I just installed sonar and I’m having problems signing in. Whenever I try to sign in, it says that my password is incorrect but when I reset it, it still says it’s incorrect. Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

should be on the steelseries engine app. go to devices, select the apex pro tkl. you might need to expand the tab that opens up to see the OLED button. if you click on that you can either create your own display or upload a gif file

I have the Arctis Nova Pro and ever since I updated back in Feb-March time, think it was "Update 58"
I have had issues with it changing constantly, especially when doing the quick battery change. It always flicks back to "wired connection" or "Soundbar"

I have tried a re-install with no luck.

It was perfect before.

I have the Arctis Nova Pro and ever since I updated back in Feb-March time, think it was "Update 58"
I have had issues with it changing constantly, especially when doing the quick battery change. It always flicks back to "wired connection" or "Soundbar"

I have tried a re-install with no luck.

It was perfect before.

I have sonar set as seen in the photo.

But now it constantly changes willy nilly LOL

turn off fallback if you don't want the outputs changing in sonar

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

there is no FPS toggle, it's just saying "GG services are only turned on when you opt in, so it won't be taking frames away if you opt out"

you can turn off the various apps in GG like sonar and moments in the settings

You can't control the headset through Bluetooth and I'd very much recommend against using Bluetooth for gaming

howdy i've bought an nova pro wireless today the battery that was in the headset wasn't charged so i swapped it with the other one, i tried charging the battery that was empty but it stays empty in the dac it shows the battery and the charging icon but no bar progression.

in engine you may test microphone and adjust settings on your headset internal configuration

from there Sonar does the rest, if anything I'd advise trying out the headset without Sonar feature turned on

it may yield better results to make sure headset is working properly

Sonar can be shutdown by closing steelseries GG software...check on discord, test sound on youtube, spotify, apple music

From there if everything is fine, open up steelseries check inputs, are they selected to the headset, device fallback as well

if you had the software before setting up your headset you may have another device selected as default

GG software is known to just be ass

their products are usually pretty good, but the software is just so bad, with constant updates that dont change anything besides wipe configs and settings

I am not getting my game to play through my headset on game channel on the mixer. if I switch the audo setting to aux channel it will play through headset. If I switch it back it plays through my monitor speakers. any idea?

For whatever reason, if I have the app for my headphones on then my music bot on discord sounds so bad I cant even hear it most of the time but if I turn off the app I can hear it perfectly but then the mic picks up so much background noise its unreal. try checking if there's noise cancelling on in discord or in sonar for your chat devices. sometimes noise cancelling with pick up music and mute it.

Sorry Im not very tech savy but this has been killing me because I dont want anyone to have to hear my kids talking in the background but without the sonar on its a nightmare lol

I doubt it will come to any of the existing headsets as it needs a new wireless chip so if you want the EQ feature now there's only the 5's

not sure whats going on but as of yestersay im getting an issue on my arctis nova pro wirelesswhile talking people im talking to say my mic suddenly sounds trash and the mic gets more sensitive picking up keyboard presses ect then it suddenly stops again. i really dont know whats going since they cant properly convey to me whats happening. all i know is yes i can in fact see that my mic gets more sensitive and actually pics up the sound of a video im watching on youtube leaking out the headphones to the mic. Normally i can mash keys on my keyboard and the mic never pics it up but when they bug happens i can breath and discord detects it. i dont know if this is a GG issue or discord though

Do you get the problem in discord if yes you need to change the microphone sensitive I also got the problem that everyone could here people talking in another room but after changing the sensitive everything was fine

well like right now everything is fine i can mash the hell out of my keyboard and discord wont detect it then i can be sat here in silence and suddenly ill talk and it sounds trash and i can gently tap my spacebar and people can hear it. Then after about 20-40 seconds it goes back to normal.
