Before a day when i close arctic pro wirless i got the sound in my speackers back now nothing i see in the mixer the sound bar to playing up and down but i dont have voice from our speacker. I have recently bought the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro but compared to my previous headset the volume is very low. When I installed it, it asked me if I was located within the US or EU and I chose US to not limit the volume. But even with PC volume to 100% and the station/dock to 100% and spotify to around 30-35% the volume is pretty low. Can even see it within the image that the bar is almost not visible. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The sound to the headset is low because the sound into Sonar is low. You could try turning Sonar off to see if that's what is causing the issue and set Windows to output directly to the headset

100% on spotify is definitely loud but the difference from 35% to 100% is insane compared to 1-35% which is almost no difference. Seems like I have to go above 50% to actually get a decent volume if that makes any sense

Hello guys, Im using the Arctic pro GameDac (wired) and my mic overdrives when i start CS2 or CSGO, because of this my microphone gets really loud in Discord and ingame in CS2. When i unplug and plug in the cable again from the GameDac it seems to work again. What can i do to fix this?

I think it has something to do with the deactivation of the AI Noise Cancellation because when i lower the mic volume in the Windows settings my mic automatically gets louder even if i go from 100 to 80. I think the AI Noise cancellation gets deactivated when i start cs2 or change the microphone volume in windows settings.

I am not using the Sonar software.

That's because sonar devices are actually virtual, and SS didn't even bother to make the master volume respond to media keys

This is normal. The firmware and software to the Steelseries base station shuts off the volume control to Windows on keyboard.

I solved this by testing plugging in headphones directly to the computer back audio jack.

Then when you open discord

It comes up on the mixer

And you can move it to where you want

And any game you open

Move it to game and select the preset for whatever you’re playing

And people rate the Audeze Maxwells more but I don’t get it, less features and yeah it might sound better out the box, but you can configure these so well

That original message was about the 7, not the 7+. I don't recall the 7+ method off the top of my head, but have you checked in the software? Clicking the gear icon that appears when hovering over a device in Engine shows a menu that usually contains the device pairing support

Has anyone had experiences with the backup audio device swapping perfectly one day, but the next simply not functioning?

Used to be when I'd turn off my headset my speakers would kick in automatically, but it's simply... not.

I've run test audio through them with the control panel, so I know they're powered and receiving input via the appropriate channel.

Backup device switch in Sonar is set up just like it was when it was functioning correctly.

Works fine if I unplug the base station, though... That ain't really ideal.

Used to work simply on headset power-down.

Huh. Mysterious. Unplugging the base station and plugging it back in seems to have allowed it to automatically swap between the two again.

The traditional tech fix proves its timelessness yet again.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question in regard to Sonar. Have any of you had any issues with the software interfering with Adobe Premiere Pro 24? I had an issues where Adobe PP stuttered during play back. I suspect that it has to do with the audio processing but I do not know enough about how it works. This is one of the newly installed software that I have added to my PC when I have run into this issue.

depends on what you're looking for, what headset are you coming from, and how big ears you have

being wireless is cool, and the spatial audio for games is amazing, you can hear everything from the exact location you should hear them

downsides are, it has an ANC knob inside the speakers, which you can feel and it makes it pretty comfortable, so you have to spend 30-40€ more for wicked cushions

and the sound quality they say is "amazing", but i think only in gamer headset region, in reality its not very good for music, my €60 sennheiser hd400s are better for music

can someone tell me why the arctis nova 1x comes with a nonfunctional mic, and why the audio in the left ear stopped working an hour after I unboxed it while I'm STILL trying to figure out how to work the mic???

No it wasn't drivers, no it wasn't muted, no it wasn't anything I can fix through troubleshooting or control panel, the microphone of the headset just doesn't get recognized by the computer. It seems this is a widespread issue. Why? Why still sell them if that's the case and there's no fix (as everyone on the internet seems to claim, anyhow)

Hello! im in need of some help with my sonar, basically it doesnt see my arctis headset as a playback device anymore.. it does however still see the headsets microphone so thats still in there.. how do i make it recognize the headset in sonar?

when I ads I dont hear the bullet sounds at all

and then when I leave it off and do some finangling, its back to normal
