anyone else notice a design flaw with the steel series arctis pro headset? it's held up by one dangling thingy and has gotten worst over time for me. not sure if others noticed this but always wondered why it is designed this way.

i see other headsets designed a bit better to prevent this from happening so hopefully this feedback will help the Steelseries team. 🤷‍♂️ just sharing in case others getting this after time too. Don't hate the headset at all, just how it is designed.. the audio quality is amazing and love the steelseries engine that comes with this headset. 🙂

For me to change I need to use the base station to do it.. Press the big volume wheel and the option should appear for you.. When I use my Nova Pro W if I turn them off and my soundbar is the sound source then I can do it in the software!

Cool thanks for the help and I'll try to figure it out It works so far with game and multi-use like gaming listening to music at the same time I have not been able to join a party chat with my friends for asleep to see if audio works as well in game on the Xbox just thought I could be able to program it a little better but audio and that is still good I can program it on PC so if I connect it to PC it would work that way but trying to avoid that

as far as i know from my own headset i can have the phone and the pc connected at the same time

like idk, if you have bluetooth on your pc or you get an usb receptor you might as well use it on these two... but the battery will run out faster

Got a weird thing happening on the Apex Pro keyboard. F2 and ENTER on the number pad are doing their own thing colour wise while the rest is in sync. I've factory reset it too. 😐 it seems to work when i choose a full-keyboard preset except for the purple haze which makes them turn red and fade between red and the spectrum instead of pink/purple. However, if i manually choose colours it won't work. It seems only work if the colours are reds and oranges. if i pick blue, it'll turn F2 and Enter on the num pad pink :S It's really infuriating. it's like the software isn't controlling those two keys specifically. (They are selected).

You'll need to disassemble the whole thing and solder the current switches off to put in new ones, you can't just do it without tools when the switch isn't hotswap

You also need to be sure the new switch is compatible

i dont use sonar at all. turn it off. set your headset to 7.1 surround sound. dynamic compression on to low or med and keep Sound pre-req set to default (no changes ) or set to Gaming. Sonar messes up my sound. default with no sonar on sounds better.

Hello, does anyone know some settings for the microphone of Nova Pro Wireless to make it sound somewhat better? I am certainly disappointed of the out of the box experience of the microphone, consiadering my 4-5 years old Arctis 5 headset microphone sound better, and the fact that they cost 370euro MSRP .. I would like to suggest that the interface for the software be adjusted with these features as if you are using a secondary monitor thats in portrait mode for content creation and keeping an eye on things there is no other way to make this smaller or snap into it and overlaps. I really like your noise reduction in the application, but there is a very annoying thing that is very annoying.
After the first launch of Sonar, it offers to set up a "mixer" "game" "chat" and other auxiliary functions, I do not need these functions except for "microphone", and the fact is that the above functions appear in the Windows sound device, I disabled them so that they I was not disturbed, but after exiting their SteelSeries GG application and then re-entering, then disabled playback devices reappear. How well designed are the presets in Sonar?

I got wired artics nova pro today and the presets per game are perfect. Its crazy how well you can hear things without having to tweak the presets themselves. There are presets for a bunch of games.

Only fiveM can no longer do that. fivem has been added as a game. I had to click on the .exe file. but for now he doesn't see that I'm playing FiveM and so I can't save any footage. Normally after 10 seconds it gave me the onboarding screen, I completed it probably 50 times on PC and a couple times on phone. But rejoining fixed it.

I just wanted to share with you, and everyone in this fine community of Steelseries, that I replaced my mainboard to a: ASRock B550M PRO4 AM4 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard and it comes with the onboard sound system called: Nahimic by SteelSeries and its really nice!

Does SteelSeries recommend Sonar or Nahimic in a Nahimic Windows system?

Hi Just got a aerox 9 deliverd to me today. I was setting it up and updated everything. Started to play a game and it started to lose connection (flashing white). When I turned the mouse off and back on to restart it no lights are showing up and it isn't connecting. Did the update brick the mouse?

I am so confused regarding the "ANC" and "Transparent"
On my DAC it shows ANC: ON but Transparent is: OFF and I can't turn it on to set it to level 1

Sonar only lists one device, "Realtek digital output".

While it should also be listing "Steelseries Sonar - Gaming" / Chat / Microphone etc..

Try this: Unplug the DAC desktop device two USB cables, and plug them into two new USB ports.

The headset comes with 2 but you only use 1 from the DAC into your desired device.

The extra USB is to plug it into the headset which is pretty much only needed for firmware updates because the app requires both devices to be on USB connection.

No, I am referring to the interface software which connects your DAC to the Windows OS by switching USB ports and then it will re-activate it.

You do not use the 3.5mm jack.

If you are a PC user all you do is connecting the the USB from DAC to a USB port in your PC.
Check the gear icon next to "MASTER" and try to select: "Headphones" (Arctis Nova Pro Wireless) on stream mix you select SteelSeries Sonar Stream

If you just got yours, head to engine and firmware update it. I received mine today and it had "critical firmware updates" that needed to be done.

Maybe this is what prevents it to be shown in the app.

How do you turn your headset on? On the arctic nova pro wireless I have to hold the on/off button for 3 seconds before it turns on.
