https://discord.com/channels/299040363123965952/1270077959944015903 If what I said is accurate then follow the instructions on installing an older GG to rollback the firmware, gg will update later, you will just have to ignore the "CRITICAL UPDATE" bar that appears under the keyboard in engine after GG updates to the newest version.

You have to scroll up a bit to find the instructions posted by the guy.

It fixed my rgb issues that have been happening for 2 months.

stuck with this version for now but its ok, I still get all that I need since its not too old.

Apex pro mini wireless. I don't have a USB type C port for the dongle, would it also work with an adapter? Usb type A to Usb type C adapter. My mouse (Aareox 5 wireless) is not in 2.4 GHz mode due to the lack of a dokel connection and my keyboard is connected with a cable. Is that why it jerks in the game?

i have the arctis nova pro wirless, using on a alienware laptop. The headset and mics works fine once they are on default but as soon as i try to use sonar i have no audio, it says audio is coming out but im not hearing anything, i have made sure my headsets are selected and gaming as default but still nothing ive watched videos and ran over the forums on steelseries page but nothing helped, ive messed with all the sound options what the forums told me to do but no results i even completly wiped the app from files and reinstalled but that also didnt help

i have this annyoing thing.. everytime i change battery on my arctis nova pro my settings in sounds go to my motherboard audio so i have to go in the app and changed it back

I have an Arctis 7 and that one does stay as the default even when turned off. I'd have to manually change to another output. But replacing a battery might do something else in terms on an onboard reset on the headphones (?). Not entirely sure.

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Hey so I recently bought the "Arctis 7X" and I cannot seem to find out why there I can hear my own mic on the headset, I am connected to PC. Does anyone know how to turn this annoying setting off?

Many SteelSeries headsets come with Sidetone, which allow you to hear yourself through the headset’s mic for better clarity when talking.

For most headsets, the volume of the Sidetone can be lowered in SteelSeries Engine, which is part of GG. GG can be downloaded here: https://steelseries.com/gg

If you have a “Playstation” version of a headset (such as the Arctis Nova 7P) then your headset may have a physical wheel on the headset for turning the sidetone down.

For analog headsets that use the 3.5mm headphone port, sidetone may be generated by your on-board audio devices. Please refer to your computer manufacturer’s support for more help
