Y'all are known to experiment with interesting shapes and layouts for mice, is there any reason a proper gaming vertical mouse hasn't been tried?

The "best" vertical mouse gaming-wise I can find is the Trust Rexx which has a 3325, what seems to be a subpar shape compared to the Evoluent(which is dq'd due to sensor quality), a poor cable, and what might even be a tolerable mouse coating.

The other relevant consideration is the Azeron Cyro which has even less tilt and thus less ergonomic benefit as far as a mouse goes in regard to achieving the appropriate orientation of the wrist, but has a 3360. Both are complete bricks, and the Cyro is at a "moon" price point because it was made as a combo keypad+mouse+thumbstick first and foremost.

The primary challenge usability-wise to overcome for gaming from the vertical mice I did test would be the issue of the mouse pivoting on the tip of the thumb when clicking(preventable with excessive hand tension, but don't do that beyond proof of concept because it's worse for your hands than just using a normal mouse please) which caused aim variations similar to aiming in an fps with a drawing tablet and using the pen press as lmb which could probably be fixed to the point of "within error" with lighter clicks, also solving the leverage issue where it's harder to click in a vertical orientation.

I know I'd pay out the ass for a vertical wireless mouse even with standard omrons and a little wiggle because of it, and most other input device enjoyers have had more than a wink and a nod toward the same sentiment when I've asked, ignoring the subset of people who just simply need accessibility devices. This idea/question came back to mind because of a talk in the b0xxcord about someone stuck gaming on a pth460 because he can't find a mouse he can use due to hand issues, for example.

hey, I'm trying to use Sonar with OBS, but I'm probably missing something. I add Audio Input/Output capture on OBS and set it to SteelSeries Sonar - Microphone/Chat/Gaming/etc, but the sound "settings" does not match the ones in Sonar, i.e if I mute or reduce the volume of the thing in Sonar, I can still see it in OBS as if it were at 100% volume

The good thing when I do use Sonar is that i just switch mic's back and fourth in the mixer and it works again... Sound issues on my voice and friend's on discord

Why is my voice and my friend's voice in discord fast forwarding and sounding grounded all of a sudden while streaming? It was working fine for days then suddenly like 20 minutes in stream all of a sudden we sounded fast forwarded like fast forwarding a movie with a dialogue on stream and sounded grounded. Would appreciate all your help thanks!

Found a video suggesting that i put all my sound input and output to 48000hz sound format but the problem is the sond output of steel series - gaming Output doesn't have a 48000hz optioon at advanced sound settings it is only locked at 96000hz.

Update: I somehow found the problem, I closed the steel series app entirely therefore closing steel series sonar. Windows switched to default audio without the various enchancements of steelseries sonar. I can now see the 48000hz option but I still want to use the sonar because it helps alot noise suppression, sound quality and etc. Is there a way to convert 96000hz of steel series sonar headphones to 48000hz?

Hey guys quick question here! I ended up uninstalling Steelseries GG app from my computer as it wouldn't let me sign in, (at all). Sign in on the website works great. Does anyone have any advise?

The error message was: Wrong username/password. and it was 100% correct.

After filing a support ticket, Steelseries said they would look into it as computers running behind a VPN masked network, are having issues logging in. However, I have always logged in behind a VPN and since late Oct 2023 - that is the first time this has happened since I installed Steelseries this summer when I first got the product.

See how there's two ports? One is for the output (the sound you hear) and the other is the microphone in the headset. Those port doesn't support combojack (a combination of the two) like a game controller does.

So you'll need an adapter that can take the combojack from the headset and split it into a headphone and mic jack
