what else on my computer would use Java
and I play minecraft once in a blue moon
probably that
you cant uninstall some things
fuq microsoft
theres w11 ads in us
he doesn't have skype
skype mention
also why is discord in his list and not in mine
sorry for bombarding u with questions
discords funny. you might have just not got it on in discord settings
or have you only just downloaded it
onto my PC?
yeah
Need it for F1 24 :(
2016****
youve had your pc for that long and only just fan curve set up?
30th of December :)
hey it counts
It does 😄
im sorry... but f1 24 needs to go..
I had an AIO before and that was it
it worked
I was 24 😅
It's all good I'm used to it 👴
Alright well @lusty hinge I'll take a look at the curves this weekend ig
Thanks for your help

Still debating a clean install of windows, mostly because my appdata section is GROSS
doesn't reaaally matter but i don't like it
up to you. back up anything you care about to an external drive
years of being a stupid kid and not organizing anything
I joined Discord 26th July 2016
saw this on the pcmr subreddit and it is so true
Yea I have a 1tb and a 2tb external HDD
I have 2x 1TB SSD'd
inside my pc i have a 1tb ssd and a 1tb hdd
Which still has windows 10 installed...
I run windows 11 off my ssd
I just have it sitting with windows
Like I said, I am not too knowledgeable when it comes to computers
I'm not tech illiterate but yk
fair enough like
I'll keep mulling on whether or not to clean install windows
probably won't do it for a little while
it's not like I have to I just hate digging through empty appdata folders from years ago when cleaning out my drives
Possibly the best thing I have installed on my PC
nuh uh
yuh uh
No game, no point in Auto Switcher, so I guess it comes 2nd xD
exactly 😎
how do you as a sane person even put up with ea launcher
i wouldnt even consider downloading it on a completely seperate ssd completely empty of all life
It's awful, but I wanted to play F1 24
Couldn't even run it, I had to change windows settings to even launch it
it cant be worth it
I literally had to disable control flow guard in windows settings to even get the game to launch
It's terrible, bit even if you get the game on steam, it runs through EA
yeah same with siege and stuff
i completely forgot ea did it
bought 2 new vi5000s
left my pc to install siege
came back and its asking about ea
might have been ubisoft but im 99% sure it was ea launcher
ill have to check tomorrow. was never arsed enough to delete siege files
so ill try running it again
Wait what
@lusty hinge your pfp is Batman on mobile but when I click your profile it’s Badeline
nitro
i use server profiles
my girlfriend doesnt want to lose the matching profile picture lmfao so i use server profiles for my pfp
we've had the pfp like 2 years though i dont blame her
Do you guys have a good budget monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones?
what's your budget
alright
Or whatever is cheaper than that but good
are you using the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and headphones for gaming or something else
also what source are you getting these items from
Sorry im using them for gaming
And I would like to get them from Amazon
Alr
Part List - Intel Core i9-12900KS, 2 x Arc A770, be quiet! Dark Base 701 ATX Mid Tower
can someone tell me what this means?
1st one means that the website doesn't check if the fans are compatible with the case (in rarer cases parts such as the motherboard) you chose, more specifically the brackets where the fans can be mounted into (usually 120mm or 140mm for most fans, yours being 120mm in the image above). you would probably have to look a bit deeper (id suggest a case review on youtube) to figure out what size fans you should get.
did a quick search on the second one, seems like that cable is something to do with the orientation and positioning of your graphics card. not entirely sure though. graphics cards don't usually need it from what i've seen. maybe check your compatibility?
the third one means you kinda have to keep a mental image of how much room you have, especially clearance for the cpu cooler, gpu and possibly psu if there is no 'basement' to hide the psu. look up some pc builds to start learning where parts go, especially the graphics card and compare that connection to where the motherboard is.
the graphics cards and cpu fan coolers can be especially beefy, so definitely check those sizes in retrospect to your motherboard and tower. popular cases that get reviews a lot on pcpartpicker tell you how much room you have to work with if you look towards the left side of the screen where every other specification is.
You know... that the second Image I have sent here with the question what it has to mean is based of the link above.
And the image with the Corsair Setup is from Corsair PC Builder, not from PC Part Picker
what is this for?? its awful
ignore 1 and 3.
likely also ignore 2. you just need a riser cable if youre vertical mounting
send a pcpp link
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 6650 XT, GAMDIAS AURA GC1 ATX Mid Tower
You helped me make the list remember? Lol
No offence but isn't it possible to just have 2 GPUs in a setup and be happy?
And since arc just doesn't go away from my head I decided to stick with team blue
Plus The Arc has Interesting "perks" other gpus don't have
never since the 2 gpus is what makes it bad
everything else in the list is what makes it bad
lol
tell me what youre using it for
this one, just stop.
im not even gonna correct it, its that bad. 1.5k and theres not even a cpu or a gpu in there
corsair also uses proprietary connections. they also have mediocre quality in ram, ssd, and psus
completely forgot, thats my bad. i make a lot of pcpp lists
No problem
lol it’s cool thanks again
whats the list for? the one with 2 gpus
Gaming (with mods), Streaming, 3D Editing, Video Editing, Game Development, Programming, Music Production, Photoshoping, and other usable experiences that can be used for the Worklife
Gaming and 3D Editing
yikes. that list is very poor then
tbf. it was bad for all of them
ill take a look at it again and make some changes
it doesnt seem like you even need 64gb ram
:/ fine by me. But pls do me a favor and use only a limited number of brands. Like how I did it in the list.
People told me it would be handy for music production
professional or hobbyist
if its professional, youd likely choose a different one. hobbyist? dont need one
Hobbyist which should lead to bigger stuff
dont need one then
why are you spending so much on your case + fans?
and motherboard
Case and fans because of ocpd and perfectionism. Mainboard because I thought ASRock Taichi Z690 isn't as good as Asus ROG Maximus Hero Z790
how come youre choosing arc gpus instead of an nvidia?
amd wouldnt be good for this
but why arc?
if youre stuck with arc, you only need 1
- The fear it could burn
- They are basically Apple
- PP Behaviour is really unfair and expensive
- The Arc won't go out of my mind.
- AMD isn't that good in 3D stuff as Intel or Nvidia

nvidia gpus wont burn
amd gpus wont suit for your workload sure
what features does arc have that nvidia doesnt? which you need?
AV1 Code from Arc. XeSS. Deep Link.
I do yes. And I also know that Nvidias Cuda is unbeatable
for 500 dollars youd get better performance with an nvidia gpu
because 2 arc gpus are a waste lol
the arc has a very appealing price with 16gb vram and its features. but when youre spending that much... team green
I will always go Nvidia, Intel wouldn't even be an option for me.
amd is great
arc is usually never worth it
theyre great for low budget work orientated computers
but outside of that? kinda mid
theyre also very fiddly. youll spend half of your time troubleshooting
I'll always go Nvidia because 1 they're better performance (But more expensive) and 2 Nvidias software is only available on Nvidia GPU's (DLSS ETC ETC) where as AMD's is open source, so if a a game only has DLSS you can use it, if a game only has AMD Fideleity FX you can use it, where as if you had an AMD card, you can only use FidelityFX. where a lot of games and stuff only have DLSS
@umbral bramble ill make chanhes to your list later. ive got to head out to the doctors now though
if anyone else in the mean time wants to try go for it
Sure tyt
You can get an RTX 4070 for the same price, which is 73% more performance than one of those
99.9% of games/apps don't support 2x GPU's anyway
Nvidia also supposrt AV1 encoding
And has cuda cores, access to Nvidia only things, such as DLSS and is kept more upto date than Intel
multi gpu usage is dead
@umbral bramble also just incase you didn't know, you selected a PSU that doesn't have a price, not sure if that was intentional
sli rest in peace
probs some weird site
this is gl1tch
he comes here often with lists worse than before
xD
Also, as a person who bought 2 packs of 2x ram with 64GB total, I'd get a 2 stick pack and only get 64gb if you actually need it, DDR5 boot times with that much ram is slow
he doesnt need 64gb
he always has very funny requirements
but theyre very bad requirements
Without turning memory training off in bios, it takes 1.5 minutes for my screens to even turn on
About 30 seconds with it turned off, which is still long, just because of the amount of ram
I feel like I should make multiple PC part lists for different price ranges
Like $1000 to $4000
Anyone want to see my over the top PC build? xD
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, HYTE Y70 Touch ATX Mid Tower
Might do it xD
@lusty hinge What you think of my build xD
Idk if I should take that as an insult or as a compliment
What's your budget and I'll give you a good list
Besides @lusty hinge you remind me of my friend who also likes to describe me like that in order to help me solving my problems. Which is lately annoying as hell 🙄
Up to 2000€
1500 is save
300 will maybe come from me if I can save it
An unknown budget will arrive as well
Any specific country? Prices are different for different countires that use euros
Germany or Eastern
Do you actually need a 384 kHz Sound Card?
Besides
I have ocpd which means extreme high perfectionism. This will affect me deeply when I have my new PC. Because as you maybe seen. I give a focus on the amount of brands. Sounds stupid but I can't help it. And when there will be a variety of different brands, this will make me feel really uncomfortable. So when you make a list for me, pls give a focus on the amount of brands as I do with my lists.
As an hobbyist for music production...idk. some people say yes, some no. So I can't give a clear answer
If you don't have audio equiptment that support 384khz, there's no point
I only have the arctis nova pro wireless
As my headphones
Soon I will buy the tusq to provide getting a dent like from jinxy
Or LolTyler1
@umbral bramble https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/J42QJy
€2000
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
Brand focus as I said?
Asus/Corsair is the only things you'll be able to see
Ok thx.
Western Digital SSD, but that's going to be under a heatsink, and AMD CPU, which will be under the cooler, so you won't see those
I didn't ment it with seeing it. KNOWING it. Pls don't judge.
Can change the SSD to Corsair too, but you'll need to either increase price or suffer a performance
And then it's just AMD, ASUS, Corsair
Yeah I thought about that
Which is pretty much the least brands you can get
Looks good. Thx
why are you paying for brand
you dont buy brand you buy model
when you use your computer, do you stare at it? or the monitor
I just buy performance xD
exactly
Did you like my list I made earlier? xD
cheapest gpu, best value everything else
ill check it in a moment
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, HYTE Y70 Touch ATX Mid Tower
just got home
is this just an uncapped budget build
its, something
Yup, I might get it, but with a 9000 series x3D CPU and a 5090 when released
i wouldnt buy that
a 4090 build doesnt need to be more than 4k
4k at extreme
for 6k its surprisingly, mediocre
ill check it out in a moment and make some changes. give me like 5 minutes though, im starving lmao
AIO GPU, the mobo and storage is way too expensive, overkill PSU, 128GB of ram
Case is expensive too, but it looks cool
I've gone for performance, aesthetics and quiet
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4y7rFs
Same specs, just less aesthetically pleasing and louder
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
For under 4K
what are your requirements and usage
well, just usage
and then whats your budget and aesthetic preference
im assuming youre US
UK
And just best performance, that case, quiet as possible (Hence why I went AIO GPU) no budget
how come youre using US pcpp
also, where by in the UK? i might come buy that 3080 from you...
@chrome wreni have a ryzen 7 7800x3d tuf gaminng mother board geforce rtx 4070 64 ggi ram 2 t hardrive spent 1400 or less on it seeing something about 6 g or am i seeing wrong
7800x3d and 4070 very mismatched wow
@chrome wren
do you need 128gb? 32gb will suit most people
even a lot of work loads are fine with 32gb
It was just an OP build, I need 64Gb
ah cool alright
64gb? what do you do
ill include it
how much do you care about that rgb? theres a really nice priced 64gb ram https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/6QcgXL/gskill-flare-x5-64-gb-2-x-32-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-f5-6000j3040g32gx2-fx5
6000mhz cl30 too
I'd prefer to stick with Corsair, WD, Asus for most things and I want RGB
(So I don't have to install loads of things)
ah right. any reason for buying into brand?
ah
you can use things like SignalRGB or OpenRGB
they control most aRGB
Don't like it
Corsair I can set cooling and RGB and then save it to device and not have the app open at all
ill keep that in mind for rgb parts then
you should get a corsair 1000d

corsair 4000d only has clearance for a 240mm aio? never knew
oh yeah lol
silly me
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hhNLQP @chrome wren
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
Was gonna say, my current case is 360 front, 280 top 120 back and my case is smaller
this seems alright
i couldnt remember how much storage you needed
so 2 vi5000 2tb
@chrome wren if you want a "cheap" 4090 with some rgb, this one is https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/MPRYcf/palit-gamerock-oc-geforce-rtx-4090-24-gb-video-card-ned4090s19sb-1020g
And if I was to do custom, I'd want hard tubes, and they'd end up crooked xD
haha yeah fair enough
I do really like that case I added, with the touch screen 4K screen built in
oh yeah, i dont know why i changed that
I'd add a PSU with a display too, if it was a case where the PSU was visible
But it's hidden behind the mobo tray
i dont think thats worrth it
even if it was visible
theyre either pretty pricy or just not good quality
It's just cool, and unlimited budget, why not
fair
id have to check if theres any fairly priced quality ones
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/sqfMkJ
just over 3k
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, HYTE Y70 Touch ATX Mid Tower

used to be £140
I just got my new pc and this happened anyone know how to fix this
just put the clip back on
So I don’t know how to do that and in the bottom it’s also like that

a lot of the time theyre left hanging as they arent needed
especially with prebuilts/non modular PSUs
yeah just leave it
Alright

Hello anyone?
Hello, just want to ask should I upgrade my monitor or just upgrade my pc?
Pc specs idk if it’s low or mid tier
Ryzen 5 4600G
Rx580 8gb
32gb ram 3200
Deep cool DE600watts
Motherboard GA-AB350M-Gaming 3
Monitor is just 60hz 19 or 20” I forgot
this doesnt tell us anything
what are you trying to achieve with an upgrade
Oh sorry
whats your budget
what country
what games
etc
youre also missing out your psu
nvm
Slr my budget is 100$ and idk if I should get the monitor or just upgrade a part…
Ummm 2022 to 2023 games I think I dont play much because busy. And I just want to treat myself…
thanks when i search 2022 on steam nothing comes up
Oh well thanks for entertaining me have a great day
lmfao
what country are you in
and what do you want to achieve with the upgrade
that is as simple as it gets
School PC better than my PC 💀
What does a school need RTX for
as a joke perspective i get it
but there are plenty of reasons for a school to have an rtx series/raytracing capable card
nvidia rtx cards have good performance and have the beneficial cuda cores which help out in a lot of workloads
for example, my college course supplies us with 3080 prebuilts
but i just use my own
(4080S)
i need the cuda cores for my work, as they massively improve my performance and speeds
things such as 3d design and game development benefit
True true
Hey I’m not rly building a pc but can anyone tell me if this RAM is compatible with my Alienware aurora r8 I’m clueless on this shi😂
Style Name:3200 MT/s | Size Name:16 GB CT16G4SFRA32A is a 16GB DDR4 notebook module that operates at speeds up to 3200 MT/s and has a CL22 latency. It is an Unbuffered SODIMM and can be built either single-ranked or dual-ranked. It conforms to the industry standard DDR4 SODIMM layout of 260 pins ...
no
Ah okay do u think u could guide me on what to search
Ty as well
Tyy
Okay cool
ill link you some now
it seems you can buy compatible kits from their site
https://uk.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/alienware/aurora-r8
good luck mixing ram
Do u think I should get more 8gigs or just go for a 16gig?
2x16gb
Would I need to take out my 8gigs?
yes
Ah okay
Thanks for ur help I appreciate ittt👍
no problem
if you do end up buying the ram, make sure you put the new ones in the same slots as the old ones
it should run in dual channel which is quicker
Thank uuuu

ryzen 7 7700x is overkill with rtx 4060?
Do i need thermal new thermal paste if im also going to clean the intake/exhaust ports from the inside
hey i found this monitor and i was wondering if it was good, if not does anyone know any similar sized similarly priced monitors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ1WCQT2/ref=sspa_dk_hqp_detail_aax_0?sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9ocXBfc2hhcmVk&th=1
unknown ah brand
ight my bad
i wouldnt recommend but theyre awesome for budget
do you own either?
what
the fans??
this is my primary monitor, same pricing, does great
if youre taking your cpu cooler off, yes. id recommend a repaste.
mx6 is good.
if youre only taking the fans off, no need
Yo thanks
Also
Im upgrading the ram and storage, is there any things to do for the ram
No, im going to do an upgrade for the cpu.
i got a nice pc but i am serching for some good gaming monitors between 300-450 dolars per monitor
i dont recommend either choice
make sure they go in slots a2 and b2
also make sure theyre compatible
you only need 1 good monitor
if you want 2, get 1 1440p 165hz monitor and then 1 60hz/120hz 1080p monitor
Its laptop so one slots :3
ah even easier. make sure its the correct type of ram
its likely sodimm but there's a few that use udimm
Nice XD
@lusty hinge
Is this also good for ssd
SSD drive NV2 1000GB M.2 2280 PCI-e 4.0 NVMe 3500/2100
Its a Kingston

Would this be better?

none of them
what country are you in?
Lithuania🇱🇹
So the only good thing I found was ram lol
Or just get the same ssd my laptop came with
i believe the vp4300 is a good price
id have to double check
k
Should I just get the ssd thats already in my laptop then
you could do
whats the price on that
K
We have here a website called kaina that u can see each stores price, but it isnt listed
Also
I found the vp u said for 72 so ig it will work
Honestley i found the same for 78 but it would save the hastle of buying from two shops
vi5000 2tb should be cheap
us75, xg7000, a95, nm790 , s880
they are often well priced.
what do you recommed?
i own a pc, I thought I’d upgrade for the cpu
what country are you from

Aok
If it's the wrong channel I'm sorry, but I'm looking for information regarding a 2 PC setup using Sonar to route Audio to OBS. If anyone has done this, I'd like to know how it's routed (which audio sources are on which pc and how to route to hear it while streaming) or if there is a video out there (I haven't been able to find out) that might explain it for me. Thank you
thx
is my pc good? 4070ti i7 13700k 32g ddr5 1tb storage
Seems decent enough. Does it do what you want it to?
use it for fortnite, i can easily do what i want it to but do I take it off of performance mode
and start using direct 12
Damn Corsair is unironically selling a 7900X3D with a 4060TI 💀
Everything else is pretty decent. Although they could easily lower the memory count to 32GB and put the money towards at least a 4070 for that price. Regardless, if that's what you're looking at, I'd personally sell that 4060TI and use the money from that towards a 4080/7900
At least I assume the main use case is gaming in which case you definitely need a better card to match the rest of the specs
7900x3d isnt even good for gaming
do you have a link to the prebuilt
oooh
nvm im an idiot
i dont think ive ever seen a bigger waste of money
But of advice what would suggest?
What would you suggest
building your own
That is me building it
Tbh I’ve only been around pcs for around 3-4 months so I’m still new to it. And yes and I’m an admin so need the storage
whats your primary use of the pc
No admin for a rust server
ah
So yeah mainly gaming
gaming
Yh
is your budget 1.5k

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/t7WdkJ @lean shard
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower

i didnt include windows license, i figure you already have one

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower
Suggestions for upgrading my graphics card?
Budget around 700/800 Euros.
I currently have an RTX 3070, which will go into my girlfriend's PC because her 1080 has decided to stop working.
A bit of an upgrade would be nice, I'm see alot of 4070, 4070 Supers, and AMD cards around this budget.
id be happy to give you a recommendation.
what country is this in and what do you use your computer for?
it would also help if you could share what power supply you have, but ill assume its got sufficient clearance anyway
Thanks!
I'm from the Netherlands.
PC is mainly used for gaming and work (I from home, but no heavy things, just webdevelopment).
My powersupply at this moment is a Coolermaster G650M
650w might be a biiit tight.
what cpu + motherboard do you have?
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
B550 Aorus Pro V2
ah, thats great
i believe a 7900 gre could easily work then.
ill double check though, give me a moment
Thanks! 🙂
it should work yes
a 7900 gre will cost you around 600 euros, but i wouldnt personally recommend getting much higher than it unless you upgrade to a 750/850w psu
cheapest gre i can see is 560 euros
if you wanted, that leaves you enough budget to also get a new psu. although it shouldn't be necessary
PSU upgrade will not be a problem, we just set a budget for the GPU
ah. if you wanted i could link you a PSU and choose a better gpu?
Yeah exactly!
awesome. ill do that then
bare with me a second
you could get yourself a 7900 XT if you wanted best value (gaming) performance at that price point. it has 20GB vram which should also suit you plenty for the time being.
for a PSU, id recommend either an MSI MAG A850GL, or a be quiet! Pure Power 12M
both psus should be 850w
the msi mag is cheaper than the pure power but i believe the pure power is a tad bit better in terms of quality
the cheapest 7900XT is 742 euros, and if you wanted a white one, they're pretty cheap
749 euros for the cheapest white XT
I do not really care about the color haha, my pc is a mix already between white and black. CPU AIO is white.
Thanks man, i will look into that
haha awesome then, feel free to @ me if you want help with anything else.
ill respond as soon as i can
can someone help me my apex pro tkl is spamming random keys
does that mean you're getting random keypresses or that when you press random keys sometimes it won't stop?
I am getting random keys spammed and I tried to unplug and make the actuation higher but I don’t know what I should do @everone
Please help!!!
Contact support or rma it where you bought it
We can't help you unfortunately
Also this is very much the wrong channel :)
yeah i get hype to hear pings/see activity from this channel just for it to be nonsense
@lusty hinge Just ordered my parts and when I get them what tools do I need to pry open the backplate. Outside of using Philips screwdriver for screws
pry open the backplate??
what the hell are you doing?
the only thing you will need to assemble a pc is a screwdriver
youll need 2 phillips head screwdrivers and thats it.
one small sized one for things like m.2 slot.
one larger one for literally everything else
Yeah but once I tried opening it without screws and I couldn't open it
Some of the videos i watched of it being opened the ppl where using a plastic prying tool
Go to 0.18s

big ups lennart
Yeah....
Some people are weird
lmfao yeah very weird
But thanks for the ping
no problem

no not really
if you just say get the parts you end up with rubbish
samsung ssd.. corsair ram... nzxt aio...
lian li uni fans especially
£90 for a bundle of 3 when i can get 9 TL-M12 that look identical for £70
what're everyones suggestions for fans? RGB prefered. Looking at NZXT f120 core. Looks like good airflow (78cfm) but open to other suggestions.
seems people online either care about looks or performance, but not both.
what are you trying to spend
well
willing to spend
if you want something cheap that gets the job done. TL-C12.
if you want something cheap that gets the job done AND looks nice? M12
Im not too woried about budget tbh.
US
2 seconds
b12 extreme are good iirc
extreme/extrem i cant remember
if you want 140mm c14 fans are good
p12 max also
@sweet jasper
Thank you, any rgb options? I know rgb can be tacky but I like the option
uhhh
im not too sure if theres much of a market for high movement rgb fans
i could take a look though
Tbh, hard to make assumption. what specs are you running ? If your running just a standard gaming pc with no parts with insane demanding powers. any fan is basiclly okay. Lian Li' are nowadays very popular. Since they are just meant to move air. The type of case matters more than the fans itself imo
assumption? he asked for fan suggestions that move a good bit of air
lian li fans are dogshit
considering their price point (almost 90GBP for a 3 pack) they are extremely mediocre
genuinely shouldn't buy them unless the only thing you want from your pc is to look nice
if you want better, thermalright makes clones of them which are actually good for the price. theyre called the M12
if you want rgb, TL-M12-S
if you dont care about blade rgb, TL-M12
How do I turn off sidetone?
Many SteelSeries headsets come with Sidetone, which allow you to hear yourself through the headset’s mic for better clarity when talking.
For most headsets, the volume of the Sidetone can be lowered in SteelSeries Engine, which is part of GG. GG can be downloaded here: https://steelseries.com/gg
If you have a “Playstation” version of a headset (such as the Arctis Nova 7P) then your headset may have a physical wheel on the headset for turning the sidetone down.
For analog headsets that use the 3.5mm headphone port, sidetone may be generated by your on-board audio devices. Please refer to your computer manufacturer’s support for more help

Yeah my point is like if your specs are like mid tier, i5 cpu, 3060 etc. Then any kind of fans are going to make to job done.. heck even cheap back in the days nzxt ones will do it. I dont think subjects like this arent really thinks to think about alot imo
Just get any ones from any reasonable brand and your good to go. Case is something more important to check on for good airflow with decent fans..
i5 means nothing
mid tier
