Hello guys, a few days back my artics pro 5 dropped heavily in audio sound and i cant seem to fix it. They are the wired version and tried both plugs (USB & Headphone plug).
-Other things ive tried:
-Installed GG Sonar
-My sound knob is max game on Sonar and the plug Attachment
-Played with the windows sound and cant find a fix.
Read a reddit forum and only fix attempt i could find was playing around with the cord and that didnt help 😦

Many SteelSeries headsets come with Sidetone, which allow you to hear yourself through the headset’s mic for better clarity when talking.

For most headsets, the volume of the Sidetone can be lowered in SteelSeries Engine, which is part of GG. GG can be downloaded here: https://steelseries.com/gg

If you have a “Playstation” version of a headset (such as the Arctis Nova 7P) then your headset may have a physical wheel on the headset for turning the sidetone down.

Hey Guys I made a good RGB pattern I liked in the GG Engine software and expected it to save to onboard memory, but it didn’t. I also tried some of the pre-made presets, and nothing worked—even turning off the RGB. Looking for some help, in Sonar my game and chat defaults to my nvidia for whatever reason and everytime I turn on my machine I have to manually select my headset. Is there a way to fix this?

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Hello! I've had this problem for quite a while now but my 'W' key requires multiple presses until it registers. I have done a factory reset to try and fix this issue but it clearly has not worked as the issue is still ongoing for me. I don't know what else to do as many people have not actually discovered a fix for this other than buying a new keyboard, however in most cases for others that I have seen they have experienced this issue with multiple keys on their keyboards and I refuse to purchase a whole new keyboard over one key being unresponsive.

My Arctis 7 headset ear just broke. I have tested the Arctis Nova series headsets out and they are missing the different audio channels that the non nova arctis 7 has. Is there anyway to get this functionality on the nova headsets?

This is a weird question. But is there some sort of like... Standard or like idk recommendations I guess for 3.5mm jack to fit into my steel series arctis nova 1P? I've tried 2 or 3 different ones and they all just barely seem to not clear the chassis or something I think. Resulting in muddled sound.

At first I thought it was the cables themselves but the only other one that's worked in them is a Logitech headphones cable

So I'm wondering if there's just some sort of standard that I don't know about

(I'm looking for a new cable because I keep the one that came with my headphones with my Steam Deck, and the Logitech one is starting to have cable issues. Since it's 5-6 years old)

After last update Sonar enabled BACK UP DEVICE SWITCH, which I later found out and turned off.

All it does is if the device is unplugged or unavailable sonar will switch to the next available output device

you use the Multi System Reciver ? connect via Cable the MSR to your PC and then Connect the Headset to the MSR and wola.

no the base via USB to the pc and if you connected it via usb port 1 then select usb port 1 or if 2 then 2, and then just use the headset without a usb dongle use the Base to recognice the headset this is what i did

yea it has to be both via base and via wire, just remove the cover on the left side and put a usb cable on it and update it.
