looks like its giving you the option for left and right audio thats being played so if theres a way to group them like they are on the left when your editing it should make it a little easier other then that im not really sure how you could change that

i don't think so, i've tried everything and it doesn't improve, these are the worst headsets i've ever used

the microphone works for me, it only picks up the sound that comes out of the headphones, not my voice. the sound can only be turned down in virtual machine when i select the normal headset it is only at 100 decibels and i can't change it at all, so i have to switch to virtual machine sometimes the sound is gone from the virtual machine then i have to reinstall the software. it's just not a good headset i've tried everything but nothing works

SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Sonar is not detecting the Virtual Audio devices that it created.
Windows detects the virtual channels, and is attempting to use them.

In the backup devices, none of the virtual audio devices are listed, so it is defaulting to my speakers.

I'm guessing there was an update overnight, which has just added to the awful experience GG can provide. This is clearly an issue many people are experiencing.

I don't know much about Sonar, but I think this might help the sound play through your headset instead of your monitor:
In the GG settings, scroll down in the left menu to find "Backup Device Switch", and if there is a Device Priority List, then ensure your headphones are at the top of that list.

solution: go to GG app > settings > backup device switch > move all playback device to excluded > move them one more time to the playback devices, with your headset on top > do it for chat, media etc.

Hello guys, I'm considering to get an Arctis Nova 1 mainly for competitive gaming. I use a 5 years old laptop. Do you guys think it's a good choice at this price?

(My old one is Arctis 3 2019 edition which always has this low volume problem whenever I shut down and turn on my laptop again for some reason)

Go to GG settings/down to Sonar tab/Backup device switch and you can set the order and exclude devices from there

Does anybody have a setup for getting a stream deck to just open the GG program?

Also be warned that this fix is not 100%. It'll stay most of the time, but occasionally it goes wonky and you have to set it up again. I just had to reset mine as I was going through the steps to provide that walkthrough. If you're on NVIDIA, I can say that driver updates mess it up every time if you a clean installation like I do.

Around 25gb left, 32gb of ram installed

@candid cragokwindows does a pagefile for virtual swap drive ok right so it uses your 32 gig and multiplies it by 1.5 so your page file needs to be 48gig and you only have 25 gig left if you can move the page file to a drive with more space or free up some space on your main drive

so it cannot effectively clip or do anything else becareful as you can also end up corrupting windows

ive been using it just fine for the past 6 months and i had less than 20gbs available, it just suddenly stopped working today

Usually it uses 20% of my gpu, now its just at 0% and thats why its not working

If i end task then it comes back and it works fine till i tab out and it goes back to 0
