hey guys, i have a problem with my storage and can comeone help me out? my ssd is 512gb only and im starting to lose a lot of space but i only have one ssd slot but i know that if i swap it with a 1tb ssd it will reset everything and i have to get windows all over again but i dont want that to happen. how can i keep all of my data on my 512gb ssd and transfer it all to the 1tb ssd so i dont have to reinstall windows and all of my apps?
they make PCIe adaptors for SSDs so you can mount it in an HDD slot
With SATA you can basically just stick it anywhere as long as you have the plugs for it, if it's m.2 you can get a mounting kit to put it in an unused PCIe slot. You can also turn your old SSD into an external drive via a usb-to-SATA kit. the sky's the limit
i really have no idea of how to do that i am very stupid with pc building 😆
that's a-okay.
SATA are gonna be the larger flattish ones like a sandisk or samsung ssd, m.2 are gonna be smaller and almost look like RAM turned sideways
npnp.
Deco Gear 27 Inch Gaming Monitor Every computer needs a great PC. However, to maximize the potential of your PC, you are going to need a good monitor. One excellent example is the . Thanks to its 2560x1440 high-resolution, youâll be able to see everything with outstanding performance and clarit...
is this monitor a good pick
I'm on a budget of 3000 dollars
sire I request your assistance
hmmm
I have 1400 dollars left
for the price it ain't bad
how does it suck though
that means that's as high as it'll go without distortion
what
you can put the resolution higher, but bearing in mind that it'll contort to 16:9
it's like stretching a foot of fabric over 18 inches of frame
it'll work, but it'll look weird
currently 16:9 is like 'industry standard'
so would an office monitor have that
so it'll be fine for basically everything you want it to do. but if you wanna like. watch something in 4k it's gonna look a little pixellated
yeah no then I want to ball out a bit
are there any good 200 hz monitors under 400?
don't bother
your eye can't go above 144 anyway
it'll start to look hyperrealistic and give you a headache
i have an asus i got in 2020 for 199 that's pretty solid,
I found some
in some cases you can almost get away with buying a TV instead
the manufacturing is essentially the same now
no way
no foolin
also check this
it looks like an amazing deal
monitors will have less input lag but you can compensate through settings by turning off automatic smoothing
not terrible. good for the price
hooray
i personally dislike curved displays but that's because my eyesight is a little wonky
I like them a lot
now ! my good nerd i must go to work o/ glad to have been of assistance
thank you
have a nice day
you as well
:D
(also. it doesnt bother me but i am in fact a lady)
oops mb
it's not that easy
I live in south Africa right now. The price of this pc is approximately 1k dollars. Anything I should change to make it cheaper or is it good how it is. My budget is about 1k and I have never had a tower before. I can likely. Get a monitor later because right now I do have a 60fps 1080p one that works fine.

However I want a PC that I won't have to pay a down-payment on a car in order to upgrade when the time comes in the future
4060 is a bit overkill for that CPU. I'd suggest a 3050, maybe 3060. That itself should save you a bit
Things like editing? Or other cpu intense tasks? I dont do it but in the case i do would my performance be lack luster or what would it look like?
THe performance loss isn't that big, the CPU clocks lower and that's where the issue generally lies
While it would be lower, it should still be very good and is, imo, an acceptable percentages, or wahtever you wanna use, for the benefits it gives you
Ok thanks for your help
I just the 7900xtx being sold for 660$ on amazon rn but the seller has like no reviews but it seems like a crazy good deal whats your thoughts on it
DOn't trust
Yeah kinda my thoughts too i looked at their amazon storefront its literally just 5 gpus from sapphire ranging from the 7800xt to the 7900xtx all being sold for incredibly low prices saying they are on sale
But the seller has 1 review and thats it
Thinking of getting a new graphics card, the budget is £900, need it to run warzone, Fortnite, cs2, gta and more at around 200 fps, any recommendations or things I should know before buying a graphics card
7900XTX?
Is there anything else I would need to know whilst getting a 7900, like any cpu requirements or other parts?
just got my GPU, building the PC tomorrow!
Nope
Alr thanks for the help I’ll research the 7900 abit more❤️
7900 XTX for close to 900 pounds
There is an XT and a GRE
And like, GRE is named, fine ig, the XT isn't
Hey guys, how much do you nerd around when adjusting a new BIOS? I fine tuned my DRAM to the appropriate frequency but that's it, do you have some other standard settings that you review?
Realistically I have 1.2k chilling my wallet I was just giving a number near
XTX performs the best I’m guessing
Also if I was to play on high graphics what would be an estimate on fps
I think i screwed up... I got a i7-13700k a bit ago (from an i5 7th gen cpu) and I have an rx 580... I cant get a new gpu till December
building my pc
Nice! Enjoy :)
Who can give me a graphics card pls
i can give u an 256 mb ati rage graphics card lol
There's lots of stores that will help you for money :)
if i want to buy the lian li lcd fans for my aio do i buy normal or reverse
Nice but not nice
The value in 4060 series is not that good
Its actually bad
Compared to used 3080
yes ?
screw you. it runs Minecraft.
But can it run shaders with discord in the back ground
i got a 4060 and it runs perfect
It was supposed to be a joke cause
But it is very limited though the 4060
yes
it works for the games I play and fit perfectly in my budget
How much better is the 4060 or whatever graphics cards over a RTX 3060. Just wondering.
My pc runs games really good just wondering how much better it could be
My pc is
Intel i5 - 10400cpu
Nivida RTX 3060
Samsung SSD 980 Pro 2tb
32GB ram
my pc is
ryzen 3 3200g
gtx 1050
8gb ram
Not much better
At that point, get like a better CPU or like
7700xt or smth
Ok is my cpu now decent
Guys is Rx 6600 8gb good with Ryzen 5 5600?
it is wise to first put the mobo inside the case and connect the cpu power cable so you dont struggle because of the cpu cooling taking most of the space
what gpu do u guys recommend for a ryzen 5 5600g?
ok but I't worked
Rx 6700
Question
the hell is the difference here

Any uh gpu recommendations for i7-14700KF?
any recommendations for a GPU match for a R7 5700G
Random question but is it possible to partition a drive for an OS when installing said OS?
Like if I have a 2 TB NVME can I allocate 500 GB to just the OS?
Nooo
Rx 6700
Rtx 4080
why?
And what do you want to pair it with?
idk but i just wonder why u dont recommend nvidia
For that cpu? Nah
why ?
Ok 😂
I thought that you are the “techtok nvidia fanboy” that wanted to pair it with the white gigabyte aero 4060
And one more aspect
Radeons are much cheaper than rtx
Thanks for the advice!
lol
yup
Still looking for an answer to this.
I'm looking for a PC with a lot of storage to do some photo editing and also gaming, can someone help me?
Thanks a lot
hi guys i just joined here what cpu should i match with 4070 ti
depends a lot on the resolution you're planning to be playing on, 1080p is more cpu dependant than 1440p or higher
also titles matter too
MyMIDI is starter code for customizing your MIDI. It supports SteelSeries Sonar for multi-channel audio. Some games allow you to play music in them using letters on your keyboard. There's an example profile how you can map buttons on your MIDI to keystrokes, so you can jam out on your MIDI.
You can launch applications and set macros to each button on your device. MyMIDI is built in RUST and is lightweight, so you can keep it running in the background without it hogging resources.
my pc is running slow
👍
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/smNxKX Someone mind looking this over for me and giving feedback on it?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 3070, Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower
Doing a rebuild since I have an excuse to, given the motherboard in my current rig finally bit the dust.
why not
kingstons are slower than samsungs
Samsung is also way more reliable

The second link Lennart sent
Iirc that was because of the bios on the thing being bad
Still an issue, but it's fixed and they're up to par iirc
The note about sabrent is much more of a "we should always have diversified our products to not be stuck with one thing if it fucks up"
Thanks ❤️
Hi everyone, im trying to install a M2 in a sata adapter but the m2 doesnt want to fit.
This seems to be the thing holding it back, does anyone know wether this is a fault of the the adapter or if im just stupid
What can

Yeah not working
I've honestly no idea
Same ty for trying tho

Cool thanks
what specs do you have to go with it?
Created MIDI software that supports multichannel audio control via SteelSeries Sonar. You can use buttons as hot keys to open SteelSeries GG or a terminal or VS code. A midi also looks pretty sweet in a PC setup. It's set up for Genshin as a demo profile, so you can play the Lyre using piano keys. Written in Rust. Doesn't waste resources. 0% CPU and 1.5 MB ram, making it a lightweight alternative to heavy MIDI software.

uhm, for a 5 5600G.
3060 or 6600?
which one u recommend?
is a 4060 ti good for 175$ new?
ryzen 5700
hey everyone,I have a question,what is a good processor for a RX6600
alr tysm
budget cpu r5 5600 highend i5 13400
does the apex 9 mini has reactive lights
is this bad?
i have a ryzen 3 3200g gtx 1050 and 8gb of ram
Alright I need some heads on this one

(Don't know if the corsair link system is worth the extra $200 just to avoid the headache of fan cable management plus iCue support)
Generally fans have chaining, whichis good
It really depends on "do i want to spend 200 bucks on this system?"
Also you have to use iCue
Didn't know that but these fans magnetically lock together (both the lian li and corsair)
So it's just a matter of which has the better RGB basically
As for this I'm gonna be using it for my keyboard anyway eventually

will 32gb of ram be enough for obs, chrome, a game and discord?
Are you asking me or in general?
Because I use Firefox not Chrome, and I use Discord and play games with 16 GB just fine.
ok
(Chrome has just been having issues recently)
ok
im thinking about gettin anew ssd
but im not sure if iswitch out my old one with the new one if windows and stuff will beon it
and would there be a way to transfer my info from my old one to the new one
Thinking about getting a RTX 3070 Ti to pair with my i7-13700k and 32gb of ddr5 ram. I currently have an rx580
Or would an rtx 3060 ti pair better with it?
3070 has higher performance
Random question but is where to dispose of e-waste something I can just google?
Because I don't want my dead motherboard to end up in a landfill.
!!!!!
I'm thinking of swapping my PC: 2070 super, i7 10th Gen for my brother's laptop: 3060, and i7 12th Gen, both have 1 terabyte. Is it worth it
hi everyone, im planning to upgrade one of my pc component this year, but i am not sure which one to upgrade, i would be thankfull if i could get anyone opinon
16 gb of ram
You can get another 16 gb of ram so then you can have 32 gb of ram or even 132 gb of ram.
Cause most games need more than 16 gb of ram and need 32 gb of ram.
i didnt know that my mobo could support that much of ram
but between my cpu and gpu, which one should i upgrade first
i usually play in 1080p monitor
when GGs coming to Linux?
I have a question so I have a pc with the I7 14000kf but my case is the ABS cyclone mATX I wanna know what cpu cooler would be the best or most compatible with my cpu
I’ve heard that thermalright phantom spirit is good and the deepcool ak620
fera 5 wont fit?
Hahahaha you got the squad laughing.
Wym?
Should I get an r5 or r7, and is gpu bottleneck a big problem? Since I'm using 3050
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CVN-6/saved/#view=z9LYWZ This monstrosity that I've designed will never be allowed to exist, but a man can dream....
Saved Part Lists
hint: the price tag came out to be over 12 thousand dollars...
You should get the r7 so then the loading is a lot faster I mean the 3050 is okay but it depends on how long you have had it I used to have the nividia 970 then upgraded to the 4070 just a few weeks ago but you might have to go up higher to like the 4090 or 4070.
guys what is the cleanest black motherboard with ddr5 and can work with a amd ryzen 5 5600x?
Hi anyone knowledgeable enough that could help me pick pc parts for my new pc? ( around 2k euros)
so straight to r7 then gpu ( need to change power supply also )
none
Ryzen 5000 is AM4 which only supports DDR4
Ryzen 7000 is AM5 and supports only DDR5
Yeah to a better one
ok then what is a good ryzen 7000 and a clean black motherboard under 700?
Should i upgrade my CPU or my GPU first ?
- GTX 1650 Super
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
It's a PC from 2019, and i feel like upgrading it soon. My GPU is a bit older, like 1 year or maybe 2.
Most of the time i play Battlefield 2042 & FiveM / Singleplayer Grand Theft Auto V.
I've looked at a RTX 4060, but i'm unsure what to upgrade, and if a 4060 would be too powerfull for my CPU.
I would say upgrade your gpu
Your cpu is pretty good still, I have a friend who has a 4060 with that cpu
Just make sure you have the psu for it
Sorry, i'm a bit new to this upgrading thing, but what is a PSU? - Is that the powersupply, or ?
yes its power supply the 4060 will be a good pair with the R5 3600 cpu but if u think more about the games graphics you should not go less than 12gb of VRam thats the todays games minumum you can still play some games with 8gb of VRam but you need to lower your graphics wish you the best
What would You recommend for a GPU With 12 GB?
depends on how much you are willing to spend really
ill give u some that are not really overpriced and still good
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3070
-AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080-Not more powerfull than RTX 3060Ti and 3070 but still good
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (Non-Ti)-same performance as the RTX 4060 myb 2-7 fps difference
out of all of them i only know for the RX 6700XT is capabe to run 4k gaming, the rest of the gpu-s can do 1080p adn 1440p
if you would like the games to look better i would recommen a 2k monitor with minimum 144hz and 27 inch
if u have any other questions i would be more than happy to answer them and help you🙂
I only have a 1080p Monitor 280 Hz 24 inch.
Does that still mean, that i can use RX6700?
i9 9900k with a 4060ti gtood or bad ?
oh yea the monitor is good 1080p,24 inch for any game
if u think of buying 27 inch consider a 2k monitor
Pairing an i9-9900K with an RTX 4060 Ti would create a high-performance gaming and productivity setup.
you can even achieve 4k gaming
idk if 4k with good graphics and fps will work that well
it should work because you have a i9 9900k that is good for single core performance and u have RTX 4060Ti wich is a high end gpu
and u should get solid frames on max graphics
I'm using the same CPU with a 4080 and 1440p, I should probably upgrade my CPU at some point 😅
Ryzen 7 5700X + RTX 4060?
Is there a bottleneck here?
yo, im looking for a motherboard that fits well with an i7 4790k. any pointers?
They are released almost the same time and year.. so no
gpu
for 1000, your better buying a prebuilt
curryspcworld are most reliable in my opnion
Can anyone help me
with monitor, i bought pre built pc and now i have to get monitor i have budget around 250euro and i need 240hz( In dms i will send everything)
I have a i5 10400 cpu and motherboard with 32GB ram for sale if anyone has any use for it. I upgrade my pc to a i9 14900 last week.
The difference in stats lol
Hello, do you think that with an RTX 3050 and an i7 13th gen processor, the game can run smoothly?
Ye
Hello
I have a question beacuse last week i bought pc and im looking for an monitor now but i cant really get one thing, when i will buy and monitor fo example an AOC 240hz with hdmi 2.0 and i have my pc and where do i plug my monitor? to motherboard, graphics card or where
first pc
My pc cant even fucking run a roblox game dawg
idk what to do
I need ways to make money
Get a job
@lyric osprey Did anyone answer your question?
to the gpu lol
not true
also not true
8gb vram is plenty and will not require any lower graphics
granted you wontbeable to run 4k but the 4090 doesnt even run 4k without dlss
get a 5600x and 4070, or look at minmaxing for am5
depends what resolution and graphic settings. it can run games but a 3050 isnt the best choice.
yes its good
bottlenecks in every pc, impossible to avoid. upgrade gpu first if youre gaming
good gpu means nothing with bad memory
How much RAM do you have
he didnt mention ram. anything over 16gb isnt necessary, but could be bought simply due to how cheap ram is now.. especially ddr4
he has a 2060. 16gb is enough
you dont know if he has 16gb
its ddr4 standard unless youve got a janky prebuilt
most are sold 2x8
he hasnt specified anything so im assuming standard
minimum req for 2060 is 8gb, so we cant assume he is running the recommended
if he has 8gb ram should be the top of his list
he likely doesnt have 8gb if hes running red dead 2
theres a lot of things with minimum reqs that just arent followed due to it being a weird minimum
youll often only find 8gb in prebuilts or extremely budget builds
or ddr3 machines
again, minimum is 8gb to run RRD, and if hes looking to better his pc, its most likey he isnt running it very gppd
very minimum requirements yeah
he is running an i5, so im assuming he bought his pc of someone so its probably a failed pc build
i5 isnt specific whatsoever
hes running a 10400
i5 cpus are plenty for gaming
assuming he has 16gb of ram, he should upgrade gpu.
if he has 8gb, he should upgrade both ram and gpu
yeah but it needs a mid teir graphics card to run nicely
a 10400 pairs alright with a 2060, but he should be upgrading his gpu (+ ram)
cpu can come later
for example a rx 5700 would be okay for gaming
yeah but, he asked for a first option upgrade
which would be gpu, and ram if necessary
depending what ram he has, its important he doesnt crah trying to load a texture
if I may, why do you assume gpu over memory
most people run 16gb. its the most common i find. the only times ive ever seen 1x8 is in people getting scammed with a crappy prebuilt, or in places like colleges that are just trying to make things run
ddr4 can be bought at like £30 for 2x8. granted its corsair vengeance ram.. but its still 16gb
yeah but you also cant assume he lives in england, or the british area, price inflation may strike hard in their area, so ram might be expensive
oh yeah of course, i just used that as a quick example as it was all i remembered lol
alright then thanks for the explaination, sometimes people debate on upgrade of memory or gpu on entry level machines. glad to see your side
haha yeah. it always depends on whats already in the build and its usually already got 16gb, which leads to a gpu upgrade
but yeah, yours too
Hey yall, my friend is building their first PC and they have an incentive to go big with their build, they play demanding games and use their PC commonly. I wanted to know if a build like this looks good and if I should know anything before I order this for them.
don't install more than 2 RAM sticks
dual channel performance with 2 sticks
ideally you want 2
you can get a lot better if you change what youre buying
samsung SSDs are overpriced garbo
get a thermalright peerlass assassin for the cpu cooler
should be same price + its bigger, better and comes with thermal paste
im gonna assume this is USD. ill make a list
also, youd want a 1440p monitor for that build
@brittle junco
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/H3YWRK
motherboard is OPEN BOX on NewEgg
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower
if you want to stick with NVIDIA GPUs then go for a 4080 super. its 90 USD more
if you want a different cpu cooler go for a thermalright peerlass assassin
if youre on a strict $1650 budget then you can save a lot of money and go for a 7600/7500f
or drop the gpu down to a 7900 xt
if you dont already have a monitor and it was necessary to buy then save for a 1440p and change gpu and cpu to 7600 and 7900xt
@lusty hinge Will the peerless assassin clear the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z ram
i dont think itll clear it clean but you can just raise the front fan a bit and itll have space for the ram and work perfectly fine
i use the thermalright coolers a lot, especially the peerlass assassin. great cooler. raising the fan will have miniscule differences compared to it being clipped all the way
Hmm... ok. I have to eat dinner but I'll be back later
I've been procrastinating getting an air cooler and fans for MONTHS bc I am paranoid i will get smth wrong
CPU’s been running hot for months 😅 AIO is old
i7 9700K iirc
ah nice
peerlass assassin should be great then. with a tdp of 95 watts itll be fine
7800x3d has a tdp of 105 watts and runs excellent with air cooling
Any fan recommendations? I’ve got the NZXT H5 Flow, which can fit this, but I don’t know which to put and if I need all of them
hm
depends what youre willing to spend on fans@stuck thicket
id just get a couple thermalright ones tbh
but ill take a look
hm, take a look online for the TL-C12 fans
These? I don’t care about RGB
Does 120/140mm matter
ehh, 140mm will bring in more air but realistically its nothing crazy
if theyre in packs of 3 then yoy can just buy that twice to cover all of the available fan spaces
it should come with a fan hub if yoy buy a multi pack
Thanks for the help
I'll probably buy these tomorrow
Not in a purchasing mood
(idk)
Idk a thing about PC building but I have a friend who does, so hopefully he will be able to help with this
haha fair. make sure you help out a bit so you have the knowledge for future upgrades/builds
its really easy to install though
the fans go on with little clips
you can just move the clip up higher to make room for the ram
the heatsink goes on with a couple screws and standoffs
no problem
does the heatsink come with the cooler
Yeah, the heatsink is basically the passive cooler part of the unit, the fans just attach to it
Fan>heatsink>fan>heatsink
^
those little clips through the fan and on the side of the radiator are what i was on about. you can just move the front fan up a bit for some clearance
Are you saying that 2 x16 is better than 4x 16 or just 4x 8? (Of course 4x 16 is unneccessary, but I would imagine its just as good, just with more unneccessary headroom right?)
2x32 is better
2x16 is better in speeds. in capacity 4x16 obviously wins
dual channel performance is always preferred
But unless its a server rig i thought 4x would run dual channel, just with two stick per channel
iirc its not as stable as standard a1 and b1.
Ah yeah i remember LTT mentioning something about interference
yeah, ive just checked again and they can be janky sometimes
4 sticks of ram doesnt really run well on high frequencies and/or low timings and isnt the best for interference
RAM sticks are in ranks for the motherboard and most motherboards like to have two ranks in a channel
most boards like if you have sticks that are dual ranked in a single channel, or 4 sticks that are all single ranked
8gb sticks of ram are usually single rank which on paper would run better in quad channel, but unless you have specific ram dies and specific motherboards that support a good quad channel, itll be worse
so when using 8gb sticks youd want dual channel
16gb sticks of ram are usually dual rank which runs best in dual channel anyway
Does anyone wanna help me know if I should upgrade or just buy a new pc?
Depends, what are your specs right now?
And what do you want to be able to do on it
Usually worth it to upgrade rather than buy a new one imo but there are exceptions
I7 6700, 1070, Motherboard
MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO. LTD MS-B1061 (U3E1). I want a pc that can work well in the coming years. Budget about 800 euro
Just for the sake of future proofing I would personally suggest buying a newer pc, mainly because the LGA-1151 socket that your cpu uses does not support any current gen cpus or future gen cpus
For a new pc I would lean towards an amd cpu cs of future proofing availability
However if you are ok with waiting a bit until the 15th gen intel cpus a new socket would be available and probably last longer than the am5 chipset will
Gpu wise if you plan on sticking with an i7 or the r5 to r7 range I would suggest a 7800xt for 1440p or 7700 for 1080p
That’s for raw price to performance mainly because of your budget
If you wanted to operate at 4k I would definitely switch to a 4080 super
As the 4090 remains overkill and held back by even the 7900x3d
For your budget 1080p fits
However finding a prebuilt that matches this for your price range is… difficult
If you’re willing to go a bit over
I suggest
Something like this:
I’m not sure about the quality of prebuilts from various vendors, as I mainly make pcs for myself and others
So I would look into this more
@night kayak
@round cliff
i got a question which gpu is better 7900xtx or 480
4080
i could care less about dls
and other things like ray tracing
i just want a powerful gpu
the 4090 is a workstation gpu to be honest waste of money
Honestly at this point it's just whicever you can get at a cheaper price. They're both pretty evenly matched in raster performance and if "extra" features like DLSS or frame generation aren't a priority I'd say just buy based on price, but you'll probably have better luck finding a Radeon on discount than a GeForce
to the beloved steelseries community
do you all know an pc case to recommend that would fit with the ascetic and style of steelseries products?
if its helpful here an list with the steelseries peripherals I want to have next to my steup
- arena 9
- aerox 9
- alias pro
- apex pro
- arquimus pro
- their headset stand
- their mouse bungee
- their boom arm for the microphone
What's the arquimus pro?
thats their webcam I call
that should be the name
already did a little design
but first I will do an 3D model
Couldn't find it on Google :D

once I made an 3D model, ill present it here
maybe if I got the oppotunity, I'll write an AI Face programm for the camera in order to archive greatness for gg engine and if I'm allowed will improve gg on my own and help the programmers making the app better
thats one of my dreams
helping a brand that I like
a big dream I know
7800x3d is better than both 7900 and 7950 for gaming just so youre aware
7900xtx negs the 4080 super in price to performance
Ok
Right now I’m thinking about cpu
I don’t if I should get a water cooler or air cooler
what cpu
For the AMD ryzen 7 7800x3d
air cooler
water cooling for aesthetics but the 7800x3d runs just fine on a decent air cooler
id recommend the peerless assassin
Wym by negs ?
its better
np
Is the deep cool and be quiet are goofy cpu cooler
The price is good
yeah its alright
Bc right now my price build is 1,904
I just put the deep cool ak620 zero dark
It’s 66
nice
what parts is it youre planning on getting
for 1900 id assume 7800x3d and 4080 super
I'm still waiting guys
what exactly does that mean
most of the products are just black with a bit of rgb in it
If compare razer pc speaker and steelseries pc speaker without knowing who is who, you still realize they look different, right? That is what I mean. Their aesthetic
The aesthetic from steelseries
yeah cuz they just look different
EXACTLY
depend, u want a classic case or a fish tank case?
id imagine fishtank for steelseries
could fit some screens in there
would match the apex pro lcd
An "normal" case for an ATX mainboard with the Intel Arc A770
The mother board is a b650 aorus elite
The gpu is a xfx merc 7900xtx
Psw c1000
CPU ryzen 7 7800x3d
1tb
CPU cooler deep cool ak60 dark
just get like an nzxt h5 or h9 or something if you want just a classic
Imagine PC hardware from steelseries like an AIO or an motherboard version with asrock
h9 flow
Sheeeesh
check these lmk if it help or if not send an image for what u searching
HYTE Y70
NZXT H9 Flow
Phantek NV7
Fractal Design North
NZXT H710i
c1000 isnt really a good psu
Thx mate
You're the greatest
theyve got huge premiums on the pricing but thats what you get when you go for aesthetic 🤷♂️
the hyte y70 has a side display, like the oled on the steelseries keyboard, if u dont like or need it go for the others
Alr well then ima change it too the rm1000e
2023 version
found something to your liking?
2000 USD?
Euro
where are u from?
Making a list right away
🇩🇪
yeah i have 22% taxes, a rtx 4070 is like 1k euros
ah so u have good pricing
Kinda...
do u have the list or yet to be made?
with 2k euro probably u can buy a high end pc directly
for 2k youd likely get better value building
yeah
it depends, in italy they selling prebuild pc for 3-4k euros where they real value are like 1.5k to 2k
my friend bought one, the pc dead after a month and the website still is "elaborating a repair ticket"
https://geizhals.de?cat=WL-3782855&hloc=at&hloc=de&nocookie=1
It's still incomplete but I will find the right parts. And the one RAM Cooler is something I want personally and Jonsbo does cheap cooling fans, so...
any preferences? and what type of work u do or need for the pc?
I can also say for what I want to use it if that's OK
- Programming
- 3D Modeling / Design
- Unreal Engine 5
- Music Production
- Content Creation
- Streaming
- Gaming
Want to learn many stuff ( already startet learning how to use blender ) and once it's my Hobby want to getting passively maybe even money if it's possible
how often do you game
i dont know what parts youve been choosing but ive just pulled up my own list and ive got a whole grand left to put into a gpu
Not so often anymore ( only on free days like on holidays or in the weekend in order not to get addicted since I'm handycapped (asd))
do you need wifi?
and white or black?
Both
Yes
I only getting 500kb the second if I download something by my intern
Part List - Intel Core i7-12700K, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
white case and cooler
@umbral bramble
u need 4tb of ssd??
thats 1tb
4tb of nvme is where his budget prolly went lol
he can get some SATA ssds or just add more if he needs
https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/stXQbL i was thinking smth like that but probably i went over budget
Part List - Intel Core i7-13700KF, GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Phanteks NV7 ATX Full Tower
still missing money for the fans
and mybe too much for the psu
bad SSD, PSU and case
samsung ssds are overpriced
elaborate
yeah i know
but when on deal i think is pretty god
psu isn't that great, should aim for an A tier
oh lmfao nevermind, mustve misread
dark power 13 in general no watt limit so i think it is still a tier or i m wrong?
kk
its still significantly more expensive than the one i linked
yeah i know
i was thinking about that
for the case he wanted something particular like a fishtank so idk
if he dont need so much ssd he can buy a 1tb cheap one
then you could go with tl-c12 thermalright case fans
Yes
get 2 2tb nvme
yeah probably the cheapest way
btw what do you think about the next gen CPUs?
saw that intel get rid of multi threading so now less threads and probably the ghz will be lower that the 14th gen cpus, but 2nm and better ipc so hoping for really better performances, or i will probably go amd next gen. (i'm still stuck with ddr4 rams atm)
yeah ik, atm i'm gaming like 10 hrs a day so probably amd
just waiting end 2024 to confirm it
from what i saw q4 gonna be 5080 and 90 and q1 the other ones
just rumors
yeah
but today i read that dell got leaked all their roadmap
so now we know when the next cpu gonna be on the market
not heard it but probably
yeah, i gotta go now, see u ❤️
haha alright, see you 🤞
Hold your bits and bytes
Will be later again ready to chat
Back for the chitchat
(Can't believe you guys actually stopped chatting while I was gone(love you all))
awesome man
let me boot up my pc, im sure you could get 4tb of ssd
did you want a fishtank or were you fine with just the classic tower?@umbral bramble
I'm ok with the classic tower
awesome
Since this is the entirely space I can offer my new setup
Part List - Intel Core i7-12700K, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
just changed the SSDs to 2x2tb ones
No offence
But I want to go with the Arc A770
Right again
And it almost competes with an rx 7600XT
Part List - Intel Core i7-12700K, Arc A770, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
significant price reduction
could probably get a better cpu or different case, cooler or motherboard
I'll look up to it
And don't get me wrong
There is a philosophy I'm chasing (or it's my ocpd that fucking me up)
When it comes to pc parts I want to archive an goal with brands where I only take an limited amount of brands in order to have an better economy and a compatability
i mean at the end of the day its all just hardware
brands for the most part just shell things
like all rtx 4090s are just 4090s with different designs
you dont really want to be using the crappy software they all come with
yesn't, somehow I want to and otherwise I don't
No, when you want to say yes and no at the same time you should say yesn’t
Ok but back to the topic
I'm somehow really fascinated from the idea of controlling your entire setup with one app (the inspiration came from corsair iCUE link technology) and I was like "hey, what if there are other brands doing this similar and offering more performance when I buy more stuff from the same brand
But the reason why I stay away from corsair is because of the community telling me that the iCUE software is garbage and brings the pc most of the time to crash
yeah the softwares rubbish but again
you dont really want any of it
the only one you reallyneed is uhh
cant remember what its called its open source and controls most rgb though
Definitely not from corsair
gib the name
ill take a look for it now
yeah, if u have time i appreciate it, atm i m using like 3 rgb apps and i m going crazy
seems like a softwares from windows 7, no user friendly and un-optimized
kk ty will try
Icue does more than controlling the rgb
you very likely dont need a 1000w
if you MUST have a 1000w try checking out the Corsair RM1000e
yo if you havnt bought anything yet i would check out microcenters intel bundle you can get a i5-12600kf, msi z790-p pro wifi MB, 16 gb ddr4, and a sparkle intel arc a770 16gb for 450$
I'm living in germany. So there is no nicrocenters unfortunately
damn that is actually really unfortunate
We have MediaMarkt, Saturn, Expert Bening
i see
Euronics
welp sorry for the @ lmao
But still thx

no microcenters outside of a couple locations in the US
Yeah I check out
The reason why is because the 7900xtx have a 3 8 pin slot connector or whatever
Oooh, that sounds mad practical!
Hello, who could help us with the settings of the SteelSeries GG because we are streamers but we only speak German LG Bee
The Intel Arc is only getting better with each update. And maybe their Battlemage GPU won't make the same mistake as the Arc GPUs did
intel arc is just simply too far behind nvidia and amd for me to use it
its a great gpu choice line though
not all of them, the reference had 2
OEMs are adding more power requirements to cards for OC
How good of a pc can you build for 800 dollars or euro it doesn’t matter
rx 6750 xt
Does someone know a quite air cooler for my CPU because my is 57-60db loud
I never had a pc in my life lol
Holy nitro
Get a supressor
i know right
Does some one know how to fix this because i think this isn’t supposed to be like that
Fix what?
Like I'm assuming that's your GPU but I don't know what the problem is
I'm assuming Fahrenheit?
Because if that was Celsius I'm 99% sure your PC would be on fire. XD
Considering 96 Celsius is 200 Fahrenheit
I'm assuming this is the strix 980?
Or is it the 380X?
To answer this though, the highest temp you want on nvidia GPU is 80
(Asusming it's the NVIDIA one)
the normal temperatur with an ballasted GPU is 87-90 when its max out
thats the point i get the warnig that the Gpu is too hot
its an gtx 970 from asus strix
only 4gb Grafik Storage
mabey i should buy a new grafik card?
i take a phote when the Gpu reach this temperatures again
my pc is sleeping
you Gpu is sleeping
holy badoonkers please repaste your gpu

the temperatures are NOT supposted to be this high
my pc never exceeds 55 degrees even with rtx support on in games
use hwinfo64
task manager could be reporting the hotspot temperature sensor
damn that PCB flex tho
could be the heatsink separating from the die
That gpu is to the point of exploding, get a new one if u can imo
With these older gpus they tend to use a lot of power. I recommend undervolting it. There is a lot of tutorials on youtube. I prefer msi afterburner to do the undervolting.
ok
sadly i cant because i want todo my driving lisence
undervolt your gpu and clean your pc
older gpus like to use a lot of energy which in turn makes them hot
^
92°C isnt necessarily terrifying, they CAN wishstand it. especially at 100% usage its no surprise its so hot
but you should invest in a new gpu at some point
in the mean time lower any graphic settings on games
it wouldnt be on fire no
get a support bracket
it does matter
markets are completely different
I live in Sweden so I don’t have dollars or euro I have sek. I could spend 10000 sek on a pc which is 861 eur or 950 dollars. Would be happy if someone wanted to help me with that and tell me how much of an upgrade I would get from my current pc
currency conversion isnt really helpful when buying pc components, its alright as a general idea of how much you're spending though
ill take a look online for some stuff for you mate
do you know what parts you have in your current pc? @night kayak
1070, i7 6700k, I could give you more specs if you want? But the only things I could save for a new pc is the storage and ssd
its alright, was just checking to see if anything was worth keeping
My motherboard is probably to bad to keep too
@night kayak https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/YY6qz6 hows this
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, Radeon RX 6750 XT, Antec Dark Phantom DP301M MicroATX Mid Tower
pretty hard to get you on a new socket at 10000, thats the closest ive figured
Thanks man
what to chos an rtx 4070 ti super for 836€ or an rtx 4080 for 853€ ?
(rip my driving licence 💀 )
I have 4070ti overclocked
Only the case doesn’t say anything we need the part list
Send Part List
It keeps saying it’s a link when it’s not
Hello guys, I came across this problem, I set up the microphone through the Stilsries program, I set everything up, but now I can’t hear the discord on the Nvidia recording, how can I fix it, please help me
part list is in the video. in summary, its awful for 1500
stilsries ?
steelseries but probs autocorrected to it. not sure why
yes
@lusty hinge whats up bro i hope ur having a good day
uhh idk but i have a 3070 gigabyte
its really not a bad card when i plays games it runs at 55o c
idk if i should upgrade too a new gpu or just keep because im going to college nezt year and i need a laptop
no need to upgrade yet depending what youre doing
are you just 1080p gaming?@median pulsar
yeah thats what i would
i have enough money for it
but man idk if i should get a amd or intel
because college im going to do work on my laptop
so idk which is better
Do you have a suggestion for something affordable but good?
I don’t know much about computers
whats your usecase
nope but me personally id build it myself for that money. you'd get much better value. prebuilts tend to cheap out somewhere or just straight up give bad parts and up the price
Yes
it all depends on price
and in your case, no. for the price youre paying, they arent 'good'
them specific parts at a lower price?
i wouldnt bother
do you HAVE to go for a prebuilt?
my use case is a ibuypower
i have a prebuilt pc
so
im going to upgrade
my cpu
motherboard
cpu cooler
rams sticks
case
idk what cpu im going to get
i probably get amd because im going to do homework on laptop
definitely do this. you'd get much better out of 1500USD
what do you use your computer for
and whats your budget
i just use it too play games and if i have work then ill do it home work
i dont do video editing
all my things are just ggaming
would be better choosing amd then
Part List - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, NZXT H6 Flow ATX Mid Tower
Does this price make sense?
Or is reasonable
for 106$ you also get 32 gb ram and its cheaper try treden g.skills 32 gb (don‘t have a link at the moment)
ssd isnt the best and you might be better off with AM5 if you're gaming but its alright.
do you NEED nvidia? youd get much better price for performance from a radeon card
its only cheaper by 2 dollars, if he wants the aesthetic which it looks likw its not really anything crazy
yeah but you pay 2$ less and have the Double size of ram you got for 2$ more
he has 32gb already..?
its not standard for ddr5 to be sold at 16gb. but if you look it clearly says 2 x 16gb 6000mhz cl-30
nah i9 is better than amd ryzen 9 but every one have his own benefits
i9 and ryzen 9 says absolutely nothing
i could choose a 100 year old i9 and compare it the newest ryzen 9 and from what you said, i9s better
thats just a naming scheme
Yes for gaming I would recommend the Ryzen 7 5800X3D
why
Experience
am4 chip, dead end. 7800x3d better and is on am5
But I’m using i9 now
but which i9? it again says nothing
Im not that PC pro like you
i wouldnt even bother with the 5800x3d, too expensive for am4. costs almost the same as a 7800x3d.
if you HAVE to choose an am4 cpu, 5700x3d. cheaper, basically the same.
but i wouldnt recommend anyone spend that much money on a dead end platform
9900k
lmfao, fair enough
9900k is great tbf, solid chip
i currently have a 7800x3d and then 2 other 5600x. absolutely solid amd cpus
used to have a 13900k iirc but i sold it
try reinstalling
Hello there guys! Hope u having a great weekend. I need some advice for my setup. I was thinking in upgrading my CPU i've a i5 12600k and replace it with a 14600k. And if not recommend the upgrade ,save more money and upgrade my GPU i've an RTX 3070, was thinking a 4070. What u guys recommend ? If i go for the CPU upgrade will i see some better performance ? Thank you !!
are you gaming? id upgrade the gpu personally
Yes gaming! Thank for the answer !!
If ur gaming my recommendation is if u want to stay too intel then I can say get a i5-14600k if ur on a budget or get the i7-14700k best overall in my opinion for workload and gaming
But for gaming the best one I is the am5 ryzen 7 7800x3d that’s the best cpu right for gaming for workload it’s poopie
I have a 3070 so u can wait for the 50 series that’s what I’m doing
50 series will likely be expensive. it also depends what he wants, budget and when he wants
either way, gpu upgrade
just bought a load of new parts, really hyped for this. zotac white 4080 super, 7800x3d, thermalright frozen vision 360, b650 auros elite ax ice, t-force delta white cl30 6000mhz, king 95 pro atx
It’s was planned next year right?
if i buy myself a amd 5 ryzen 7800x3d will it run fine with my 3070
because i want something match up with it
@lusty hinge
itll run fine, personally id go for a 7600 though unless you also upgrade gpu
but i mean the 7800x3d will be plenty
have you got a part list? @median pulsar
they delayed my 4080 super till saturday is it wraps
Just dropping these links here if anyone has a microcenter near them they have great deals on cpu, ram, and motherboard bundles if you're looking to upgrade or build a new pc
one has intel bundles the other has amd bundles
my glorious microcenter bundles
i got a list of part i got my water cooler from nzxt today and also too sorry but i feel like water cooler are better because u got the lcd screen and other things i like it
air cooler are good but its just not for me
well that doesnt make them better its an aesthetic preference
the LCD is completely unnecessary but i agree lol
i have my thermalright frozen vision right next to me rn
yeah bruh
thermalright and deep cool their nice
i waiting for my ram
and then im getting a amd ryzen 7 and then my motherboard
from aorus
Does anyone know how to raise the volume of the Arctis Prime headset?
This is my case idk if I should change it or not
So what’s going to happened is I’m getting a aorus b650 mb
And a AMD ryzen 7800x3d
Is that good or change it @lusty hinge
you dont really need anything more than a b650
7800x3d and a b650 go well together
i was gonna get the AX Ice b650 but 🤷♂️
Does anyone know?
is there not a dial on the side of it?
or try raising the volume on windows
surely its not quiet if you're at max
There are 2 wires
Should I change the case
Or naw bc I want to get the next h5 flow
its not necessary but if you can afford to then sure
id recommend something like the 903 max
4080 super and ram kit arrives today
https://geizhals.de/wishlists/3818200
rate the setup
Not bad
I got a question if I can’t get amd for whatever reason what should I get
Intel core i7 or i5
depends on how many threads and corns your usages will take and how fast you want your pc. i7 is better than i5, but it will be more warm and takes more electricity. besides amd is better in multicore than intel, since they focus singlecore
really weird. why do you have a ram cooler? why do you have a sound card?
you also dont need an aio for a 7800x3d
because 1. the ram cooler looks cool and 2. I need better sound quality for music production
and i can of course swap to an air cooler
if youre using headphones the sound card means virtually nothing
the ram cooler is completely unnecessary
its basically a waste of money
just get rgb ram if you want it to look cool
if youre swapping to an air cooler get a thermalright peerlass assassin
or something similar
the case isnt the best for airflow and only comes with 2 fans. check the price on a 903 max or a 903 base
🤞
changed it, how is it now?
thats a very expensive case + cooler
I will buy it october (my birthday)
better for air flow
you can swap it there in that case to a mesh front
as such as for the top
awesome
ik, right?
haha yeah
im on PCPP now. although considering youre buying it at a much later time id just use this as a general idea
@umbral bramble
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 GRE, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower
better gpu. cheaper ssd. better airflow
also has rgb ram as you said you wanted it cooler
it should be much cheaper than before

intel cire
intel core
yeah i know. but what one
Hello guys, is it okay for an AIO to have its tubes placed like this?
I heard that it's best for the tubes to go only down, so that no air bubbles form. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
its normal
Alright, thank you!
