I currently have an very old (2016/2017) Arctics 7. Nothing wrong with it other than feeling the need to upgrade due to low quality mic output; I’ve been wanting to get Arctis 7 Pro Wireless but it’s been sold out for years? At least every time I check.

I was wondering if it was worth just upgrading to Arctis Nova Pro Wireless—the only reason I haven’t taken the plunge is aesthetic reasons (I like the white) but also some reviews stating the upgrades from Arctis 7 Pro WL were mediocre. Can anyone share their experience w it or suggest if it’s worth upgrading or should I wait it out for Arctis 7 Pro? Or another suggestion?

TLDR: have a 2016/17 Arctis 7 WL, should I upgrade to Arctis Nova Pro WL or wait for Arctis 7 Pro WL to restock?

When i had my astro a40’s there were detailed videos showing how to set them up properly

When I'm gaming I use gaming & my EQ preset for Rust.

When I'm watching a movie or something of that nature I use my other sound options.

In the steelseries software each tab you can edit corresponds to the audio output.

For example, gaming would apply to the "Steelseries something something (gaming)" audio output.

I'm on mobile ATM so it's hard to give you exact answers, but is this what you're looking for?

Hello guys I'm having a problem with my apex pro TKL 2023 keyboard, One key has a different colors than the other. I'm using preset from GG. It was fine until now. Any idea how can I fix this ?

I need help.
The software does not seem to find my headphones (Arctic Pro Wireless) under the Sonar tap. It does however know it is there, and I could configure it on it's own. But the program still gives me the warning triangle.
I had to make an update, because it would not connect anymore.
I deinstalled and reinstalled everything. Updated the drives. And the problem is the same.
I looked if there are any old dives to go back, but I did not find anything.
And as soon as I close and reopen the app I get a loading circle that goes on for ages...
I have the deep worry that sonar is somehow broken down... and with that nothing is working properly....
Windows it selfs connects with the headset.

Other Problems:
-cloud sync is temperaly disabled, and I can't get to my saved settings
System: Win10

So, if anyone knows a way to get this running again I would be super happy, I have tried for hours now......

hi, I bought a arctis 7+ headset, and i only have problems since then. My friends literally told me that they hear my voice as if it was coming from shitty earphones, i can't seems to find any options on the GG software to correct it.
The quality of the hearing sound was only acceptable only once i set it up on the software. The sound often disconnect on its own to comeback after 1 or 2 seconds and when it happens, all the sound coming from the various applications of my PC doesn't all comeback to the headset.

Example :
I played CS GO on steam, the headphone (or the sound coming from it) disconnect/reconnect after 2-3second.
But during that time CSGO sounds went to my monitor speakers, and was still on it after the headset reconnection.

I'm really thinking of returning it and look for a better headset...

Is this what you mean Alice? if you look right of where it says AIR you have that little down arrow you can switch from default to voice. It's also found in Game and chat so it helps you to see what to tweak. I hope it helps a little bit..

Depending on what you're using your HS for? I would say try one of the defaulted configs, if you feel something is lacking or is over powered but it's still a decent config. Copy that one and try fine tuning it more to your liking. For your Mic. basically same thing and press that record button and listen back until you find it to sound good.. 🙂

i was considering that too... was looking for a full size keyboard without mechanical switches since my last one had chattering problems and hotswappable boards are not common with the gaming brands. but i didn't get it. cuz only the main keys are optical and the rest are normal mechanical switches... also even tho it has adjustable activation point, its not analog. no rapid trigger etc. ended up getting a huntsman v2 analog. wooting is technically better but us layout was out of stock and it would be an international purchase. razer was available locally...

if you dont need analog, regular huntsman v2 is technically better. higher polling rate and lower response time. also the switches are quieter than the analog.

For me it's weird hearing my own voice while talking it freezes me up.
