You can also check all of your folders to see what is taking up a lot of storage in settings

This should take you to all of your temporary files

Hi, I have a weird question about Arctis Nova 3 that we bought, it looks like after installing the GG app and do the setups, the mic is always on by default, even when there is no call. Is this normal? My regular Arctis headset was not like this at all

yes. although the wooting may be more expensive, it has a 0.2 mm accuation point whereas the apex pro tkl has 0.4. Im pretty sure the apex pro doesnt have rapid trigger either, so if you have extra money to spend, get the wooting. But, if you want a keyboard for both work and play, get the apex pro tkl as the tkl has all of the keys you would need. I hope this helps 🙂

a lot of PCs don't even do jack detection so it may not even show up as "connected"

idk, every PC is different and made by different people, check the website of your pc manufacturer

Analog audio devices are headsets/speakers that use the 3.5mm headphone jack as the primary way to connect to the PC or console.

Please note that analog headsets use your on-board audio drivers to run the headset. Due to this, analog headsets are not compatible with SteelSeries Engine and will not show up on the device list in Engine.

There is good news, though! Analog headsets can be used through Sonar. Please make sure your Sonar outputs are set to the on-board audio device that is driving the headset. These are usually named "Realtek" or "Intel" depending on your PC.

If you are having audio issues, here's a few steps to try:

• Reseat all cable connections to verify they are fully plugged in. The 3.5mm connection will require that the cable be plugged in fully for correct audio. Make sure all connections are clean and free of dirt. Additionally, please check that you have the correct end of the cable plugged into your PC, as some SteelSeries Nova headsets have unique cables that must have the correct end plugged into the headset.

• Verify that you are plugging the headset into the correct port. Some PCs may have split headphone and microphone audio jacks, so using a splitter for these devices is required to make the mic work. Check your PC's manual or specs to see which type of headphone port you have. Additionally, if you are on a desktop PC, it's recommended to use the rear audio ports on your motherboard for audio, rather than the ports on your PC case.

• Check for audio driver updates from your PC manufacturer. As analog headsets use your on-board audio drivers to run the headset, it's recommended to check for any driver updates or additional audio software that's provided by your manufacturer. These drivers or management programs may be required for your device to be detected by Windows.

• Arctis Pro Wireless
• Arctis Nova 5X Wireless

• APW would be the most like your old arctis 5 in terms of shape, and does have onboard chatmix. the downside is no xbox support, and that i think pretty much all non-nova Arctis headsets are discontinued so who knows how long term will be
• Nova 5 is the newest headset and has nice features like mobile app support, which is nice for consoles. but the bluetooth isn't simultaneous
• Nova 7 is a bit older and sadly no mobile app support, but does have dual audio with bluetooth, and i think is a bit more robust on PC.

functionality wise, all the apex pro keyboards are the same. they all have the same actuation range, the same rapid trigger/rapid tap, protection mode, etc. as you go up to gen 2 and gen 3 you get much nicer build quality, but that's not something i can really explain over text. if you're able to, try to find a retail store near you with the keyboards, but if you can't, you'll be fine with whatever model you can get your hands on.

sonar can sometimes act odd with audio outputs, go into the audio fallback settings to set it to the right outputs

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Anyone using Nova Pro with Alias mic? Ever since hooking up the Nova Pro the Alias mic no longer will pick up audio in discord. Id prefer to use the Alias mic as default since I use my desk speakers most of the time.

Bought the Nova 1's today from Curries. Unboxed, put the cables together, put my pink audio jack into line-1 out and the green into the mic port. Not hearing any audio, or mic pick-up.

It works when I use the audio jack in the front of my case, but this only allows for audio, no mic. Any ideas? Updated my realtek drivers.

analog headsets like the nova 1 are always weird, since it's driven and controlled by the onboard audio chipset so it's quality can vary wildly from system to system. plus every chipset has different features and software so it gets even weirded with detection and surround sound, etc

cross talk is usually a hardware issue (i.e one connection is causing interference with something else) but the hardware issue can be as simple as you don't have the cable plugged in all the way

or the wrong end plugged in since the nova 1 has a special cable where the two ends are different so if you plug it in backwards you'll get cross talk

it should work on whatever has BT support, but keep in mind that you'll need to go through the BT pairing process to connect it to a new device since the headsets don't save more than one pairing. gotta hold the BT button down to get pairing mode going.
