@silent dove its easiest for me to put steelseriesgg into streamermode, then from here say what i want to hear where what is mic, what output n all... sometimes - in my case every day, i have to manualy open steelseriesgg as it wont open on startup and if i forget i do hear sound but noone hears me as i set my mic in game to steelseries mic... here u can also see what you hear - headphones, or what stream-output hears ...

Hey everyone, can someone help me please, I tried everything I could think of, it doesn't make sense at all the headset is not working properly, does someone have the availability to go on the voice channel just a bit to help me solve the issue hopefully?

Only the channel Headphones (2-Arctis Nova 7) works with the headset, when I change to any sonar sound channel like gaming, voice, etc. The sound comes from the TV... Why is this happening and how can I possibly solve it. This all Started when I bought my new Samsung TV, before I had an Hisense, I use a TV as a PC monitor basically, but why would the TV even affect this?

Figure out if it’s coming from the air or not by moving the high end sliders in mic settings down. If it is, then try to figure out what it’s coming from (air conditioning/fans etc) and fix that. Otherwise try hanging some thick stuff up to minimize echo

hey everyone, I have just bought an Artic Nova Pro Wireless, but I'm having some issues with the mic using the GG software.

if I use the Sonar configured virutal mic, it doesn't work. I try to use it on discord but it simply doesnt work. If I switch to the default output on Window's sound settings it does work

I've tested it on my wife's laptop, and after a clean install it does work using the Sonar virtual mic. I've tried to remove everything from my laptop and reinstall, and it started working, but after I've rebooted my laptop it stopped working again

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

If you are having issues with routing not working or apps moving back to another device after dragging them, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

If you are having issues with routing not working or apps moving back to another device after dragging them, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

You're sending the audio to the wrong device

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Can someone help me figure out what is going on with my steelseries headset software? I put a new GPU in my PC and had to switch to an HDMI cord. Now my (default) settings always go to my Bose loud speakers instead of my headset. On Sonar, if you go into 'Settings' & scroll down into the 'Sonar' tab, you should find 'Backup Device Switch'. At the bottom, you'll see a priority list of which inputs Sonar should prioritise when available. Drag your stuff up the top & shouldn't be an issue again 🙂

Hello, I have an issue where the Oleds of my Steelseries Apex pro keyboard and GameDac of Arctis Nova pro wireless are taken over by moments, which is behaviour I never asked for yet for the life of me can't seem to turn of, even when unchecking moments Oled notifications. This efectively blocks the things I want displayed on my OLEDs, often just running the message "Steelseries moments is running", and when the message prompt finally disappears it makes the keyboard LEDs flicker as well on top of that. This behaviour started a few weeks back and the only solution I found so far is completely turning of moments which isn't much of a solution at all. I wonder if someone else is experiencing similar issues?

If you turn off Moments OLED notifications these should go away after changing headset volume but if you play games that support gamesense the bug will keep happening anyway.
