So, if you go for gaming, and don't need the massive amounts of ram, go for at most 64gb of DDR5 over 2 sticks at 6000
It'll be cheaper and better perf

Further, if you don't need those 8 non 3DV cores, go with a 7800X3D, you won't need to run a background program, memory timings tend to be way better and it's just cheaper

Further, I don't think there's use to go with an 8TB NVMe, your read and write times will massively deteriorate, and if this one breaks, you loose it all
I also think like, 2 4TB's are cheaper, and even then I don't think you'll need that, unless you need storage for workload type things
Lastly, see if you can find something else than Asus, they've been very bad on warranty lately, and I don't think there's been an improvement

Also the 4090 still runs a PCIe 4.0 connector lmao

Yes, they do. The lower resolution you're running, the more impact on the CPU. Therefore, if you have a better GPU, you should run on a higher resolution.

For example, if you run an RTX 4090 with an Intel Core i5 13600K, you would get bottlenecked at 1080p, and a bit on 1440p. However, at 4K, you would experience absolutely no bottlenecks at all. This is because as you go higher in pixel density (PPI) or resolution, your GPU has to render more, resulting in the occurrence of bottlenecks. i know it's not really what you're asking for but i recommend waiting until you can gather a bit more cash so that you can get quality wireless peripherals
the aerox 3 is good for a mouse but you'll be really skimping hard on the rest of the peripherals, skullcandy is generally not going to last as long as some of its better built counterparts

wireless stuff is usually more expensive so it's hard to find a good wireless components that are also high quality

coincidentially steelseries is a good brand for headphones, but at risk of being banned logitech is also a really good brand and they do have some cheaper wireless options

and usually with both steelseries and logitech you get a mic attached to them

RODE is a good brand for microphones and i believe they have a wireless mic but they are pretty expensive

most of the wireless mics you find that are cheap will be what is considered "off brand" which only means they're not as popular

you should expect to spend around $150 on a solid wireless mic; there are wireless mics in the $50 range but i cant speak to their quality

if you must have a standing microphone that is the one thing i would recommend be wired if nothing else

it also lowers your potential expenditure

the yeti snowball is a good starting point for someone that's looking to get their first steup, it's around $40

the sound quality isn't like studio level or anything but it's a solid mic that works and is made well

the entry microphone from steelseries is $180, $150 on sale rn, so that's why i didn't recommend it despite being in this discord

and if your headphones absolutely must be wireless as well there are options, but with around $90 left we're really toeing the line so I would recommend these for headphones

for longer loads like gaming the amount of water wont really matter but for short term stuff it will matter more as more water=more thermal mass and therefore it will take longer for the system to heat up.

basically you can keep your system quieter if you are only using it for short periods or light loads, but wont really matter for gaming and rendering
