usually when you're strafing in games with A/D, when the game sees you have both keys pressed at the same time, you stop moving

when snap tap/SOCD/rapid tap is on, when you press both A/D, the keyboard will release the first key you pressed, so you start moving in the opposite direction faster since the game only sees you pressing one direction

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

For the love of God I’m in desperate need of some advice to fix this……… My buddies voice volume in discord is ridiculously lower than Warzone game audio. I’ve maxed out the volume as much as I can and the only way to SOMEWHAT balance it is to lower game volume to 70 and even push my dongle to 30-40% chat volume rather than in the middle between game and chat. Even then it’s not the best and it drowns out any game audio or footsteps.

Does anyone have any idea or experience here? I have discord set to sonar chat and I’ve pretty much tried every basic change but I’ve had zero luck.

the gamedac gen 2 is wired only. By the looks of things. Steel Series is trying to Keep Wired sales up by giving you a supposedly newer/better Base Station. Even those once you actually use the compare feature on the website. You are getting a mid-range headset at best. If you really want actually pro/clear audio. Get the Wireless

What does the new Apex Pro Actuation Profile do because it just stays still for me even when I press

As a PSA, the Apex Pro Actuation has 4 different colors, for each separate 1mm you move the actuation, It unfortunately doesn't react to the actuation of your key, Rather it shows a Static Heat Map of your Actuations

at 0-0.9 its red, 1-1.7 its Yellow, 1.8 is Blue, 1.9-2.9 is Purple, and 3-4 its blue

So, i have the arctic pro 7x or whatver it is. I am having issues where when i used to turn my pc on it would automatically make those default. Now it just sets it to some other default and I have to manually each time i load up pc switch it back to the 7x

from your messages it looks like it's working as intended! it just shows a heatmap of actuation values. unfortunately it can't dynamically show actuation throw as that data doesn't actually leave the keyboard. i'll certainly forward a suggestion for different key colors for rapid trigger!

you can try deleting your drivers for ur keyboard, i do believe windows will redownload them on restart

hello, can anyone help with an issue i'm having with my arctics nova 7p? my headset will disconnect when I die in Valorant and won't reconnect unless I unplug & re-plug my dongle back in my pc. this is the only time I ever experience disconnection issues.
