Well, I've followed the instructions to the letter for the firmware update and now I'm on step 3 where it asked me to disconnect the dongle and to reconnect the mouse using that same USB cable. I did that. The step isn't updating and I can't press start.

Heh, problem is that I'm an MMO gamer and I've been using 12 button mice for years, I was using a Redragon but the software for that version was... horrendous. This mouse appeared to be one of the few recommended to me that had 12 buttons and was said to not degrade easily (cough Razer MMB)

It’s not software, it’s a firmware update. Meaning it changes how the keyboard works and what it can do. And no need for a new keyboard cause wooting added it to their keyboards, and same with razer. And what was bannable was using scripts. There’s a difference between third party software and hardware and it’s firmware.

Hi, Regarding the issue with Sonar not finding default devices and seeming that Sonar is broken, Ive been advised from SS that the developers are looking into this matter and will provide a fix as soon as possible but no ETA can be given.

Sort of. Ive been back and forth with SS customer support and despite about 5 different fixes they have no clue and theyve recognised its not an isolated issue. Just for reference since the update prior to 67 Sonar does not recognise default hardware - headset, Mic etc... therefore cannot route apps etc. just got to wait for a fix apparently.

There is no point trying to fix broken headsets I have 5+ years of electrical installation, maintenance and repair in my job and I have never been able to fix a pair of headsets your best bet is to buy another pair of headphones I recommend logitech g pro x headphones or another steelseries headset or try a quality pair of IEMs which give amazing audio fidelity

By looking at that broken headset up in the chat isn't a normal wear and tear issue by looking at it.. Have had and still have around 5-6 different headset for some more than 8-10y and my most recent Nova Pro I had since they came out so prolly around 2y and none of my headsets have broken like that, only issue is the fake leather! So it all depends mostly how you handle them..
