So steel series had an update and guess what, they messed up my output and input again. What I did fix mine is to ignore that SteelSeries SET DEFAULT YELLOW button and basically set my output and input to my laptop's default audio. YEP don't use the headset popups and rn my mic is working and I can hear out of my headset. GL PP can't wait for another update.

The only issue I have is that ppl in discord can hear what I listen to smh

Glad I didn't, it warped a part of her mouse matt due to the heat.

I just cleaned mine using 99% isopropyl alcohol on a damp microfiber cloth and rubbing areas that are chalky, then I used warm dish soap and water and then just water on a damp microfiber cloth.

The alcohol made so much dead skin and oils come out on the damp soapy water phase.

Turned out to not be a good idea for my sister lol. Im glad I didnt follow and did it my way.

Many SteelSeries headsets come with Sidetone, which allow you to hear yourself through the headset’s mic for better clarity when talking.

@rugged gullsome games have auto clipping enabled profiles, but in this case GTA v does not have that feature, you'll have to see what the shortcut is for clipping games is, as well as set the video quality and framerate also make sure in game capture is set to enabled

After troubleshooting attempts, including a factory reset and driver reinstallation, the problem persists and the GameBuds are no longer recognized.
SteelSeries requested WAD1NG to provide proof of purchase, the typed serial number, photos of the product from all angles, and his full name and address by June 20, 2025, for a warranty claim.
After providing the requested information, including photos via Imgur, SteelSeries asked WAD1NG to destroy the product by damaging the earpieces and scratching off the serial number from the charging case, providing photos of the destruction by June 24, 2025.
WAD1NG's claim was denied by SteelSeries on June 18, 2025, at 10:13 AM CDT, citing a mismatch of information (serial number, proof of purchase, address), and then reconsidered, stating that the provided photos were edited and not acceptable for the warranty procedure.

Unfortunately not because it's a waste of time. A hard reset doesn't reset the headset, so I threw it away. It's e-waste now.

Volume wheels only affect windows maun system sound which with sonar is assigned to the gaming channel, youd need to rebind that volume wheel to a output a key input and asign it in sonar master controll settings

Under master in sonar there are shortcuts for its volume controll

You need to bind a key to it

Is it just me, who cant see the GG birthday bash progress anywhere? I did submit my email on the webpage, I am logged in with the same account in the GG app since years. I did get the "welcome to the gg battle pass party" mail, and also an email that says I am one login away from a 30% discount (I've been logged in the app for years, also tried logging in again, no luck). I cant find the place where I can track the quests/tasks or any progress. The "Join Now" link button in GG app / Home and Giveaways tabs just redirect to the webpage, awaiting to submit my email again. I am using GG 89.0.0. Thanks for your help/input!
