or wait a bit for the 13900k, 4090/ti, and z790 motherboard
yall
i need help deciding between a 3070, 3070 ti and a 3080
i already have a 5800x
my parents tell me that the 3080 would be unnecessary, but i want as little bottleneck possible
(for 1440p 144hz)
also theres the added longetivity of the 3080
whats your budget
enough for the 80
Any rtx titles?
i do care for raytracing, thats why i want a rtx
what's the best value for a 2k budget (prebuilt is preferred since i have no pc building experience)
Gotta start somewhere with pc building
also i wanna get fh5
Otherwise it's a vicious cycle of never building yourself
I wouldn't bother with the 3070ti
is it cheaper to build yourself or more expensive
like for the same pc would it cost less if i bought all the parts and built it myself
Get a 3070, sell it later when 4000 comes out if you don't feel you have enough performance
Depends but generally building yourself has better performance for the same price
ok
ty
Better components, airflow, and you get to say you built it yourself
On the flip side, it's not a unified warranty
Same goes for tech support
also i kinda want the better longetivity of the 80 bc ill keep the card prolly like 5-6 years
maybe even longer idk
Then get the 3080
it's really not that hard to build a pc
Should I get the asus 240hz or alienware?
Specific monitor models would be helpful
And what you want to use it for
Asus Tuf VG259QM and Alienware AW2521HF
how do i set a fan curve so my fans dont ear rape me when playing games?
is it wise if i use 2 RTX 3090 ti
for what purpose
Which one is better for picture quality
What gpu is worth buying
1 is already enough for everything somewhat, a second one is a waste of money in my opinion
zhiza
they didn't say anything about sli
there are legitimate multi gpu workloads, just not gaming
3090/3090ti are really workstation cards anyways
nvidia marketed them towards gamers but the amount of vram implies otherwise
i do suspect that the user was trolling anyways
but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
does anyone have good sound settings for artic 7p+ for valorant ??
gtx or rtx
?
who tryna play fortnite
both are good value but rtx is better due to longer term driver support
ty
i think there is a preset in the sonar software
i need tips on building a pc
i dont know. im completely new to this
what part are you on right now
ah
hold on ill help you in a few minutes
ok
are you buying prebuilt or building custom?
i like that approach
wdym
figuring out what they're trying to do with it, their budget, etc. is the way i'd approach it
yea
gaming and editing my youtube videos
what kind if games?
mainly FPSs, and a couple large RPGs
and your budget?
i would probably go with either a 10/11th gen intel core i5, or an amd 5/7 3000 series
why last gen
…in english please? 😂
there's perfectly reasonably priced zen 3 and raptor lake
hold on
You can build a rtx 3060ti pc or a 6750xt pc
alr im back
r5 5600 is 150 at newegg
Noice
i don't see a point in getting zen 2
But the amd ryzen 7000 series will be ain't cheap at all
i dont know about wherever you guys are, but gpu's are still expensive
you mean the 5700x?
But it will be announced soon
If you gonna buy a high level gpu like 6800xt or rtx 3080 you can wait more for new gpu relases
But if you gonna buy a entry or mid level gpu like rtx 3050 3060 or 3060ti or amd 6600xt
Like rtx 3070?
also, considering they don't even know any of these cpu names
like all of them
probably good to go back to the basics and have them watch a generalized pc video
Thanks to Seasonic for sponsoring this video! Buy a Seasonic TX 1000 PSU today at https://geni.us/aryiquT
We’ve done plenty of build guides before – But now we’re taking it to the next level. Not only will you know how to build a PC, you’ll know how to build ANY PC – This is the LAST guide you’ll ever need!
Discuss on the forum: https://linust...
true
something like that
i liked tech sources video
That's not how it works
and yet it is
yet there all way too expensive or are out of stock
you should really watch some videos first
Bro are u gonna build a mid range pc?
static content like that will get you the basics
yea
dunno what that means
i learned a lot of what i know from youtube
then when you need something that's not generalizable, like a build to fit your needs, then come ask us
their budget is 1500
is you computer gonna be potato, ok, or really good
don't worry about the classification of the pc
mid range, high end, that's just names. varies from person to person on what they consider high end
I mean a pc of Middle gpu middle cpu and 16gigs of ram and a one ssd 2 hdd's
what they're willing to spend is concrete
ah ok
but i would start with a prebuilt pc if i were you, building a pc is risky for a first time
what company if i do that?
you're always going to have to build it for the first time...
doesn't matter if you have a hundred prebuilts and then your first custom or zero and then your first custom
but if he clearly doesnt know what any of these words mean
so starting with a pre built and learning
if he's buying a prebuilt, he also has to look at all those terms
because sometimes you think you're getting a pc for a good price, but if you realize you've been ripped off, you'll suffer a lot, so I think you should build your own gaming pc
but thats so much easier than actually putting it together
@regal folio pls don't buy a prebuilt pc
putting it together's not hard, but ok
There's a better options than a prebuilt pc
my bro is into computers and he says building one myself requires me to update it as time goes on
i mean
software wise, it's the same for prebuilts and customs
you need to update software regardless
oh
and same with hardware, if you want better performance you need to swap out parts
yea
once you buy either one, it's not like they're that much different in terms of maintenance
where it does differ is warranty and sending it back to one place if there's an issue
and that is a pretty good reason to buy a prebuilt, for someone who isn't computer savvy and doesn't intend to be
could you help me look into parts that would work together so i can get my “lineup” started
trust me
sure ill help you
watch the video
👍
it's way easier to have you get a basic understanding that way
ok
things like intel cpus not working with amd motherboards
i friended you guys if u want
my friend showed me that
thatll help to make sure everything's compatible

barely even over budget
not a bad first attempt
do you like the look of that cpu cooler?
it's a bit overpriced imo
an air cooler
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xmnVmr i would go for something like this and wait for sales on stuff

You can build the pc like this price
Ah one more thing
this is definitely over budget for now, but the storage you can change to a 1tb ssd + 2tb hdd since you'll be doing youtube videos and you probably want a lot more space. the CPU you can change to a 5600 if you want, the case is also subjective within reason. If you're not going 1440p and instead using 1080p, then you can drop to a 6600xt/6650xt
jeez @mint sundial this is why pcpp exists
ain't nobody clicking all those links
What does pcpp mean?
yeah
the prices aren't entirely accurate and you should always go deal hunting on r/buildapcsales unless you have oodles of money
but it does try to pull the best price for you
You don't even need windows box at all
You can install and use it for a low price anyway
There's bunch of windows key sellers on the internet
And you can buy a better gpu like 6700xt
That's better i guess
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh White w/ Controller ATX Mid Tower
mx500?
with a 980 pro?
might as well just get a nice 2tb ssd
cpu cooler is also overpriced unless you really like the looks
Oh i can explain it
because crucial also produces vrams for graphics cards so it can be comfortable for you
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Asus TUF Gaming GT501 ATX Mid Tower
That's my pc parts
i couldn't find some pc parts on this site so i tried to put the ones close to them
For example: asus tuf gt301 case
what
??
I mean cricual also produces Vram chips for gpu's
so...why does that matter when selecting an ssd
the mx500 is not a good value unless you've run out of m.2 slots
or are otherwise constrained to a sata interface
it's not really cheaper (and in some cases is more expensive) than a cheap or even mid tier nvme
and why not select crucial ballistix to make sure you're getting micron ram then?
I tested it on my own pc and I can confirm and say that if you are collecting a computer for gaming purposes, only 1 gen 4 ssd will be enough for the computer, even if we add another 1 m.2 ssd, the game opening time shows a difference of 1 second at most.
that's not my point
first off, testing on your own computer is a sample size of n=1
second, there's no point in getting a worse product for the same price, or more expensive
the motherboard on your list supports 2 m.2 slots

why do u care so much about how much it costs

And you can play Cyberpunk2077 in 4k max settings with no issues lol
I've never been in vc so i don't want to go to the vc anyway
nice

The product of a 3-year money-saving adventure will of course be nice at all
Let me tell you, my family said they wouldn't buy the PC until I finished high school and they wouldn't let me get a job and work and save money, so I saved pocket money and half of the PC's money was paid with the pocket money I saved.
congrats
Thanks
any laptop tweaking tips

really need help guys

buy a new latptop
Is it better to build a pc, or to buy a prebuilt. Ik i asked this question once, but i got no answwer
It's kind of personal preference but lots of people have fun building computers. Also generally speaking you can get better performance for the same money building one yourself vs buying a prebuilt
It really depends on whether you want the experience/challenge of building one yourself compared to just ordering a prebuilt and using it as soon as it arrives. The other major tradeoff is with the warranty. Building it yourself means you have a dozen different warranties for all the different components which can make it more difficult if something goes wrong and you need a replacement part vs a prebuilt having a single warranty covering all the parts in the system.
is the lian li galahad 360 or the arctic freezer II 360 better
nvm
would u recommend anything for this build? btw i already have the psu and gpu but gonna make sure i shouldn't change anything else before i buy the rest. also btw im getting the 980 pro with the build then the 970evo plus a bit later when the storage on the 980 pro gets almost full https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9cQTpH

Why would scarcity of ddr4 in a year matter
Price to perf ddr5 is absolutely not worth it
If you want to have new tech and like tinkering maybe
it does, if you need to replace it or upgrade you get something old for a high price. ddr5 next year will top 8000
IMO for 100 bucks totally worth it. 5-20 fps more in avg/min it's a lot
I wouldnt really say 20 fps more is noticeable depending on the FPS you had when you went up by 20, e.g 60 fps to 80 is noticeable but if you are use to running a high fps count adding 20 more is very barely noticeable in my opinion.
Oh for sure but you also have to add the monitor factor. Having a 120Hz monitor adding even 5 fps more is useless
Personally I think 144Hz is more than enough. I don't believe in having a 200+ fps monitor since if I remember correctly, the human eyes can't fully see that much FPS anway
144hz is perfectly good for me 💯
No shame bro I gotta step dads old gtx 970
It depends on what CPU and motherboard you purchase, case that supports all, and storage drive/drives you buy
depending on your cpu, i couldnt imagine it being over $1500
but you dont need a 144hz moniter if you only have a 1050 ti
Does anyone have any good recommendations for AMD CPUs around the 200€ price range
@final mica depends on what expectations you have with your pc. Is it for gaming, to work on. What is it gonna be for its use?
Gaming, I’ve got a 2070 that I want to pair it up with
then 200 euro wont be enough if you want something solid go with a AMD cpu like ryzen 7 something with at leats 8 cores and whatever threads it really depends on how much open tabs you have open simultaneously on your pc because if you go only with around 200 euro your gpu is gonna be bottlenecked with means there wont be enough coupled power with your gpu and cpu
you can search on google what cpu would be best to be with 2070 and you will have many answers up to you ^^
@final mica
@plucky garden okay then what would be an ideal cpu?
I play like a lot of fps games, lately I’ve been playing tarkov which pains me at the frames it’s running
do your own search and type your budget along so that google is gonna give you different good choices
you could check the ryzen 7 3700x i got the 3800x and you have what you want for your money i have this cpu since 2 years ago and he has never let me down once to show to that these cpu are not killable
@final mica
If I find a 5800x for around 280€ would it be worth?
of course its the new version of what i told you before
Oof
yea, but i wasn't using the mice for like one year, it left it in original box. so this is why its weird
sorry if i made you mad with ping
Well if the steps recommended by SS didnt work i think sensor is f-ed up or the cable im not sure tho
Did u update everything
yes i did
It only happens when u lift the mice ?
the cable should be okey i plug it to the phone and i was waving with cable hard and the phone didint stop charing even once
yep
lol
i just realized i sent this on wrong channel
i tried changing this
it kinda makes sens.. sensor stops working after i lift a mice
but it didint help
Can u turn it off
makes no different
lol its getting worst now even without lifting mice up sensor doesnt responds
Yeah
well there is progress it works like to second lift
yes i did
also i did try different computer, same problem
so i think its mice problem
not softare
Can be
ill try to send it back, but i think its too late
if it is
ill smash it against the wall
Make a ticket maybe :)
i did
ill wait for the response
but i always like to ask a community for help
sometimes someone has same problem and knows how yo solve it
anyways ty for help

Np hope it'll work again
Its actually amazing that SS has a community discord
And i love it
Who can built it for me to a good gamer pc for 500 euro in SWeden Uppsala/Knivista
I think they have just copied all the info from the settings "system info" page
I guess they want someone to build them something for 500 euros that is better
exacly, 200 fps on csgo now but know what parts I should change
What parts are you planning on swapping?
which one should i get> https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jxH8TW/gskill-trident-z-rgb-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr4-3600-memory-f4-3600c16d-32gtzrc https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dHjJ7P/gskill-trident-z-rgb-32gb-2-x-16gb-ddr4-3200-memory-f4-3200c16d-32gtzrx https://pcpartpicker.com/product/khmFf7/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr4-3600-memory-cmw32gx4m2z3600c18
the first one g.skill 3600 cl 16
im getting the intel core i7 1200k and a 3080, someone tell me if they are good pleasew
Gpu is good but idk about the cpu
But I think it’s good
good
One message removed from a suspended account.
i have a 3090 ti i just got 2 and half weeks ago and i can assure you its well worth the money
but why run air cooled on top model i9?
yea i would get a radiator/full loop
fr 3090 tis run really hot
i got mine pre watercooled
asus rog strix one
it gets my room really really hot
i only have a 1660 super
and a 11400
and i have a radiator
i get like 30°F
or C idrk
it must be °c because 30°F is in the negative °c... below water freezing point
Do think that the Founders Edition 3080 is still decent for over clocking?
Yeah it is
Not that decent if you wanna overclock the vram
the thermal pads the founders edition uses are't the best
Wanted to know if their is any components that I should update to get pc to run best :
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700F
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 UD
RAM: 4 Corsair DDR4 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce rtx 2080 super
is the ram 4 sticks of 8?
yes
In that price range you should look for an old office PC to upgrade.
Like buy an Optiplex for 300 EUR and put a 200EUR GPU in it.
Upgrade Ram and CPU but new CPU would require new motherboard
whats your budget
Pretty open less then $1000
You could go for a i7 12gen
Or wait till fall and go for the new AMD Ryzen CPUs
Maybe by that time ddr5 memories and motherboard will be cheaper
And if you switch the whole CPU motherboard and ram bundle, you could sell that to get some money back
do you need WiFi built into the motherboard or do you have a NIC/Ethernet?
and or any peripherals
he cant
lol
but he should go for i9 9900k
it goes well with 2080 super
more further causes bottleneck
he would have to change the whole pc
motherboard new gen = new gpu
new cpus isnt a good option for a 2080
its sort of outdated
he should go for ddr4 16 GB and i9 9900k if he wants an upgrade
but also its good why need an upgrade just upgrade the ram
12th gen = new motherboard too
ddr5 new motherboard
2080 would be fine but
4000 series should be out at the end of the year
I wonder if any cooler can even cooldown the 4000 series, when combiend with a new proccesor lol
anyone know a good gaming pc my budget is 1200e
and also does anyone know a good place to buy parts that ships to finland
English only
Ok
ok so an RX 6600 gets more frames than a RTX 3050, but the RTX comes with all of the Nvidia features. As someone building my first rig, and only using my dell 23 monitor, not doing a ton of gaming (mostly productivity and video editing) should I save my money and buy the RX 6600?
Personally I'd say wait and save. I'd take the better preforming GPU over having less performance but more niche features. Besides, AMD is rapidly catching up with a lot of Nvidia's major software selling points with FSR 2.0, RSR, and the new Radeon Voice Suppression
i suggest you use pcpartpicker
imma see
its really op for seeing lowest prices and scoping out parts for ur pc
cool
and it ships to finland?
it looks good but i dont really know what parts are good for the price
soo hard to find a good mother board
is this good i kinda also need help finding a motherboard
oh wait
i need something cheaper
i quit
you need help?
im by no mean an expert but i might be able to help you out a bit
yeah but im busy rn
no problem, hit me up when you are free
yeah
I already have a pc but I'm a little confused, what stats are required for rot breath?
Elder ring?
Which one is not ripping me off?
I see the difference and im looking at more but I want someone who is better at Pcs than me
Il just build a pc

hi
I have the IBuyPower build, works really well and dont really have any problems
Pc building advice in this channel you say?
go team green L team red

What resolution do you play at, also liking nvidia for being nvidia instead of the gpus they make is simply stupid, big navi is good for the right people
I meannn, I'm not gonna pursue an argument in building a pc buuuut as far as I know the compute power of nvidia's best beats amd's. Along with nvenc and accelerated raytraced computing.
I mean sure some games unfairly favor amd for some reason, and amd does sometimes get better frametimings, but meh
oh also dlss exists but then again amd has their own solution, but afaik dlss uses ai and is accelerated to a degree through ai
Price/perf amd wins
You can get 6900xts for 650 on sale
If you need Cuda, then obviously nvidia is better
But raw rasterized game performance, for the cards that are meant to be in the same tier amd wins
Not to mention FSR 2.0 looks just as good as Nvidia's current DLSS version (plus it's open source), and they have their own driver-based upscaler for some older/lower-end cards, and all things considered raytracing is still mostly a gimmick thing and even on a 3090 then performance hit with RT on still isn't worth it to me. Although in something like story driven singleplayer games where RT is the most useful anyways it really doesn't make a practical different between getting 100 FPS or 200. In comp/multiplayer titles, sure, but you shouldn't use RT at all for those anyways
Unfortunately the green brain rot is pretty powerful 🙃
oh lord XD. I just got done with cards against humanity and see this. I mean yes y'all do have good points. Plus price taken into factor, yes amd does win anyways no matter where you look imo except when looking at nvenc vs amd's nothing afaik, idk maybe amd has something for that and if you need accelerated raytracing (for whatever reason).
other than that, and maybe gaming performance (wow correction, looking it up amd and nvidia's top tier are REALLY neck and neck), amd is pretty compelling when compared to nvidia, and even then it's a close call afaik (I haven't tried amd's top tier card yet so I could be wrong, maybe it's better, the same, or worse)
Too late i decided to build my own pc
after the second bsod this week hinting towards mem errors I decided to do this and goddang it man to microcenter I go
Le oof
back to the lobby 👋
Ong
I reseated my ram and re-ran the test and now it’s been stuck on 21% for over an hour 💀
Oh it froze

Alr yep I’m done lol wow I did another test and it can’t even pass the standard test without coming up with hw errors. Reminder to everyone on not skimping on your research, parts, and dedication to making a pc
best laptop for $1400 aud?
Anybody got reccomendations for a wired keyboard
I personally am running a Razer Cynosa Lite. Probably one of the best ones I have ever thrown money at. I think i spent like $30-40 USD on it. For a budget friendly board, it has some very premium qualities.
Don’t get the Corsair K60 pro with cherry viola switches, I sent it back 3 times before they just sent me the “upgrade” which felt worse then the normal one
I’m rocking the steelseries apex pro tkl, loving every single bit of it
im using a ducky 1 2 mini. Basic ik but its the best keyboard I've had
looks like Ram Failure so bad/corrupt ram
or incompatiable
trust me I knew ever since I got the bsod's hinting towards memory errors
I just didn't want to accept it yet
I'm planning on getting new ram soon if I don't upgrade my whole system (although, I do have a 12th gen intel cpu waiting for me to get another motherboard, so maybe I'll do everything at once)
trust me ik the feeling i ran into failing CPU cores
also a "emo CPU"
Failing cpu cores
that must suck-
a fun (expensive) problem
if you need help still lmk i can get you a part list made in a short amount of time just lmk your budget
also thats why having extra backup ram is a must
32gb of ram on pc and 16gb of backup
Not a bad idea tbh
i had alot of parts but people be buying me dry
im still thinking if im gonna save up to one but maybe i am
well lmk with a budget and what games you want to play
128gb of ddr5 ram the cheapest trus
but its goodf
so you shouid grt
when i run my pc and it has a little bit of load it instantly jumps up to 50+ celcius can anyone tell me why?
im running a NZXT kraken z73 with the fans outside
What cpu
ryzen 3900x
When playing a game, running a benchmark preferably, or doing whatever you do. Put a load on it it of some sort, how hot does it get then?
56 can be normal for a 3900x at idle
What's ambient temp
And what guitarlover said
anyone know how i can make this about 1200?
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR, Deepcool CK560 ATX Mid Tower
I have a 5900x and I idle at about 33C, also 3x120 aio from Arctic
I have a 5900X and I idle at about 37C and get up to about 70-72C when gaming with a be quiet 360mm
try the corsair 4000d airflow
case
nvm its more excpensive
yeah
You could check if the non k CPU is cheaper
You won't need a custom 100$ cooler for an i5
Kinda overkill. The one out of the box is more than enough

@noble oak
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Deepcool CK560 ATX Mid Tower
With this build you are exactly at 1200$ but you also have an MSI rtx 3070
oh alright I'll check it out

no CPU cooler?
Usually i3 and it come with one in the box
Only i7 don't have one included
alr thanks
Check the description on Amazon when you are about to order it
It should say there if it's included or not
only K SKUs don't have them included
non-K i7s and even i9s do
and K i5s don't
is that a ryzen cpu ? if yes thats normal.
Guys I’m literally on my last straw and can’t figure out why my new build isn’t booting
I can help
What's the issue
whats the problem
All boot problems I've had and had friends who also had, always had something to do with the drive
unless it's improperly seated RAM
@quiet flume could you please help me out, my budget is around 1500€
I can help you build a pc
same
what
do any of yall know a good step by step to mod a keyboard
nope
there's a lot of ways to mod keyboards
so it depends on what exactly you're trying to do and which keyboard
i have a gk16 and i want to lube the keys and add a stabilizer
the keys feels very loose... if that makes sense. compared to my Anne pro 2 it feels very cheap. i have yellow switches in them and i was thinking it would be smooth. what is it that makes the keys feel smooth and less fidgety?
i know for a fact the keys didn't come pre lubed so maybe that's why....?
anyone on rn?
i need some help with my graphics card
Whats wrong?
do you ever need to re-lube switches?
What best GPU under 400 and its worth waiting for ryzen 7000?
yes it is worth waiting for ryzen 7000, the best gpu under 400 rn is hard to say but i would say the 3060
can run valorant on low settings (pros use low)@1920x1080 and it gets 200+ fps
FH5 max settings, 60 fps
Minecraft OptiFine 1.19.2 w/ BSL Shaders@1920x1080 at 140+ fps
- an RTX 3060 user
Yeah, lube will shift over time especially if it wasn't even
i wouln't go bellow 3060TI tbh, but prices should still drop in next month
@haughty apex not on minimum settings 3060 has RT, You cant compare frames without game settings
1070TI beats 3090 HANDS down othervise...1070 runing min specs 120 fps, and 3090 runing 4k ultra 60 fps....obviusly 1070 has more frames so it must be the better card 😄
i have 120fps with rx 550 4gb
3060 made for miners 3060ti more for gamers becouse rams
but 3060ti cost 550
ti version
I dont want to cause an argument so believe what you believe.
But yes, the 3060ti is a big improvement from the 3060 but if you don’t have the budget for the TI go for the normal version
gaming does not need 12gb but mining need
maybe 4000 serie comming this year
maybe worth for waiting
As 4000 series comes, the prices will drop for the 30 series.
or rx series gpu comming this month
so maybe worth buying like rx 7600 xt or something like that
Who even mines anymore you need to spend a ton to actually make anything anymore
Not to mention the fact that more and more games are taking advantage of more VRAM in GPUs these days. Far Cry 6, AC Valhalla, and Doom Eternal can easily use >10 gigs of VRAM playing at 1440p/4K using ultra high resolution textures
Saying gamers don't need 10+ gigs of VRAM in 2022 is only true if you play games older than 2/3 years, mainly esports titles, side scrollers, platformers, or any less graphically demanding games. But for the most part, all the newest AAA titles are taking advantage of the higher 10, 12, and 16 gig VRAM buffers in current and next gen GPUs
Yes becouse rtx got nerfed
Yes būt for 2060 12gb Rams Does nothing you need like rtx 3080 then you can use 12gb
What do yall think about 3060 RTX in a laptop
Not ideal for graphics heavy games
Try a 3050
Yah It was gettin really hot
Not that good but still good for gaming lol
yall I need help my switches
I think I just noticed that I got the wrong ones for my keyboard
what do I do?
"not that good"
what keyboard is this?
Guys don't join this, it's a scam
hk gaming gk61 v2
im thinking of
I7 11700KF
2x8 DDR4 3600 CL14
Kingston SSD 2tb
Seasonic Focus PLus Platinum 850w
ASUS ROG STRIX B560-F
Fractal Design Meshify 2 Black TG Dark Tint
ASUS ROG STIX RTX 3080
and some AIO Cooler
quoted from @noble oak
and idk anything abt the corsair aio's
so you have to research from the internet and watch videos abt this cooler from youtube
and that's all
not good for triple a games
Can I play CSGO at fairly good graphics?
yes you can play csgo but graphics was never an option for csgo
yes i have a R7 5800x and RTX3060 and i run csgo on really high FPS
5800H i mean
Cool
Btw
so you have to waaay down the graphics snd optimize the game for better performance
Is your laptop heating a bad thing
its just loud
I can feel mine go to like 25-30 C
Other than that ofx
if you feel your laptop is heating in to 25 to 30 celcius your laptop proccessor is like to 40°C or 55°C
or between this degrees
Oof
K then
I may have given some wrong information, so the most logical thing is to look at the processor temperature from your pc's control program.
anyway i have to turn off my pc now good night guys see you later.
good night
I run an arctic 3x120 AIO and I never see temps above 65-70C on my 5900x
Can rtx 3060 run minecraft
Ahahha
I think (may be wrong) you may have major difficulties with just a 3060... I wouldn't risk with below a 4090 😜
you could run minecraft on the back of a cereal box if you set render distance to minimum
i could run mc on a 7 year old samsung smart tv
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR, Deepcool CK560 ATX Mid Tower
is this good?
Let me see
Depends. What are you going to do with it? Hard core gaming? Or casual
Isn't it more about gaming or creative apps?
4090 default TGP is apparently rumored to have 450w/and a max TGP of 660w (at least according to videocardz.com), would it still require another PSU? My current PSU is ROG Thor 850w platinum
heavy emphasis on 'rumored'
might need to put it in bold and italics
rumored
mountain of salt included
guys, ryzen 5 3200x 6 cores+ motherboard: gigabyte B450M DS3H (not the V2) + rtx 2080/rtx 2080 ti/rtx3080 (i dont know what ill buy)+ 16gb ram ,, it will comfortable and fine ?
with power supply 750w (if i will need) and if not so 500w
Comfortable and fine for what
And do you mean 3200g? Or a different cpu
Seems like it might be pretty unbalanced depending on what you're using the computer for
for now iv the same but with gtx 1660s
and sorry the cpu is ryzen 5 3600 6core ( that what the Geforce experience say)
Hey guys so I never experienced building a custom pc but a lot of people ask me why don’t u get a pc so it give u more performance and more maneuverability but never had pc so only play games with gaming laptop so idk how i learn to build a pc
not sure what they mean by maneuverability, but there's lots of good starter videos on how to build a pc
I would check out something by gamersnexus or LTT to start off with
Ye but it just like gonna take ages to figure out how to build a pc while pre-built pc is trash like no one really like it cuz I guess u cant custom them and they charge u more price unless I watch and learn with someone that build irl so I can take closer look and get idea
The video play liek hour
also one thing I get very confused is cable management idk how to do that
In my opinion, spending a couple of hours to learn how to build your own pc is very worth it
learn it once, use it forever
This is the one what I mean
So u gotta need to tidy the cable but it too confused idk which one connect to other example for psu
you can follow the cable from the psu to where it goes to figure out what it does
oftentimes the psu will also label which cable connects to what
Also for graphic card do u need to use screwdriver or u just stick it while other like motherboard u need to use screwdriver for ssd, cpu, etc
you need a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the gpu into the case
ok so last step is graphic card come last while first step to build a pc is cpu go first into motherboard
generally yes
but it's also useful to put in just the motherboard and the gpu into the case to figure out the cable management first
then you can take it out, test the cpu to make sure it works before you put it all back into the case
also do u need to add thermal paste when placing cooler on cpu
yes. a lot of coolers have it preapplied and you just need to remove a piece of plastic
6900xt @wooden acorn
okie thank you
automod got you because you accidentally put a bad word in
oh , sry have a nice night
almost all modern GPU fans don't spin until they hit a certain temperature
ayo, so now that prices are finally dropping I've been thinking about building a PC, and I was wondering if I should buy 30 series on ebay now, or wait until around 40 series launches to buy a 30 series card
cause I see conflicting opinions onlone
I'd wait a little if you have a decent 10th series or 20 series gpu
thing is
I asked a question something like this
well
oh
anyways my laptop is over 6 years old
oh well if the hardware is this old, I'd buy parts now 😄
Yeah, I'd probs do something like buy 30 series and thinking about new intel or AMD platform
depends on which one is better value ofc
right now amd is
yeah, Im kinda thinking in future proofing, cause I expect AM5 to last a while, and both intel and AMD transitioning to DDR5
well, ok it depends
As far as I know ryzen 6000 doesn't support ddr4 and ddr5 is hella expensive
so its probably something like buy 30 series, wait a while for ddr5 to drop a bit
ye sounds good
intel is gonna support z690 and ddr4 for the next gen (already got the mobo update like a month ago)
but you'll be fine if you get a 30 series rn and wait for the amd 6000 release
I'm not sure if it isn't even more 5head if you buy ddr5 rn as with the release of ryzen the prices will get a bump due to shortage
yep
buying ram before you get the mobo
oh yeah
aint 40 series bout to get announced?
first leaks already showed performance
they are debating if it gets announced tomorrow
Just wanted to know is this a good build for a first time builder and pc
Its has a Corsair 4000D airflow case
A AMD Ryzen 5600x cpu
A MSI MPG B550 wifi motherboard
A Corsair vengeance ddr4 16gb ram
A Samsung 980 M.2 1tb ssd
A Corsair iCue h100i elite water cooler
A rtx 3060ti or 3060 (because of prices)
Do you have a power supply?
Looking at it I think it is pretty good... Thinking you may want a bit more storage... perhaps some kind of HDD drive with one or two terrabytes of storage
Lol... In that case it is a good build (you could add more storage post purchase)
Well you can connect SATA drives to it I believe (would sit in the case drive bays)
Could you specify which b550 you are looking at? (there are different models)
I believe it has 3 slots... (2 labeled with "M" and 1 with "E") I don't know what the letters stand for but Two is definitely feasable
Ok thanks
pretty solid build. go with the TI if possible. its worth the extra boost if you can afford it
Ok
I prob could since the Christmas is coming soom
And also the prices is since im in Lithuania
playing in 1080P right?
?
What resolution monitor/monitors
Oh wait probably yes
For example my monitors are 1920x1080 so I believe I'm 1080
one common mistake everyone makes is having a beast PC.... then not having the right hardware to go with it to get the benefits of the system. monitor is by far the most over looked
I'm kinda in love with it
Ok I'll write the one i might get
MSI Gaming OPTIX G243
And gn
gn
looks good. i personally, this is a bias opinion... i wont buy a panel thats not IPS. They are more expensive but thats just my preference
Either works... just depends what fits in case... if you can get 3 fan then I would go for it (although do consider noise if that is a factor for you)
Ok
Thanks but the case is going to be the Corsair 4000d airflow so i triple fan should fit fine
: )
What brand you looking at?
Msi
send screenshot of page?
Because there are several different models with the same chipset
@haughty vault
Yes
Don't know about that because it'll be in a foreign language
But ok
Ah fair
And the page also will put laptops and pc with it
But here the page of the i found
@nocturne folio
Yep will fit fine with 3 so have fun
Why not buy rtx 4000 series graphic card u could get 4060 but might wait months for it to announced it rn it 4090 n 4080
You could select two of this but if u want a cheaper version then go windforce gaming oc but it has no rgb if u look at the RGb Halo on the bottom left
@haughty vault you could wait few months for 4060 might be available at December not 100% sure
Well the thing is money
oh are u trying to buy graphic card that on sale
No its my first pc
maybe the new gen could be on sale example Christmas sale
Oh ok
so u getting gigabyte 3060 ti
Yup
Or I'll see the price tho
But maybe not because before the 4000 series hits Lithuania it'll be a good few or more months or hella a year
wth, 540 for a 3060 ti??
nowadays you can buy a 3080 ti for that kinda money
Lol
I live Lithuania so it'll be a while before the gpu market to even out
@idle bridge
true
but places such as ebay exist, but there is ofc the dillemma with shipping
(:
Oh
But the mutiny
Cost
Shipping
Yes and border mutiny
Because it'll be shipped from a foreign country
are they
Um what
Lithuanias time zone is like russias
basically a zone within the EU that allows unrestricted travel of people and goods
Actually idk
Basically no border control at mutual borders
Oh ok
Cool i found a founders edition 3060ti
Nicee
Bud the bid ends in 22h
youll use it for gaming, yes?
@haughty vault
Yup
Found a 3070ti founders edition for 485
lol wth
ohh
its an auction
110 euro for 6700 xt
btw just sort by price
found a new, unopened 6700 xt
from amd
150 euro
Ok
right now low and mid tier cards are better value at AMD
6800 ct for 515
better performance than 3080 10gb edition
right in between 3080 TI and 3080 12 gb in gaming performance
*at 1080p and 1440p
3080's have better video memory, which makes them better for 4k
hmm
your call ig
Just wanna let you know though you can find 6800's for a bit above 400 euros though
Ok k
Shipping for this one to lithuania approx 25 euros, according to Ebay
Then should i get amd Ryzen 5 9600x?
5600x?
And gn
gn
5600x still ok value
BUT
before you buy
just wait a tiny bit
AM5 should launch on sep. 27
hi
im gonna swap my case
i have a prebuilt

wait i have a question
should i buy a 2070 or wait for the 30 series prices to drop
u want to get the one with better feature and performance so 30 series pretty sure it already on sale
u could get 3070 ti
fr
high budget is like 500+ sooooo
idk
i’m somewhat new
ngl
like i have 1K free for my graphics card
What's your cpu
Because if you get a stronger gpu you'll also going to need a stronger cpu so your performance won't bottle'neck
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER, Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW ATX Full Tower
Oh yeah I need one of those as well
Can you guys just help me with the entire thing
Budget 10-15K
You can go over just a little
Only if you need
Can someone help me out with my computer
Its beeping 6 times when I go to turn it on
My issue is only fixed when I change my graphics card
I'm not sure if mines broken or if there's more to it
$10-15,000?! like dollars?!?!

Bro going to play a flight sim and end up controlling a actual plane💀
If you wanna send me like 5k to buy new monitors and a new gpu I wont complain
My ryzen 7 being bottlenecked by my 1050ti
anyone know if this is real?
High performance gaming simplified! Each MEK HERO is built with quality and ease of use. We simplified the choices by building a PC that is made for performance and reliability right out of the box. sounds too good to be true
you tryed looking up reviews? on trustworthy sites like ign n stuff, since company's can also buy review bots that always 5 star
those can help you see if its real or not
i believe it just released, so i doubt there'll be any reviews on it yet
He
haha no sorry bro i earnt it and its mine whatever i have left over im either saving for a car or investing
My current PC: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/bPThBj
Might have some extra cash to spend sometime soon and am wondering what I should upgrade in my rig.
Was thinking about maybe hardline water cooling but I don’t know of anyone near me who sells that kind of stuff. (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.)
If you have any other upgrade ideas I’d love to hear them!
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT, GeForce RTX 3070, Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower
Hey can y’all dm me part for a pc for gaming/streaming
theres pretty much nothing to upgrade except the cpu
If you play on 1440p, the 3070 should be just fine
The 3900XT is a little slower than the 5900x (around 10-12%), thats it
Nothing to do there imo
Would I be able to just buy the new CPU and install it? Or would I need a new motherboard as well? I’m not very educated on motherboards or CPU chipsets.
You can only install a new cpu if it has the same size pins (Forgot the word)
Then you also have to worry about your power supply and gpu
Im also not very educated on pcs so for further explanations you should ask someone else (;
exactly
Will work just fine as x570 was actually released prior to the 5000 series
Only Ryzen 7000 won't work as a new socket came out for it 🙂
He posted his pc above
The socket of Ryzen 1000 to 5000 was exactly the same if you mean that.
The PSU of his is way to OP for any system his size xd He could run a 12900k and a rtx 3080ti and wouldn't need a new psu
Well thats the perfect explanation
Just didnt want them to order a CPU and find out it doesnt fit and then break the motherboard (::
Oh btw!
Make sure to give the cpu some heat BEFORE removing the cooler as you may rip the cpu out when you remove the cooler!
Happened to me with my Ryzen 5 1600 👀
Just run a game for 10-15 mins and let it cool down a little, then the cooling paste should be a little less adhesive
Awesome! Thank you so much!
oi if you need some good thermal paste you may wanna look out for thermal grizzly kryonaut
You obviously can't reuse the thermal paste thats on the cooler 😄
best pc build for 1500 euros in europe? with air cooling good font and good motherboard and nvidia
Will the new ryzen 7 7000 series CPU bottleneck an RTX 2080? on a 1080p high refresh rate gaming setup?
bro this is a steal
i was looking on offerup for pcs
and i found this
https://offerup.com/item/detail/8cb65d46-a0a5-3ee0-849c-0e4fb36f9728
Used (normal wear), I build PCs for fun. Selling this baby so I can start a new Ryzen build. This build is 4 months old. I had put in a 1200W power supply in case I ever purchased a 3090 but I never did.
Ryzen 5900X
ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
32 GB at 3200 MHz
2 TB of NVME storage
Corsair H170i Elite LCD Display Liquid Cooler
Corsair 7000...
tbh its like way toooooooooo god
i put most of the parts in pc part picker and the total was like 2.8k
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DbLhBj
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW ATX Full Tower
I’m desperate today my Pc was shutting off couple times and Best Buy but told me your PSU is low for your setup. So I went from 750 to 850 watt I switched and I bought a ups 900Watt just for the heck of it. And still shut off, I don’t know what to think. I even tried with a battery and if still shut off. I don’t know what to do. Lol
Any inputs is greatly appreciated!
@simple ivy does your Motherboard have lights with names next to it (i will send you a picture what to look for)
Yup. CPU will outperform the gpu lol
Won’t show him anything when the pc turns off
Well, the question is what are you running when it turns off and what’s your hardware. Is it giving you a bsod or does it just shut down completely? Have you already done a couple tests?
I’d recommend running the stresstest of aida64 extreme for 30 minutes and check temps and everything with hwinfo64
only when you shut it down it turns red. thats what you mean right?
Yes
And that’s what happens when I turn it on.
That’s the sequence that takes place.
2 months
especially your cpu
🤣
thats isnt old, otherwise it could be your thermal paste
It’s my first build Pc
just a other question, what are your specs (just curious)
