sometimes things just go bad. it could be something as small as the metal used in the spring had a slight impurity so it wore out faster. or a solder joint that just wasn't flowed enough. or in shipping the person dropped your box and weakened it a bit.

that's why the warranty is there, to cover the things that get past the inital tests

you can't turn off the noise gate on that headset. all you can do is make sure the volume is turned all the way up on your PC and to turn down the audio through the headset/base station

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

If you are having issues with routing not working or apps moving back to another device after dragging them, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

things like bluetooth connection not working if you already are connected to an xbox, and vice versa. Headset disables bluetooth whenever you plug in a jack of any kind, having to reset the headset almost weekly with a paperclip

I daily drove Arctis Pro wireless for 3 years without any issues. I've used Nova Pro wireless since launch and no issues there either. Plus I've used a bunch of other headsets, like Arctis 3, 5 and 9. And abother Nova headset. All without issues.

9x didn't need a dongle because they were using Xbox wireless tech directly. I haven't had any issues myself but I've seen a lot of people having problems with it not doing a dongle. Another headset I tried from B&o struggled a lot with the tech having a lot of issues with audio drops and distortion
