Hello, I have the Steelseries Arctis 1 Wireless and I have an issue with my right ear cushion (not really the right ear cushion but with my right ear lol). The right ear cushion doesn't really fit my right ear and I can see that it's always falling and the ear cushion standing on my right ear instead of around it (I hope I was clear enough)

This problem causes pain in my right ear after a long session with the headset because the headset ear cushion is standing on my right ear like an on-ear headset, while they are supposed to be over-ear headset.

It's a problem with my ears so if you consider buying the Arctis 1 Wireless don't reject it.

Anyway, I'm consider to upgrade to the Steelserise Arctis Nova 7 and I want to see the size of the ear cushions of the Nova 7 compared to the Arctis 1 Wireless to see if upgrading them will solve my problem, because it's an health problem so it's important.

If anyone here knows the size, I would like to know. I think a bigger ear cushions will solve my problem.

Right after installing the app, I can only choose the option "Microphone" or "Headphones" (3- Arctis 7+), hopefully somebody can help me. Damn. Turns out the steel series I used is the one for laptops. Arctics 1. Our CPU has two jacks for speaker and microphone. That's why the mic didn't detect steel series and just detected the default mic

Yes.. Sonar is just where you put your input/outputs and then inside windows you choose which virtual Sonar input/output to use for which ever program, browser etc. I'm jumping between my HS and soundbar for sound and mic on HS and my cam mic. Examples: chat for discord, skype etc. media for spotify, youtube apps. aux for my browsers and game for games obv.

It's combo jack vs dual jack and it doesn't matter which kind of device you have. Both desktops and laptops can have either. The good thing is that there's often an included adapter to change it over to the other version or it's pretty cheap to buy a generic one

ANC isn't going to block out a lot of higher pitched sounds like a mouse click or clicky keyboard switches. What it will do is lower the noise of room fans, PC fans, A/C, background noise from outside your bedroom window, that kinda stuff.

I bought the arctis nova wireless pro, to replace my arctis wireless pro. I just found out, that nova doesn't support line in jack. I was hyped for the headset as soon as I spotted the line in/out jacks on the product images. Because arctis pro doesn't support the line out jack (as far as used with the line in jack). What I don't get is why add an line in jack if you're not supporting it? And I'm not willing to wait for an Updates that adds support to the line in jack. So for now I stay with my arctis wireless pro. I got it to work, just had some troubles with the setup.

i'm having an issue with steelseriesgg program not picking up my USB mic. The mic works until I open the program. It's set a default in windows (usb mic) and i've also switched it to sonar microphone with the usb mic selected in mixer. Nothing works.

my nova 7s have been great but i feel like i either just hit a weird point or i'm about to have an issue with audio clipping during FFXIV. to be sure theres a lot of audio during busy fights but i will not stand for that being a problem. lol

I cannot get any audio to work. Headset is paired. Tried to uninstall and reinstall GG numerous times. Tried Bluetooth, plugged in, double/triple checking windows settings. Nothing works. Removed and reinstalled drivers. Idk what it is. Only audio I get is beeping when it pairs. Works fine when I connect to my phone Bluetooth

Strikes me as a software or pc issue. Idk what would be installed that would be interfering with headset. Have had plenty of other brands with zero issues. Notice a lot of complaints about software online though

yeah, that is how used to get the old engine before GG for my work computers

still don't understand why they bundled the core engine into GG - it is taking me back to the logitech GHUB days, which is the reason I moved all my hardware to steelseries in the first place =/

looks like the old engine links still work too (SteelSeriesEngine3.11.5Setup.exe) but I've taken to just keeping a copy of that installer just incase it gets dropped

my advice for everyone, the best way to avoid all your problems is to not get steelseries in the first place

Keep in mind that there's no support staff here
