hey i have a quick question, i downloaded steelseries gg for the sonar feature to use with escape from tarkov, but every app is automatically using the gaming output and not the media/chat/Aux output. now i have to select the output manually for every programm.

when i try to select the media output as the default, the programm shows the following error:

You need to adjust your settings in windows for what you want to be used as the default. Then you can have each app go to a sepecific output via windows as well

For some reason (perhaps after an update), when my pc starts, Sonar will select pc speakers as output device. It used to be fine, I always have my headset as output device and I want to keep it that way. If it is switched off, there is no sound and that is good.

normally, current should no longer flow through the PC after turning off the source, it's like unplugging it, only the current will be blocked by the source and will not be allowed to enter the rest of the components

I recently bought an Arctis 1 Wireless headset off Amazon for prime day for my PC. I followed all the steps to set up. It was good and my audio was fine however my mic wasnt working properly. My mic would display audio but it wasn't from me it was just a constant buzz in the mic. another way to put it is that there is a fan constantly blowing in my mic. tldr my mic doesnt pick up my audio but displays a buzzing audio

to clarify steps ive done to try to fix the issue

1. my apps are enabled in audio settings
2. my audio settings in windows and discord is correct and has the steelseries mic and headset selected
3. i have downloaded the GG engine in hopes that would fix it

I purchased the product titled 'Arctis 1 Wireless' through Amazon and when it got here everything was fine until I tried to talk to my friends. It would not pick up my voice when I talk but instead sounds like a fan is blaring right into my headset all the time even when I was not talking (There is no fan or background noise in my room). No matter how loud I got my voice was not picked up. As you can see in the provided files, the headset sounds like a fan and I had the right device output and input. I have 2 options for my SteelSeries headset input and tried them both, shown in the photo. Please note, the microphone piece is facing me toward the flat side and no matter the distance I set it at, it does not work. Please get back to me soon with any other questions or a fix.

Punchy bass is not great in some musics, most use neutral bass so some music that does not use high bass sound dead, and nova solved it

I'm guessing you mean nova, as there is no xbox version of the arctis pro wireless, but the only difference is that one of the two inputs in the base station is dedicated for Xbox, while the other one can be used for anything else (the normal one has 2 ports that work with everything but xboxes)

Hey guys, I just got the nova 7p wireless, and I have an issue with the mic sensitivity. When I breathe it is so loud that it would be very distracting to any teammates. I have attempted to lower the sensitivity to the minimum on both my PlayStation and the GG software on my Mac (unfortunately I don’t have windows to use sonar) and it has made almost no difference. I have even put the mic under my chin almost. I understand that turning the wheel on the right ear would change it so I wouldn’t hear it however I’m afraid it will still be insufferable for teammates. Anyone know the solution for this?

Hello guys, I've been having an issue with my Artics 7+ that happens only on discord. For small periods of time when i'm on a voice call , the voice of others and my microphone complete cut off, while other app sounds work perfectly fine.. I can't seem to find any fix on the steelseries threads or on Reddit threads. Is anyone else having this issue? Any help apprectiated!

please help, my Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless does not have a "hole" to reset the headphones, and cannot connect bluetooth to the DAC because it has an error software, can someone help me?? there is no damage to the headset because with the AUX cable connected to the DAC, the sound is going well just a software problem on my headphones, I am frustrated how do I reset my headphones so that they can use bluetooth.

It's analoge, not USB so you won't see anything SteelSeries on the list

y the problem is the phone stay connected. I am not sure it's possible right now but I wonder it that could be added as a choice. I understand people can have the use of leaving their pc but keeping the headset connected to their phone automatically, but for me that's just another step to turn it off

Since you're using a headset with a minijack it's the laptop that is driving the headset with sound

is there someone who is the same as me? "SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless" the headset has been pressed the on button, all bluetooth, power, mic lights are on, and there is no bluetooth connection whatsoever, and also pressed for 6 seconds to reset from the dac there is no response, like there is a software problem in the headset, but I can't do a total reset on the headset because there is no hole available, even firmware updates from steelseries gg cannot be connected to the headset, loading firmware does not run at all even with a usb cable and waiting for several hours. don't know what to do, changing the usb cable also has no effect.

the state on is just like this, there is no response at all with the steelseriesgg or dac application, only use with the aux cable to the dac can still be heard on both sides of the headset, but the use of bluetooth and connection to the application does not work 😭

hello, does anybody know how to fix arctis pro wireless not turning on? The wireless transmitter says its fully charged it shows \▮▮▮▮ in the screen, but when I use that battery it does not turn on, I have to plug a micro usb cable just to turn it on and it shows that the battery level is drained and it does not charge while on microusb cable its not showing the sign 🗲, both my batteries are acting like this. I already installed the latest firmware from the latest ssgg app.
