I used to use turtle beach stealth 800's which were amazing, but my battery has degraded heavily, and my warranty ran out. Their customer service is awful. They neither have a repair service, nor sell OEM batteries, so I'm basically left in the dark. I know how to open it up and replace the battery, but I can't find one which fits. So I've given up, getting arctis wireless pro as I've seen the customer service is 100% better and batteries are replaceable, meaning you can technically maintain it like a car haha 🙂

I've been in this Discord for quite awhile now and you're the first person I've seen report an issue like that. If it's an issue a lot of people experience (like the known side grip issue with some batches of the Rival 600 and 650 wireless) there are a good amount of people that mention problems like that in the Discord looking for help. I doubt it's a widespread problem, and speaking as someone who is very into technology, hardware, etc. I can say for sure that keeping a lithium ion/polymer battery (like the one in the 650 wireless) plugged in for long periods of time results in heavy degradation which causes power delivery and charge problems. Depending on the quality of the battery inside the device, this can happen over a rather long period or short period of time, but it will happen no matter what because that's just how lithium ion batteries are designed @hexed shore

The way the ticket systems work is that when you reply you're out to the bottom of the pile so the support staff are dealing with the oldest first. Give it a few days and if there's no luck, DM me your ticket number and I'll pass it through to the support staff.

I mean, it makes sense for the staff as they'll be dealing with the oldest reply first, so they're constantly rotating through. If you're waiting a year or two on a response then yes I see your point, but three days is nothing bearing in mind the staff are also in lockdown and in the middle of a pandemic.

if i cant sell it then i will have to get a new keyboard that has silent switches. I am aware that red switches are more silent than brown (browns have a small audible click i think) as for oranges i heard they have no sound at all

I'm pretty sure the A5s are designed to have the mic work with just the 3.5mm adapter since the adapter is 3 pole. Are you sure the splitter you're using as a three pole connector going into the port on the PC? @rotund nexus

That's actually designed to be an audio share port so you can plug another set of headphones into the A5s if someone else wants to listen to the same thing as you so. Honestly the best thing to do is either try and get a refund from Cex or buy a separate ChatMix dial from the SteelSeries website
