Alright, thanks! so can I add you?
does this happen often? or is it just today?
makes sense.
Seems like a lot more today
It has become more prevelant last few days
.
Which CPU coolers better the thermalright phantom spirit/ peerless assassin or Noctua NH-D15S?
which cpu?
Ryzen 9 7950X3D
hell nah
you need a 3 fan aio
noctua is 100 euros
with 100 you can get a better one liquid
Will that fit in this?
Dm me and we'll figure which
Can you give me some recommendations?
Alr
Ok
I'd go NH-D15 if you have the money
The 7950X3D doesn't run as hot as the 7950X
So you'"ll be more than fine
Plus the reliability and support from Noctua is quite great
Should I buy amd ryzen 5600x or intel core i5 13400F?
What budget do you have and do you have one of the compatible boards?
I havent decided a budget and i dont have a board
Then you need to give both to know what you should get
Wdym give both
You need to give a budget to know what you can afford
because a CPU alone won't do much
About 1300 euro
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
I think i will buy amd ryzen 7 instead
is this pc good https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6RzDbK
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Lian Li LANCOOL 216 ATX Mid Tower
what do you mean
why
but there the same parts
im building it myself
Amd ryzen 7 5800X3D is too expensive, which other CPUs are good?
Is amd ryzen 7 5700x good?
Or amd ryzen 7 5800x?
@atomic yarrowWhat is your budget for the PC you want to build?
About 1300 euro
def go AMD cause they're a bit cheaper
Ryzen 7 5800x should be fine
just make sure you know what you're doing.Be sure to get the right motherboard that's compatible with that generation CPU
research every hardware part you plan on buying and read reviews
compare other online stores to see which one has the best deals, some could be having a discount sale on certain parts you're looking for
Is amd ryzen 5 7600x or amd ryzen 7 5800x better?
I gave you a whole pc
Like every single part you would need
For that price
Yo! Gonna get a £400 bonus soon what do you think I should upgrade? And what shall I do with the old shit?
Iām really keen on direcx 12 and the whole lumen/nanite but idk what i can do with Ā£400
I could also upgrade my cpu but would have to get a different motherboard with a new socket so idk what you you think?
CPU
Dependant if you want Intel or AMD, you should be able to find a cheap combo
AMD is soon coming out with a 5300, which will have really good bang/buck boards available for it
Otherwise a 13100 with a decent B series board
Although those boards tend to be more expensive, and so far we see, the 5300 is overclockable with PBO
Actually lemme look if I can find something more powerful soon
Iām happy with AMD as long as it works with Nvidia cards which Iām 99% sure they do. Il have a look at that chip when it comes out itās sounds good! My CPU is definitely lacking and always at 100% so it would be nice to free up some power so good idea!
I'm gonna look for a 7600 board combo
Are you in the US?
Wait
Nvm
UK
I'll look around
Yup UK!
And thanks! Iv had a look and I know a fair bid but when it comes to motherboards Iām clueless. I ideally want 2 M.2 slots unless there is a way to transfer things off my current SSD onto a bigger one in the future
Sorry it took so long, do you have an ATX case?
If so
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
This is sub 400
Really good combo
You might need to spend on the cooler
I mean, DDR3 is as well kinda old now
What parts could i get with 400⬠as a first time build
A board an an APU if you want to game
Getting it with a dedicated GPU is unlikely
Ryzen 7000 with APU is apparently coming out soon, but not out yet
NP! And yeah!
Then the link is good
I got a cooler thatās birlliant already on assuming it would fit
Ik! Ram is dirt cheap though
Exactly!
Ah gotcha!
Brilliant thank you!
Yeah, np
What budget do you have?
guys please i need help dm if you can its about the rgb fans
hey i need a 400 (CAD) - 600 (CAD) buget build
i need an opinion, should i upgrade from a 3070ti to a 6800xt or just keep the 3070ti
keep the 3070ti
i feel nvidia has better updates and softwares
got it
40 series or 3090
Keep it
If you had a lower performing card
You could upgrade, but it's not useful in this case
Not to the same extent
What CPU do you have again?
So
You have no pc?
Okay
.
Here
I suggest a 5800X3D because gaming performance is a lot better overall
Also the motherboard will need to chance and AM5 boards haven't been the cheapest
depends on the lifetime expected of the system, and the A and B boards aren't too bad price wise
7800X3D has a big difference in performance on latest GPUs potentially, which while won't affect a midrange build today, if they are planning 5-6 years for PC use, a GPU upgrade or 2 would feel the difference without needing a whole new system
They are
200+ for a decent one
And I don't suggest getting A if you want to game at all
And the 7800X3D doesn't properly fit into the budget
Hence I suggested it
The platform won't get drastic new generational leaps
But AMD has proven they won't stop supporting it
And the boards are cheap
You get a really good B one for 100 bucks
ah, I was looking at a nice X670 for like 180, but for a budget build thats significant
That X670 is probably lacking in a lot of features that a B series equivilant would have
Unless it's on sale
it was on a good sale, very nice gigabyte board
granted, I went overkill for my personal build (use it for work too), but budget building is TOUGH today either way
hey guys.
would it be worth it to change my motherboard if I currently have a standard HP one?
It depends
Why would you want to chnge it?
Also, check if they didn't put proprietary bs in there
Because OEM's like to do that
when building a PC, why no keyboard/mouse/headset spec? š
that takes a lot of budget tbh
when someone says <X dollar is my budget>, does it normally exclude keyboard/mouse?
That's a minority
Because if you don't hve it, why complain?
There are people that have them
and generally, a decent keyboard + mouse can be found for under 100
A decent cheap one

Can someone recommend me a pc under 900 dollars I got keyboard mouse and everything and monitor I just need the pc
What for?
but yeah @weary flame is the best person you can ask about that (from my experience).
Yes
One sec
I assume gaming?
Part List - Intel Core i3-13100, Arc A750, Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower
This should be around 900
The Intel card has become really solid
So don't worry about that
You can probably cheap out a bit on the board, if you want
jesus christ u're fast
No, I have a couple of presets
Oh ok. Fair enough
It's easier to keep some than remake them
isn't the 6000mhz ram a bit overkill tho?
wait actually... it allows future upgrades ig
lol
I probably used some old
Like an old template
@agile bridge cheap out a bit on the ram, like 5600 if you don't hit under 900
Otherwise, the ram that's in there is really solid DDR5
Doesn't change the point
I didn't know you were referring to that case
And it, like I said, just doesn't matter
It doesn't change much
how much do you want to spend
How do you know when to update your MOBO?
Why would you upgrade your boeard?
The only reason you would change your board is when you need more IO
Or if you have a k series chip on Intel go to Z series
Things to remember, Motherboards are the foundation of your build. In some ways, the most important part. Think of it as the base of everything. I made the grave error of using n Asus X670E Crosshair Extreme in my system. I ignored 30+ years of building experience and brazenly brought the Primo flagship modelāsix months of troubleshooting and still problems. Who cares what it can do if it crashes unexpectedly at the most unpredictable time? It can run full tilt, at full workload, and crush it for hours or days, but then sit idling, go T's up and die, or in the middle of an intense game, crash at the worst time. No predictable pattern at all.
I've already RMA'd the board. So much money was wasted; buying a mobo is like buying a car. Never buy the first-year model or 1st generation of anything. Let someone else be the guinea pig.
Precision Boost Overclock
It's an auto OC tool and quite solid
Won't be the same as a manual fine tuned OC, but it's better than nonr
I'm fairly confident you just got a bad board
The only thing I've heard from Asus regarding AMD is the overvoltage and their awful help service
What's also possible is that your ram is clocked too high for your CPU, someone I know has had that happen
Anyone know if this is worth $970, as Iām looking for a pc thatās cheap and can pull some sim games (Truck sim, farming sim etc)
Currency in dk?
Yup. Itās around 6299 dkk
Itās currently on sale though; 7499 dkk before
Whatās that?
Nope, I donāt. Havenāt even heard of it
We have one yea
they do have good sales too
Upgrade the board if possible
Iāll take a look at it, thanks
And the cooler
Can I ask which part the āboardā is? I have no knowledge of pc.
Any of these boards worth it?
Both should be fine tbh
do u guys know a build good for valorant only 400-500 dollars?
Buy used
Premade or that you could build yourself
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
It's a higher tier?
And this also has a better CPU
Why won't you buy it...?
What XD
ASRock is solid too
I
Don't know why you don't just change the GPU out either
how do you get gifs? not on discord though
š
you ever had issues with your mic picking up audio from your headphones?
struggling with mine ik its wrong chat but no ones answering in the other one
I donāt have problem with that, but I donāt use Steelseries headphones
@pulsar fossil it's been going on for a bit, think this goes overboard, no?
I agree
Thanks for the ping
Thank you Lennart
hey i need a new gaming laptop that will also function as a good school laptop anybody got any good suggestions?
Hmmm what games are you playing
mostly valorant and block ops 3

Acer Nitro
is the 5800x worth it? or should i just go for the 5600x
It depends on your budget and if you have a board for it
If you have enough budget, just get the 5800X3D
@pulsar fossil just pinging to be sure this is seen
Ty
Thank you, the replacement board does the same thing. I downclocked everything, set manual voltages, and even set voltage ceiling limits. Even RMA'd the ram to gskill and cut back to 2 ram sticks. Right now, nearly everything has been replaced and that overvoltage issue is a much bigger problem than online really shows. The ceiling limits sitll fluctuate a little past, everything has to be set far enough below that 1.35 line that the fluctuation can't get close.
My AM4 platform was and still is rock solid but this AM5 build was a nightmare. I will be sticking with Gigabyte or MSI again next time. Have you seen some of the content creators videos about certain motherboards?
I didn't really want to get off topic. The point of my share was not to air frustration but to demonstrate importance of selecting a solid and well "reviewed" motherboard.
But, does it work better?
It's better but still not perfect. Thank you.
do u guys know a build good for CSGO only 500-500 dollars?
the most you're gonna get for 500 dollars is integrated graphics (which you don't want tust me)
Clearly not
Wait, let me check

Links in spoiler
@clear ridge
600euros = 668 dollars
If you want lower, you can probably find on ebay a Ryzen 3 3300x
Benchmark :
Forgot about Radeon gpus tbh
Why?
Cuz I'm a Nvidia fangirl
So that doesn't mean anything
Just go for AMD, Chaper for same performances
At least, if you don't need RayTracing
I just forgot radeons were cheaper
I go for nvidia cuz rtx and the drivers aren't a pain in the ass to install
Drivers for Radeon aren't pain too
Maybe my next build I'll do radeon idk
you have to question yourself "Does i need RayTracing?'
No -> Radeon
Yes -> RTX
P much
I bought my first desktop three years ago (HP Envy Desktop TE01) it was prebuilt and i'm finally in a position where I can upgrade it, however the store I bought it from no longer sells it and i'm wondering if I should upgrade it for gaming or just leave it as is and buy something more up to date"
Depends on what parts you have
what is integrated graphics?
Thx :)
english only please
Why ?
Been on radeon as long as I can remember, never a major issue. Nvidia I had in laptops and dear god bumpgate on my 8600M

what gpu's that i could partner up with the motherboard A320m a pro
What's your CPU?
just ryzen 3 3200g
What's your budget?
just under 120$
Arc A380 is the best I can give you
can rx580/570 will do? also thanks for the recommendation
didn't know about a380 but yeah i'll hold on to it, thank you so much
What's a good budget gpu that has 2 display ports/I can have 2 screens connected to it?
I think so
ok
6600
It's a bit overpriced
Especially with the G SKU CPU
How much worse is a 6570?
A what?
SAPLOS Radeon HD 6570 Computer Graphics Card, 1G, GDDR3, 64 Bit, 2 x HDMI, Video Card, GPU for Desktop PC, PCI Express 2.0x16, 60W Low Power
Since I'm wanting a 2nd monitor but I need to upgrade so that I can have two HDMI ports
So how much worse is this @weary flame?
Oh a lot
Damn
I really want a budget gpu with 2 HDMI ports š
Any the most I can spend is probably around £100
You're not gonna find much
Damn
Unless second hand
I found out my current gpu can do it
bleh
I used to run a HD6670 until 2020...
who would've thought that after that, I'd have an RX 480, and now, this.
It's good
If possible, go with Ryzen 7000
is a i712700f good wiht a 3070
does someone knows how to change the rgb of the rtx 3070 ti ?
Doesn't that depend on which company you have it from? Asus/gigabyte etc
Yeah
Get a k if you get a Z series board tho
Hello there guyss!! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU . I've a RTX 3070 with a i5 12600K.
I was looking for a 3080ti, 4070 ti or a 3090.
I play on 1080p 200HZ monitor.
Wich one u guys recommend ? TY !
your setup isnt getting you 200fps @ 1080p?
Depends on the game and the graphics quality
I don't think you really, would need anything....?
Otherwise, uh, 4070ti?
It won't have the back vram thing of the 3090
But you probably could get a better CPUand see more of an improvement
anyone got a build for 1650 usd? idc about looks cuz it wont be in my pov it can be plain black, i dont want to pay extra for looks; more info: i play on 1440p and i will be using 2 monitors 1 for game 1 for spotify discord etc, and i play mostly fifa and single player games like doomE and evil west, and i also play vr games like vail and assota corsa (the car game idk how to spell it correctly); lmk if you need for info and i will tell you! thanks in advance ā¤ļø
@pulsar fossil hey lennart, it's been a minute, how ya doing?
I figure yuou can see why I'm pinging you
Hey! Busy at work but can't complain. Never thought I'd be working on an official stream for a game :D
But yeah, it's gone :)
Pretty good :)
Thanks!
does anyone know get cheaper import fees and shippin gwhen ordering from amazon.com to norway
Nope
I suggest to order from within the EU
You shouldn't have to pay for import, just transport
Norway is not in the EU afaik
okay
Is my radeon hd 6350 bottlenecking my I7 870 lol
yes
i mean with those only u can play cs 1.6
Lamo
Nah cs go works fine
Except war thunder
Kinda
Its my first time doing anything to do with building/upgrading a PC and i wanted to double check with some people that know their way around this stuff, I'm planning to upgrade my pc soon as I bought a prebuilt one a while back that has been alright, will these parts work well with eachother?
MSI B550 GAMING GEN3 Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Processor
MSI GeForce RTX 3060
16GB DDR4 RAM
If im missing any info/parts let me know
Try to get a 5800X3D if that's within budget, and a 6700xt
The 6700xt is, imo, more preferred
It has performance on par with the 3070, except RT which is still close, and it is not far from the price of a 3060 iirc
how about PSU ? does cpu comes with kit? for me its pretty the same setup, but its GEN3 PCI i would recommend GEN4 for full performance. Still works fine. But idk if MB supports ryzen 7 tho.
nvm it works
oh and dont bother with GEN3 thingy is just marketing i checked it has full support of pci 4
its good value and beats 3060 in perofmance but life span is shorter :/
ye
The lifespan will be the exact same if you get it new and take care of it
Gpu's don't decay
They're not food
well under intense temps it can
And those temps have to be in excess of 100°C
And even then they don't tend to decay
They tend to straight up die
yes, but idk
The lifespan of a card does not matter
What does is its performance
I'd rather take a card 3 years older that has better performance and still has support if it was the same price, if not cheaper
Just get a 6700xt
It's just a lot better
It's nearly the same age as the 3060, it has 3070+ performance and still gets bios updates constantly
bios?
Dw about that too much
It's a card that will keep being relevant for at least the next 4 years from how Nvidia and AMD are pricing things
Did you get this from pcbenchmark perhaps?
Is there any like rtx card i should get instead of a amd rx 6600
aight. I want to buy a pc later this year, or build one. I know I want Intel i5-13600KF. Should i go amd or nvidia as far gpu goes? Budget for everything is around 2k. I am completely dumb when it comes to hardware
Is this for gaming?
If so, I have a build with a better CPU, unless you need Intel for quicksync
hey can anyone help me pick parts for a pc build? i am not experienced in this field and i need a new pc for game and movies and browsing the internet, please ping me if you can help.
Budget you have?
1650usd, and I don't want to spend money on looks since it's gonna be on the floor and out of my view so no RGB or any or that extra money things
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
Thius is a baller PC
I can look for a better GPU
It won't do much, but it'll still be better
Much appreciated
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6750 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
This one actually
If it's within my budget than please do
Thank you very much š
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6800, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
Here
6800xt
YUou'll be fine with this card for a long time
Thank you
now i just need to find the parts beacuse the retailers in my country dont have anything lol
which country you're in?
hello, the best pc for 860$?
oh wow, SSD prices are crazy low
They are
2 TB for under 100 at cheapest
The Samsung ones are 110?
And that's gen 4
Just buy a ps5 with some gear if you only have a budget of 860
You cant make a good pc for so little
Actually you coudl get something decent with 860
Its a budget ofc but if youre looking for specifically some of the features to get with pc gaming then it can still work and run games on low settings
I think a 5800G would do fine
Otherwise you can still wait for the Ryzen 7000 APU ones
Part List - Intel Core i3-13100, Arc A380, Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower
I do have this
it's capable
Far from the greatest
But you get it
so what u want to do, is, left click your user name, and press that red button named ''leave the server'' thank you!
I helped him with that
AMD= š© , Intel = š»

Look for a 2TB SSD, if it's not much more
Otherwise it's good
I have no reference for price tho

Does this include shipping?
And is this also a prebuilt?
no i built it
no ive actually built it in the shop and collected it from the shop so no shipping and no building fees since its my friends shop
Ah
Fair
Check if a setup with a 7800X3D and 6800xt is possible
6700xt is also good, but I checked pcpartpicker for UAE and don't see it
check on dubbizle
I will when home
Congrats
Nice pc
Damn that's a lot of fans
7
Should be 10 total
Why should there be 10?
The rad?
based on what?
pcbenchmark
||what models were tested?||
Oh no, it's a really bad site
English only please :)
You will not use Polish, you will use English as per the #rules :)
And please stay on topic. Thank you
Am very new to know about how to build pc can you please recommed some what should i buy and how to build it please and using this pc only for gaming
it depends on your budget
What's the budget you have?
i wanted a top end build only for gaming budget isnt a problem
CLEAN YOUR SETUP.
Calm down
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
Here
Idk if you have a monitor or windows OS
Will look into it thanks berry
Can I suggest a used samsung galaxy 5?
Uhh you could get a raspberry Pi 400 for under 200 but it's not so good for bigger games. Source: I have one.
guys does this looks fine https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8q86h3?
Part List - Intel Core i9-13900KF, GeForce RTX 4090, NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower
If this is for gaming, I suggest the 7800X3D
Otherwise maybe get a second M.2, it's not a requirement, but it's nice if money isn't an issue
i already got it xD
(the pc not the second m2)
but im planning on getting another m2 if needed
First generation core i3cpu , some crappy old mobo from china and a gtx 750ti idk
And for ssd get a 16gb chinese thing and dor the case who needs case its 2023 who need case alright psu again a cheap chinse trash
And some 128mb ram
Ooooooh, yeah, fair
I was just saying so that you have a loty of storage, you clearly aren't going for price/performance
Do consider that 7800X3D if this is pure gaming tho
Best CPU out there.
Ye that looks great , congrats
very nice, what u doing with the old pc ?
uh question im new to pc stuff and i wanted to get one built but idk what a decent CPU or GPU would be
What is ur budget
5600 or 5600x and a rtx 3060 would be a pretty good combo idk? im not a pro or something to pc building
Get a 6600(xt) over a 3060
Cheaper and better performance
But you can do better dependant on budget
my father's friend who owns a computer store sold it for me
Hi, some french can help me ?
If you give me a budget in your currency, I think euro, I can give you a parts list that works well
does anyone know the best 1500$ list of parts for a pc

This is mine.
H9 Flow really best

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
Should be around 1.5k
Nice system but I wouldn't prefer an AMD graphics card. When I was using 6800, I was very bored of dealing with the WATTman problem, and instead of Arctic LF II 280, it is better to buy 240 because the 240 version gives better performance than 280. I didn't ignore these things because I was doing this job, but still Arctic is always a very good brand in my opinion. Other than that, I think AM5 is not good for now. It creates problems for users like the early days of 3D. I think it would be better to wait a little longer. āļø
So
- which issues? gen question
- 280 will always be better at dealing with heat than the 240
- AM5, and especially X3D are mostly solved, I have specifically selected boards that aren't Asus to circumvent the BIOS update thing
Otherwise, switch it with a 7700x, it won't have the same memory issues, is cheaper and will allow an upgrade path for later, while still having high performance in workload and gaming
Nice, nice
YOO
He probably bought/built it :)
How can i buil a PC like that ?
There's lots of guides on YouTube :)
How much that cost ? For a good PC
Depends on your needs
You should probably ask the person that built it if you want to know how much it costs
How much it cost ?
2300 euro ?
Canadian Dollars
How much is it on euro ?
That's what Google is made for :)
What is Google ?
what is world
What is me ?
What is?

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4090, Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower
Get another board and GPU that isn't Asus, they have had a recent track record of just, very bad customer service, and their products tend to have some faults that you sorta need it for
For the board specifically, you'll need to do a BIOS flashback if you don't want your CPU to die, this is an Asus thing, I suggest board from vendors like MSI or Gigabyte
Iirc, the AMD Taichi is a really good board
Further, I have no idea how good Antec's PSU's are, however, I think I can find a higher rated one from a reputable brand that I know, for the same or less
also I am partial to the Fractal North and the Liquid Freezer 2, but both are more me being impartial. Although the Liquid Freezer 2 has great performance
the psu is just a placeholder
the one i was going to use isnt on the website for some reason
Which one, if I might know?
Sharkoon Rebel P30 Gold 1300W
Fair ig
I suggest uh
SeaSonic def, Corsair makes decent ones
EVGA
SilverStone too
ANyway, one thing I strongly recommend, is change the motherboard out
The GPU could be fine, because the only caveat is the costumer support
But the board can be iffy
13600kf
ASRock | Z690 PG Riptide
DDR4 3600 Kingbank CJR 16GB*2
Hunter G750W
thermalright 360 Frozen magic
gigabyte 2080TI
Kingbank SSD PCIE 4.0 2TB
ZhiTai Ti plus 7000 1TB
shoebox
what about this one

Go DDR5 at that point
Preferably with a Z790
Idfk the 2080ti pricing
Ig a 6800xt
expensive
What's the amount you're gonna spend on that?
close 1K Eur
That's not used
You can do better second hadn with AMD
A 6750xt probably, which will also outperform a 2080ti iirc
then 6800xt
Either of the two will work
id like Nvidia, bc i need cuda sometimes
Talking used
that's good
And either way, AMD's CUDA core simulations have become so good that, if you don't use it consistently and don't mind the slightly longer time, AMD is better
Especially last gen with price/performance
What a 6800xt lacks in CUDA, it can output in pure compute and whatever they call the thing trhat simulates CUDA
won't be as good probably, but it'll be very close
guys i dont know why the rgb in my laptop not working @loud flower @weary flame @copper turtle
Please don't randomly ping people out of the blue
Me too
Oof
Tbf, if you aren't eternally tired, are you even real
True
can u help me
But @empty shard make a post in #1047622297382567936
And I'll try to help
Include with laptop you have
Anyway, I should be reading for some stuff
But currently too tired and watching Wendell about some server stuff
Because idk
Servers are cool
god Genoa is godlike
Oh btw berry i think i figured out why u never heard of the sharkoon psu, its based in Germany so maybe depending on where ur from u wouldnt know it
I think one of my very first headsets was an awful Sharkoon surround sound headset with multiple drivers
But that's a very very long time ago
I've heard good things about thƩ psu's so giving them a shot
And my mate who works in a pc shop recommended it aswell
I want to buy a pc with a i5 13400f and a 4060ti with 16 GB v ram do you tink that is a god idea?
What's your budget?
And any reason you want an Nvidia card specifically
@weary flame it is a pre build pc and cost 1313,70 ⬠and thad is Exactly waht i have. And Yes it is Import for me to have the invida Features.
Thx for the answer
Why are the Nvidia features important
And fair ig
But this channel is about building a PC
Not buying a prebuilt
get a 3070ti and a i7 may-be better
And a spelling book
Define 'Silent switches' to us.
There are several "quiet" switches
You have to look arojnd
Go to newegg.com and add your parts on the pc builder. I think it even goes as far as filtering the remaining parts that are compatible with the previously selected items. If it does then it will also give you an idea of the other remaining costs.
Pcpartpicker.com will generally be better than the Newegg picker, more places and parts to choose from
Guys i just build her.. but she kinda loud any ideas how to fix it? It's my first time Building so no idea how to fix it
I have nzxtcam
But no idea how to work it
Go to bios, change the fan speeds
i tried that, some of the fans just didnt show up
they're all plugged in properly tho
because they're probably chained
i installed this fan program called fan control from Remoo
and for 2 of my fans it said couldnt pair speed sensor?
Nzxt
Use the nzxt software
i have nzxt cam but only the pump and fan showup not the case fans
how much was it to make it
What is plugged into the cpu opt? Thats usually for the aio or cpu cooler personally id plug pump into its own aio pump and then rest of the fans if their connected to a hub plug that into the fan header not cpu header or cpu opt
What i done for my 18 fans I plugged them into 2 hubs then plugged that into a fan head 6 as that was the neatest for cable managing
Oh i replied to the wrong person sorry bud
@loud flower this was ment for you
My bad was cooking dinner didnt see who i replied too till after
yeahh thats pretty much how i have it set up aswell
i think 2 of my fans just
a bit
yk
small brained
:D
its okay tho i got it setup in a way that my fans only turn on once the cpu and gpu get above a certain amount
just one fan thats always on at 400rpm
but its quiet
I use my motherboard bios for my fans
Hey all just built my first PC
Specs MSI B550m-p pro motherboard
ryzen 5 5600 CPU
32gig klev kras RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
So just wanted to hear if it is a good beginner build
Input is still valued
If you could travel in time and give that PC to me in stead of my actual first PC I'd be super confused about what a gigahertz or multicore CPU was :D
My first PC (not counting gtx 1050 and i5 8th gen laptop):
Msi Rtx 4070 Gaming X Trio
I7 13700kf
32 gigs of kingston 6000mhz ddr5 ram
2Tb Kingston kc3000 m.2
Be quiet pure power 12m 750w nzxt h9 flow white case
Rate it 1-10
Its solid
I would've suggested a 5800X3D, but no reason now that you bought that 5600x just now
Otherwise, what's the ram speed and clocks?
Ram clock speed or CPU speed?
Rack of Glass transistors copper pipes and pressure valves
Guys i have question i build my pc at the time it was a good high end pc. so what tier is it now ande what can i begin with upgrading. specs.
AMD fx-8350 black edition \
8GB ram ddr3
800watt powersupply
videocart r280x or 380x
i play still csgo and old games more.\
not great
if you upgrade the cpu to a modern part you'll have to replace the mobo and the ram at a minimum
you'll want a ssd too if you don't have one
the question is what's your budget and what games are you going to play? if it's just csgo that will run on a lot of hardware, and older games aren't going to need more performance. If you're happy with the performance then no need to upgrade
If you give me a price point you're willing to spend I can send a general build I've made
Like parts list
I have a ssd 250 gb but i play mainly csgo and RuneScape
Price point i can go about 3k at top but i like to keep kost to 1k
I see upgrade kits at azerty and alternate in the netherlands
I know ram is my main bottleneck at the moment
But software wise i cant find it normally with amd looks like prehistorisch nazi memorabilia
Thats why i opt out to look for before i cant do anything to it than look at those parts
Thank you cincerly guys for your help
1k is gonna be low
But one sec
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
This is ~1.5k
Might've gone lower tho
@digital sluice
low? exactly what for? o: coming from an amd fx you dont need a ryzen 7, 5's are more than enough o:
it's my personal experience tho, i've got a 5 3600 since they came out and i dont feel i need anything higher even tho i just got a rtx4060
In price
And
This is a 7800X3D
It's a gaming focused build
but this guy plays old games, why would he need such a beast ?
Just a stupid question do I have to be overstressed that my new PC shut down unexpectedly due to loadshedding cause the loadshedding app says one thing and reality is another

@oblique crane If it happens to often you might start having issues.. rather try get a small inverter that runs your pc
Loadshedding meaning?
We have power cuts 3 times a day equating to a minimum of 6 hours of no electricity in the day it depends on the stage we in cause it can get as bad as 12 hours of no electricity in the day
you'll need a back up plan my friend
get a UPS, just depends how much ur pc takes W and how much u willing to spend one of those
My PSU is a 650w
MY IS 750@!!!!
you can get like 1000-2000+ watt UPS
and also how long you want it to run under said W
š šÆ
Tesla power wall? :D
I mean there plenty of ups and power banks that can handle 6 hours of 650w+. But most of them are ment to shut down PC without corrupting system and avoid surges
wait actually, which UPS has that runtime?
I mean if u want to spend like 10k one of those bad boys go for it
Diesel generator for outside if your super worried
Can get a 50000watts for 10K
Greta thunberg steaming like a coal fuelled train though
nah diesel will cut it no need to start getting greta involved don't want her to be arrested for trespassing
Are cpus packaged well enough that the pins wonāt break even when the ups driver chucks it at like 30 feet per second
Hopefully, those clamshells they come with are pretty good at securing them along with the usual packaging. Just give the pins a good look at to be sure.
Are you in South Africa ?
You are correct
Alr
Iām looking to upgrade my pc, is it worth going to a r7 5800x3d from a r5 5600x?
Currently I have a R5 5600x, 3080ti oc and 32gb ram
not really
Yeah
If you have a board that can use it, it's best for price/performance
Especially with that 3080ti you'll see performance
However
Only do it if you feel the need to upgrade your CPU and have the money
Hey I was wondering if someone can put together a pc for me like the specs I donāt know much about it I just want something with the 3070 and the I9
Prebuilt or custom build?
I'd go with an i7 unless you need the cores
If you have a budget, and are happy with parts that are on par/better I've a couple of things
i9 isdnt even that giid compared to some i7 and even i5s
heya, i have a problem on my recently built pc
i have an arctis nova 1 wired, and a tuf gaming b460 plus
the pc isnt detecting the microphone
Yeah Iām down with the i7
Need tips for new mice, looking to replace my rivals 700 to somting new in similar size wireless whould be very good maybe some one have somting to offer for witch one to look that it would be similar size in hand?
Do you have a budget?
And do you need Intel?
What's the usecase for the pc?
What grip do you use?
Palm, Fingertips, or Claw?
Palm/claw
What do you think about aerox 5?
Probly the only one mice from steel series that i found in shop right now š
depends on how big ur hands are but u could try the razer deathadder v2
im using the mini version of that atm
couldnt be happier with another mouse
Got up to Asc3 on val with it so yano
Hello, I just bought an arctis nova 7 wireless and I have a problem, it is my first time with a steelseries and for some reason I hear all the audio from my microphone in the headphones, even the slightest sound.
Wrong channel, but turn off sidetone in Engine :)
Or on the headset itself as someone said to another user in General channel earlier today..
ok thans
best gaming mouse for big hands?
I have the G502 lightspeed, I'm a huge fan.
Mmm no i donāt have a budget and I donāt really need intel I just heard itās better then ryzen and the use for it is just for gaming
Not really anymore, it depends now from game to game
If you can give me about how much you want to spend I can look through my builds to see what would work for you
i have a 3080 10gb but my pc's specs seem to be bottle necking it, current rig:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
BaseBoard Product B360M BAZOOKA (MS-7B24)
2x DDR4 8GB 1499MHZ 16CL (XMP) Slot 2 & 4
1x DDR4 8GB 1299MHZ 16CL Slot 3
3080 10GB MSI Gaming X Trio
anyone know what upgrades i should get and some reccomendations?
850w i thinl
Yea think ur MB is holdin u back pal
if im getting a new mb should i get a new cpu
i have budget of around 400 - 500$
why would you?
Your cpu is good
idk
what are your options in regards to your budget
I mean
dk tho
if u wanna go overkill u could go for the MSI MPG Z790 Edge
That would work magic with the 9900k
its lga 1700 tho
9900k is 1151
thats really the only issue tbh
since i checked and theres not much point buying a new 1151
- my ram is kinda bad tbh
check dms
Eh.. I should probably upgrade my cpu.. I9-9900k with a 4080
Tf no
Your 9900k is fine
You can upgrade
But it's not needed
This bottleneck bs is just that, bs
You can always upgrade, but there's little need for it
Quick question for peoples thoughts regarding the current pc build. There is a competition at work and the below is the prize for 1st place. If I win, what would you suggest upgrading?
(Mostly only play Apex Legends and MMOās)
GigaByte B760M DS3H AX DDR4
Intel Core I5 13400F
16GB Adata Spectrix D45G DDR4 3600MHZ (2x8GB)
Zotac RTX 4060TI Twin Edge - 8GB
1TB Lexar NM710 Gen4 SSD
AfterShock M42 Frost Cooling
800W FSP Hydro Pro 80+ Bronze
What would you upgrade them to?
I wouldn't listen to such "calculators"
bottlenecking is a stupid term
utilization is different for every application
proper budgeting is what matters
a 9900K is perfectly fine with a 3080
B360 is kinda odd though
it was a prebuilt...
i got it in 2018
didnt know about pcs so i just g ot a prebuilt
i cant fine any better motherboards tho
hey does anyone knows how to fix a windows error, Whea_uncorrectable_Error and unexpected_storage_exeption
First one means an instability somewhere. Either CPU, Motherboard, Storage, or GPU.
If you install an app called BlueScreenView the next time the system bonks itself you can find the exact error codes.
But the second one sounds like your Windows drive is collapsing in use.
o/ im getting new case lancool 215 or corsair 4000d
Woo
Hi I got a question
I want to transport my asus ProArt b660 d4 from us to Europe but Iāve seen much asus motherboards getting their pins bent
So is it safe doing it ?
you just solved the problem i had holy shit Thank you
What was the issue?
Use bubble wrap, air cushions and hope
hard drive
Aha, glad you were able to sort it.
good lord it was the hard drive
Yep, at least that's a cheaper part haha
i say it because my pc is a laptop
and the motherboard almost the same price as the laptop
Yep!
lancool 215 or corsair 4000d case
Go with what you like, I'm partial to the Fractal North
idk but i think u should upgrade psu
i would go with gold 750 idk
cause power efficiency is more important than watts
Not overly familiar with the difference tbh. I sell prebuilt pcs/laptops for a job and Iām one of the top sales people. But never built my own š
theres no noticebly difference its just a bit more heat if you choose bronze
anyways wow people still buy prebuilts
Yeah, a fair few. Seems to be cheaper right now. Compared some of the specs of a prebuilt with the prices online and somehow the parts cost more š¤·āāļø
Hi guys, I've built a PC and it doesn't have any RGB headers. Apparently I can get a RGB controller and connect the fans to that, but all the controllers I've looked at require RGB headers anyways. Do any of you know a controller that doesn't require RGB headers?
There should be ones that plug into a USB header
Yo guys
Please rate my setup
3070 8gb i5 12400f
My first one (console player)
Should I change something or it will be fine for a year at least
good to starting, but adding another 8gb of ram will help performance noticably, but for most things you'll be ok
What do people think of this build for vr?
I'm needing to bring my computer up to the modern era and I was thinking of going with ryzen instead of Nvidia what are your thoughts on the ryzen? Currently still using a 1070
7800X3D, DDR5 6000
Get a 2 TB drive at least
I have an external with 5
Ryzen is CPUs, you mean Radeon
And what amount do you want to spend?
Meant for SSD
2TB is like ~100 which is really good in price for a gen4x3
Thing with nvidia is if you dont keep upgrading and getting new ones then eventually its gonna get outdated to point you cant upgrade witch is why im now needing to spend 1.8k usd for a New pc
As I said I have an external with 5tb so space isnt a problem rn I just need something and then I can upgrade from there
I still think it's worth the investment
My pc rn only has what it came with on the ssd evrything else is on my 5tb
And i have bareley used 1tb
But I would Def be open to upgrading ssd in the future
English only
In your guys opinion what cpu and motherboard should I get for 2560 x 1440 for an Rtx 3090, my current specs are i5 9600k, 16gb ddr4 ram 3600mhz
With 3090 zotac trinity ^
Good enough
Put ram
get ryzen
ryzen 5600x even for 4k good
I was thinking an i5 13600k as I donāt know shit about ryzen
Hi, how do I get a nitro discord?
ryzen better for gaming
They run very toasty donāt they ? I mean the 3090 already hits 83 degrees max that gon make my whole damn room a toaster
3090 you say š¤ ? Well I'm rocking the R9 7950x + MSI B650 TOMAHAWK with a 3070 gaming at 1440p with great frames while streaming on the same system and I would love a 3090 in my rig but I'm about to upgrade to the new RX 7800 xt that AMD just released that's better than the 4070ti and cheaper. I've built custom PC for over 20 years and I'd recommend my current rig to any gamer with the š° available to afford it! (Highly recommend checking out my monitor for 1440p 270Hz gaming)
Full Build w/ Parts Price List š https://pcpartpicker.com/b/gnwzK8
Thatās a pricey ass cpu is that even needed for a 2-3 year old gpu? If I had that Iād probably cop a 4080 or 4090 nothing really less
Settings -> Billing Settings -> Nitro
Rtx 4070 ti was a possible option for me but I got the 3090 for £480 after it got a service (thermal pad and paste) so it was still about 200 less then a 4070ti for similar performance
It is but it's priced pretty fairly considering the state of GPU MSRPs. A 4080 or 4090 would be an obvious choice and great pairing but one can find much cheaper alternatives in the GPU market and still game with plenty of frames at 1440p, like the EVGA RTX 3070 that I still need to upgrade in my personal rig. A common misconception in PC Gaming is that you need a High End GPU to maintain FPS at 1440p when in reality, you're CPU does most of the heavy lifting when it comes to delivering a smooth gaming experience. You can easily game at 1440p with most of the 30 series cards and IMHO, investing in a CPU is the smarter option rather than a GPU when it comes to future proofing custom PCs.
Yeah I suppose that makes sense but in all honesty I just want something that pairs well with it, not something that wonāt really be pushed Iām not streaming on it and in all honesty I donāt wanna blow minimum Ā£700-800 on a processor motherboard and a new cpu cooler as ryzen is toasty, I already got the 3090 in my rig and it runs well just notice in certain titles it struggles on my cpu a lot
What are your temps idle/under load?
Idle on what my cpu ? Or gpu ?
Whatever you're having issues with
Well I notice is certain titles I get 95-100% cpu utilisation and have to ramp all settings up to get the exact same frame rate, wether as an example I run cyberpunk on physco ray traced and ultra ray traced and physco runs at 60-45most of time@and ultra runs at around 50-30

I donāt think itās any issue i think Iām just due an upgrade possibly on some ram and cpu
And also to mention dlss does literally nothing on my pc now as cpu is being pushed to its hardestš
Problem: Hold on, what's this about Ray Tracing? I think I already know you're issue my friend. Lower in-game settings a touch. You're rig isn't meant to run any type of Ray Tracing or 4k gaming.
š Solutions: You're CPU is being bottlenecked by your GPU. The GPU is working too hard to provide 4k/Ray Tracing Textures
š Solutions: **High GPU Temps (>80c) -> Lower In-Game Settings and/or Undervolt GPU (Not Recommended, Can Damage PC) **
Iām running 1440p
Iāll take a look at home mate ty
and I thought 77-83 is normal for a 3090 ?
High CPU utilization can be reduced by closing idle game launchers or other apps. Start -> Task Manager -> Details -> Close Idle Apps.
You can also further optimize GPUs in commonly overlooked in the NVidia Control Panel like Enable High Performance and Prefer Maximum Performance.
PCs are finicky, especially custom ones. Make sure ALL of your drivers, firmware and BIOS are up to date for your Motherboard/GPU/CPU/Fansand always use your manufacturers website for downloads
It's "normal" but not recommended. Try setting or raising your fan curves if you haven't done so.
And I also thought 90 degrees is the safe zone but it bottlenecks the graphics card, if 80-83 is kinda rated by the manufacturer then Iāll likely just keep it at that, fan curves I donāt really know how to do to be honest
And the thing pulls 350w the power efficiency aināt there, was debating smacking a water block on it and then overclocking it but I just bought a 850w psu platinum, 700w bronze really wasnāt itš
Really those are more Thermal Throttle Limits, that's marketing at work rebranding the terms. Place your hand on your GPU at anything over 70c and see how it feels. How do you think that heat over time effects the tiny bits of plastic and metal at a constant 80c+?
You really need to have a fan curve, I HIGHLY suggest looking up a fan curve guide for your specific GPU on YouTube
Yeah Iāll take a look would u say afterburner would be better for it ? Or firestorm
Anything > a 700W 80 Cert Gold PSU is where you want to be
Afterburner
ALWAYS use Pcpartpicker.com to check for compatibility issues for every compenant in your PC!
I noticed even when I was running a 700w bronze rated i sometimes got random game crashes on the psu so I donāt trust it in the slightest so I ordered a platinum 850w and I checked that before š
I think I ordered a Corsair 850i
PCs are incredibly finicky, those crashes could've been related to the PSU or simply driver incompatibility issues. Tough to tell
Can't go wrong with Corsair
Trust me if u saw the psu my mate lended me u would understand, the whole outer metal casing is fucked, I didnāt wannna run the 3090 on my 550w gold rated so lent my mates old one
Also do u think itās worth having more fans I have 3 intake fans and one top out fan and a 1 fan radiator blowing out the back
Hold up Iāll try show
Hey let me know how things turn out with everything @fresh tulip I'm off to go stream finally! I've been adding tons of new assets to the channels and just made the official discord for us.
Appreciate it man !
Anytime ā¤ļø
I don't have Billing Settings
@clear jackal , help me pls
You can't get it for free if that's what you're going for
There was a promo with SteelSeries but that ended in January
Sure
90 degrees bruv?
Cooler then the rest of the computer at that point
