This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

It's only the Xbox version that is compatible with Xbox. It has 2 USB-C ports. On the non-Xbox version both ports works with PC/PlayStation. On the Xbox version one USB-C port only works with Xbox

i plugged it in my pc and it automaticly say firmware update available
i downloaded GG, went to engine, it detect my headset but dont say i have a firmware update available

little comparison question for headsets.
if we compare something like arctis7+ with hyperx cloud 2 or 3 wireless and maybe also razer blackshark v2 pro is steelseries better or is any other model little better in actual usage

all i see is youtube videos promoting whatever they get sponsored for but i want to know actual usage and quality difference in audio only. i dont care about mic since im using an external one

Coming from HypeX Cloud 2's, to Steelseries Novo Pro's

The Nova Pro's are a lot better

Minus the leatherette ear cushions and the software sucks

i already have cloud 2 and i dont feel like they have the best audio but i have the wired ones with the super long cable and the small audio card and garbage 7.1 which doesnt really feel like doing anything

and now im waiting for todays delivery of arctis 7+ to see if there will be any difference.

and also i heard a lot that its not much upgrade from nova to the regular arctis so i went with the cheaper one. Arctis 7+ 👀. i hope that wasnt a mistake also but that was the best i can do for a headset budget

whenever i open up an app with audio being used from my headset it goes to like a really tinny terrible sounding quality for 5 seconds then it cuts back in to the normal audio quality

Stick drift in both sticks, pushing the sticks in gets really sensitive over time, ABXY become mushy quite fast and the paddles because mushy after a while

how do you set default audio outputs in solar?

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.
