I dunno if anyone else has had this happen - I got the arctis nova pro wireless, normally whenever I toggle between inputs it will automatically change the channels to be the headset, same for when I turn the PC on. However, as of late it doesn't swap no matter what, I have to go in to GG and set each channel up every time. Any others had any issues or know a fix?

My friend bought me a SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 for my birthday in April and I've had nothing but issues with the thing. Every time I think I fixed it I have issues again. Usually with it not connecting or the sound not coming through the headset even though the computer is saying the sound is working. Yesterday it was working and today just no sound again even though I try restarting the headset and the computer. I've never had this much issue with a headset even the cheap ones.

I bought my Arctis Nova 7 wireless headset a little over a month ago and now started to run into my first issue. I followed the steps, but still no luck. The 3.5mm jack still works, but however the wireless won't work, because the Headset doesn't want to turn on. I plugged it in and a green light blinks a little then goes dark. You know if they are working on the reset bug for audio? Because every time my pc goes on sleep mode the sonar app resets all my audio settings and also for my clips

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Despite reaching out to Steelseries Support for assistance, I have found their support to be unhelpful. Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate a direct contact method to reach out to the developers for support. This lack of communication channels with the developers is hindering my ability to resolve the persistent app closure issue and the subsequent audio disruptions

Subsequently, I have heard that every time someone tries to bring awareness to issues on the Discord, they shut them down and delete their posts. Boycott Steelseries when you can; They don't care about their customers nor about the quality of their products; They are as bad as China these days.

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

volume mixer is "broken" when you have GG with sonar
