It depends, wired has a few milliseconds of delay, but is easier to travel with and use with a laptop. While wired is almost 0 delay, even though unless you play in tournaments it most likely doesn’t matter if it’s wired or wireless. Also, wired will not require charging or changing out the batteries every so often. The last thing to consider is that wireless is more expensive than wired. Personally, if I’m ok with spending the money, I would buy the wireless. However, if you know that you will not be using it on anything but your desktop PC, wired would have to be the way to go.

hello, it seems like Steelseries GG doesn't start for me at all after the new update.
As I tried starting the app, it did not load, despite this, I sought to restart the computer and try running it again, no dice. As a last resort, I ran it as administrator and I kept close watch of the app via Task Manager. Not only did it not load, but in the task manager, it looked like the app started then closed itself. What can I do? Do I perform a clean installation?

Today I got a SteelSeries Arctis nova pro and as I've been using the headset through out the day and apprently the microphone was getting quieter and quieter until it could no longer pick up sound, I have tinkered with the settings on the gg app, as well as on the windows 11 settings page, Discord, and the windows 11 control panel. I've searched up countless tutorials, unplugged and replugged the headset the headset into different sockets on my pc, used different cables, checked the reviews if people found a fix to my protentional issue, and yet through everything I have only seemed to make it worse, I should also mention I got the headset from best buy a week ago but just unboxed it today (I don't know if that will help with anything but Im super desperate at this point) so if anyone could give advice on why this 160 dollar headset has one of the most inconstant microphones Ive every used or(and) how I could fix this issue, your help will be very appreciated

I would recommend using GG to make sure the firmware is up to date, but it should just be plug and play with the dongle in the PS5. Just make sure the switch is right on the dongle, so not Xbox :D

I just bought the Arctis Pro + GameDAC headset and the mic is extremely low, It only works if i have the mic literally in my mouth, i think something is wrong i don't know if it's a hardware problem or software problem, I'm using windows 11, tried installing SteelSeries Engine and played a little with the config but with no luck. any help? 😦

Yep, Xbox one can work on PC, Xbox (obviously) PS5 and Nintendo, PS5 versions can not work on Xbox though so imo always better to get the Xbox version just incase you ever decide to use Xbox you have the option

Hello, Having issues with my Arctis Pro Wireless, please help.
So when i'm in a game and suddenly i don't do anything that produces a natural/high level of sound than all sound gets cut off in the game, i can still hear my budies in discord but the game is muted until i fire a shot or do something that `breaches certain threshhold of sound... I'm looking for advice on creating a gaming audio setup with an Alias Pro mic and external speakers. Love my Arctis Nova Pro but would also like to be able to game without a headset sometimes. My only worry is the background noise of my speakers while gaming: I don't want to ruin the gaming experience for my fireteam. I have a 5.1 speaker system and plenty of room for a mic boom. Would hate to spend hundreds of dollars just to find out my fireteam can hear every keystroke (my keyboard is noisy but I'm willing to replace it) and my speaker audio and possibly even feedback.

First few days everything was fine, but then suddenly my mic stopped working properly and I couldnt get it to work. My voice is very muted and people cant hear me with having me on +150% volume on discord.

Hello, I was using Steelseries Arctis 1 Wireless headphones and I used them for a very long time without any problems. Today I turned off my computer and went out and when I came home I noticed that the headset was not visible to the computer.
I thought the Type C port was not working, but even if I removed the USB port, the device was visible. I can't see it at all right now. Is there anyone experiencing the situation?

Just in case anybody searches this discord for an answer. I was able to get my headset functional with Linux. I did the initial set up with a Windows computer but I think you can avoid that with a program called "headsetcontrol", it will let you check battery level, change EQ, sidechat, etc.

Hi guys not sure if this is the right channel but I've just watched a YT video where the guy leaves a link to an EQ preset in the description and says that when clicked it opens up GG and becomes a preset I can select. But when I click, it opens up GG but I can't see it on the list of presets. (I'm on xbox if this helps)
