Which fps's do you guys play?

Started gaming again a couple months ago after a prolonged hiatus, and have kinda settled on xdefiant and battlefield mode in the new delta force.

Did not really enjoy Destiny 2, the finals, pubg or MW3, put 70 hours in bf2042, haven't tried apex/valorant/overwatch 2/fortnite, used to like CS back in the 1.6/CSS days but have lost the patience for it, just feels dated without ADS, and too many peoples spamming voicechat in russian or other slavic/caucasian/baltic languages.

Personally I played Helldivers 2 (patches ruined the experience a lot), and then the only other FPS I play is SCP Secret Lab. Those were the only two I really played, but I prefer SCP Secret Lab more

Yes, the voice chat can get a bit hectic at times, but you need to join a more moderated lobby. The one I joined was Arcadia and their moderation was amazing. I was a mod for the server till I stepped down.

I've had to add some games manually myself, then if it still doesn't work I've found restarting my PC usually lets me capture it!

Otherwise you'll have to enable the Desktop Capture mode.

I know, but the Legendary version had an in-game option "Detect WoW Gaming Mouse". With that we would be able to see "Mouse Button 6..15" as actual mouse buttons. No need for mapping them as keyboard keys.

Not sure where to put this, but SteeSeries marketing is in need of correction on a couple things concerning the new Aerox 9 WoW Edition. Zero holes on the mouse, which is cool to see and hopefully implemented on future models, **but the marketing blurb is copied straight from the standard Aerox 9 so it mentions holes for weight reduction 😅 ** And on that: 99g is not "reduced" from anything apparent, it's actually a 10g increase of weight from the standard Aerox 9 Wireless (which also is incorrectly labeled an "ultralight". I know I'm being insufferable right now 🤓 )

Anyway, wanted to put this out there to see if anyone at SteelSeries was interested in correction on these things. I guess I ping a mod now? I'll ping a mod now. (sorry for pinging a mod and disturbing them for my lil' nerd-out rant) @rigid geyser

As an avid MMO player and tech obsessed person, it is definitely a reduction in comparison to other MMO mice on the market. The Razer Naga V2 Pro is 134g, Logitech G600 is 133g, and the Corsair Scimitar. My Razer Naga V2 was very heavy and I love how light the Aerox 9 is in comparison!

This is debatable, but "ultralight mice" can be considered 100g or less. (But can also be as low as 80g, so I do see where you're coming from)

If you haven't, verify that your Windows System levels are turned up. Right-click the sound icon and click "Sounds" then click the "Recording" tab to see your Arctis mic and open properties from there. Just pretend it says "Arctis" instead of "Tonor" in your case haha (I use a separate mic on my system)

hmm so I noticed no one else is having the rgb issue with the apex pro, it turns off after a few hours or the animation freezes if using prism, this must mean its my windows since it happened after updating the keyboard firmware to version 4.15.7?

so originally I had a old dell pc with an i7 2700k in it right. So I decided hey, lets upgrade it and use the same cpu but get a new motherboard case and ram, So I bought a used Asus P8Z68-V motherboard and buit the new pc using the old cpu, I decided lets overclock it and bring it to its limit, only problem is that I couldnt bring it to what it should be able to get to because the motherboard I suspect was used to OC in the past, 2 months later the fuse beside the cpu that protects my components blew and thats when I decided to just get a 5600x build and not bother overclocking again

Im not too bad with fixing audio issues with steelseries devices in relation to gg software, only because I encountered many types of those issues personally in the past

the only time it becomes a bit awkward is when its a wireless headset since my bluetooth knowledge doesnt extend past checking or changing drivers in device manager for bluetooth problems

or changing something in the registry

but those already give me headaches

I found out back then that the Arctis Pro + GameDac doesnt work correctly unless plugged into a usb 3.0 due to the amount of endpoints and the speed of 2.0.

Hey everyone I didn't know where else to put this but I'm curious as to whether or not it is a reported bug that "GG | Sonar" typically assigns a non-viable device to my Game/Chat/Media/Aux/Mic channels by default?

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

its like the rgb is changing every 5 seconds sometimes and sometimes 10 seconds

right now prism is turned on, if it was turned off the rgb would just shut off on whatever config it was set to

but sometimes you can see the rgb cycling in an instant on its own without me pressing anything

I believe if you uninstall the drivers from Device Manager it should remove it from steel serries. Then just don't plug the 650 dongle in

It could be from steel series trying to run an RGB profile for a game or application and you selecting otherwise confuses it

Open Device Manager, go to Human Interface Devices, find the mouse you want to remove (650 or 700?) And double click

That's mouse and pointing devices wrong place

Ok. So if you hit "uninstall and try to remove drivers as well" them just unplug the 650 dongle, and try to restart your PC

Ok @wild ingot let's see so you uninstall the 650 drivers and restarted PC now one of three things can happen.

1. It goes away on its own

2. You hit "hide" in steelseries GG

3. You reinstall GG one last time 🥴
