Hi folks, I have the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset and despite my efforts to cancel out background noise via the GG Sonar app it still picks up my wife talking and her show playing on the other side of the room. I need some help! I used a Steelseries Aerox 3 for 1 month without any problems, but this morning GG told me that I had an update to do for my mouse.

I do the update by following the instructions, once the update is complete, I unplug and plug the dongle that the instructions tell me to do and GG tells me that my update is complete.

Then my mouse does not connect to its dongle and flashes red.
When I reconnect it to the cable, GG tells me that the update failed and we have to start over.
By restarting the update, the problem repeats itself!
I tried all the solutions that the Steelseries support offered me but without success.

it's a bit unique, so I think my email is failing your validation

hi idk if this is the right channel, i recently got the nova pro wireless and everyone tells me my mic is dogwater. using sonar improved the mic quality a lot, but i noticed that sonar eats up a lot of my cpu+ram whilst gaming in discord vc, causing the game to stutter/heavy latency input.
is there a way to limit sonar cpu/ram usage? if not, any other recommendations to improve the mic without sonar?

So, I have the Arena 9 speakers and the Pro Wireless headset. Anyone have any good ideas on how to use these together? Previously I had my old speakers plugged into the DAC for the Pro's and they would just shut off when I turned the headset on. Now since the Arena 9's are USB I have to go into Sonar and flip them everytime I want to put my headset on. Is there an easier way to do this that I'm overlooking or do I have to deal with this now that I switched to the Arena 9's instead of a dumb set of 2.1's I had from the L company.

This isn't a mechanical switch, just a rubber dome w/ slider. So unless the plunger is actually broken off the bottom of the key cap, you should be able to just push it on to pop it back into place.

But even that depends on how that stabalizer bar interfaces with the bottom of the keycap. You can probably just figure it out by seeing if it snaps in place or has to go through loops before pushing the cap all the way down.

Arctis 7 and 7X work in all PC test and MW2 test. When in the game mic does not work. I also get a red mic as soon as I start the game and the activision logo pops up. I put in a ticket just thought I would try here also to see if I could get a solution quicker. Using dolby atmos with the mics could this be the issue?

Honestly depends if you prefer wired or wireless. I would say pro wireless if it comes with the dac and not just Bluetooth

Correction, definitely wireless as it must come with dac as that’s how I charge batteries and no other way as far as I remember

Make sure you've updated your firmware in the engine btw

Yeah, it doesn’t work wired or wireless, Bluetooth did manage to work when i tried connecting with my macbook

Ok, step 1 is getting engine to recognize it's there to update the firmware, since your mac detects it, install the gg software on your mac, and update the firmware for the keyboard there.

If he can get it to recognize it using any method, then he should be able to connect it with a cable afterwards and have it recognized. His windows pc doesn't even show it's there, Mac is at least detecting it.

It will because you can adjust actuation and lighting via Bluetooth, I wouldn't be surprised if you could update it actually but depends on the board I guess.

Yeah you can get that if you want, but as long as it's a data usbc cable it will work, but hey if it's not badly priced where you at go for it. I would just Amazon next day a cable haha

If it's a data cable it will work no matter the brand. Just make sure it is when you go to the store. 25 is a lot for a cable imo of it's nature, no offense to SS they gotta do what they gotta do

Depending on the store, just bring your keyboard with you, ask them if they have a cable lying around similar to the one they sell, you'll be surprised how helpful people can be when you ask

they may even let you plug it in to check it works

Is it possible to configure the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless to use 24/96 instead of 24/48? I don't understand why the flagship headset appears to be hobbled down. The DAC connects via USB with native support for 24/96 and 2.4GHz wireless can pass it to the headphones. I don't recall any current DAC chip that is limited to 24/48.
