but only 2% of the max volume is being registered

you'd probably be downgrading since the nova pro headsets have hi-res drivers, but the nova 7 does not

I am but I did a hard restart and after my mouse turned off from the smart illimation thing, the scroll wheel still worked as intended. If it doesn't work again after turning off from Illimination Smart then I'll look at Prism

Im currently using the Arctis nova 7x and I've been loving it so far. Im wondering about one thing though, whenever I get into a call on discord, the volume for the call becomes so low that I basically can't hear anyone. The volume on the device, headset and the tuner are all still on high, so I'm not sure why its doing this
Anyone got a fix?

I would probably try removing and mouse drivers on your computer. If you search device management in windows you should be able to find in there mouse drivers which I would try removing

I don't really know why it would do this. I'd check connections, drives, software, mouse sensor is clean. Then I personally would use it as an excuse to reinstall windows mainly because it's good to do everything now and then

Reinstall discord? It's pretty quick to do. Try another voice chat program see if it happens there

Yeah true, if you only want one or two of the sonar things you can also just disable the others

If you have the volume for your normal audio output low and you're using one of Sonar's audio outputs, that would be why.

Question. I keep hearing about how the nova Pro wired sound better then the wireless but if you use the wireless with a wire does that fix it? And can you still use the DAC with a wire?

are you taking the call on the same device you're gaming on? or is it over bluetooth? since there's more ducking in the headset settings.

kinda? the nova pro wired has a proper hi-res DAC in the base station, so it'll give you pretty clean audio. the wireless one doesn't have a fancy DAC so the audio won't be as clean (plus general wireless interference)

yes you can wire it in, but you'd still need a proper DAC to make the most of it

Also how to adjust sonal volume? On windows its on 100 if you go back to ( headset artics nova ) in windows and slide that it affects the sonar. But how to make it on the sonar profile slider

I dont quite understand? I think when you use sonar or turn it on, it sets your default output in windows to sonar. That might be why it gets affected.
