I've got a new Nova Pro WIreless today.FIrts time I turned it on I only had audio in the left ear. Now it won't even power on with a fully charged battery in it. My previous set had the exact same issue. This is insane!

I have a Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless and I tried to configure the backup device as my speakers but when I shut down the headset, the sound is still played on it and not on my speakers. Can you try the following?

Go To Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch
Under Backup Device Switch > Move your desired device to the Playback devices and make sure that it's setup as (1) this will set the device as high priority
Make sure that the device is set as high priority on every Tab being GAME / CHAT / MEDIA / AUX / MIC

After properly setting up your playback devices, feel free to restart your device and SteelSeries GG itself then further confirm if the issue persists.

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Anyone else using Arctis Nova Pro on their Playstation 5? Seems like the microphone is absolute crap while in a playstation party. Getting a lot of complaints from my buddies about inconcistant mic volume. One time they hardly cant hear me and the next time I am way too loud! Noise cancelling doesn't work either. It picks up all the background noise.

Also need to add that it's my second set of Nova Pro's. Had the same issue om two different PS5 systems while it works om PC.

IIRC, sonar runs as it's own .exe, so killing GG through task manager will just kill the core GG app and not Sonar/Engine/Prism since they all have their own .exe files. closing GG normally should close all the other processes though.

It doesn't unless you activate Sonar and controlling the sound is literally its purpose. You won't have any sound if it's misconfigured.

So if you dont hear it, thats good for you. But i need someone who has experienced the same problem like me so he can tell me if nova pro wireless also has the same problems.
