Do you have a gamedac?

If yes, you should have a kind of wheel you can either tap or rotate.

When tapping it, you basically switch from adjusting audio to adjusting which side outputs what. It should be right in the middle.

I have the same problem, I used all the settings and more for counter and tarkov, I can't distinguish from which direction the shots come from, with artic 5 this didn't happen to me.
I installed NAHIMIC, it solved part of the direction problem but it is very low but at least I can point to where the shots are coming from, I had to turn off the sonar.
The problem of sonar with the default counter profiles is that you don't hear the footsteps close but you hear the gunshots from far away that cover everything around you.

i seriously get the weirdest and most random issues with my headset

it will literally randomly decide the volume, sometimes 100% volume is extremely low, sometimes 1% is extremely loud, as in earrape so i cant even use it sometimes because of how loud it is. Sometimes it just doesn't work even though it registers sound there is none. Theres a whole lot more but its just so weird, why does it do this?

the is no surround option with the headset in engine, the only surround sound you have is through sonar

I have nova 7x. When im using Bluetooth mode on my mac. Sound is good , when I’m trying to open any app that uses my novas 7 microphone , sound is turning off for 1 sec and then like switches to another codec or something like that and sound becomes terrible like someone is streaming this sound from his microphone to my headphones. It same problem on the iphone and Mac (like example I’m listening youtube then when I’m open discord or any similar app it becomes terrible like I described). With dongle (2.4 ghz) everything is ok.

That's just what Bluetooth does when it's using a wireless mic. It's not a function of the headset itself. When it detects a program that uses the mic it lowers the quality of the incoming audio to feed more bitrate to the mic. That happens with every Bluetooth headset including my Nova Pro Wireless and Bose QC 35ii

It's not a problem with the headset. That's just the way the standard Bluetooth audio codec works. It'll always lower the quality when going into "Hands free mode" and uses the mic. Happens with every Bluetooth headset regardless of price or quality. That's why Bluetooth sucks as a wireless option

Is it on your nova pro wireless same? Or maybe it lowers quality a bit? On my novas sound becomes so awful (i can't even call this "lower the quality"). Without discord, sound quality for example 100 points , when it detects a program like discord its 2 of 100 points 😄

Yeah, like I said it's not a problem with your headset. That happens on every Bluetooth headset. Nova 7, Nova Pro Wireless, Bose QC 35, Sony WH1000s. They'll all behave the same when using Bluetooth on a computer

I have the Rival 3 (which is basically the Aerox without the holes) and it's pretty solid. I mainly use it with my laptop not so much for gaming but the switches feel good and it's nice and light if you're into that. I've also been daily driving the Rival 650 on my main PC for about a year now and I've had a great experience with it. The only real drawback is the weight. Other than that the clicks feel good and lift off detection is fantastic for gaming. And the RGB looks good if you care about that. I think the Aerox has a bigger battery, but I use my PC a lot and I only charge the mouse about every 3 days or so with all the RGB running. And you can of course turn off the lightning in Engine to prolong the battery life

Would anybody know why all sound from my PC is muted when I have bluetooth enabled on my laptop? I'm using Nova wireless pros. Connected to my PC for game sounds and anything else, then I use the bluetooth to take calls on my laptop for work. This worked just fine a few days ago. while the bluetooth was active it would lower all sounds by about 80% and work just fine. Now I hear nothing from my desktop while bluetooth being used.

I used to be able to connect bluetooth to my work laptop and take calls and hear game noise or streams in the background at a lower volume like 80% from the windows setting. Now there are no background sounds whatsoever. This worked 2 days ago no problem. I did a " critical firmware " update and now it's not working. I literally changed nothing and it's driving me nuts.

It also seems like now the headset is Forcing my PC volume to be 100% all the time and ALSO be muted in the levels tab in windows setting.

Hello, I have a problem I bought an Arctis 9 headset from SteelSeries I am playing games but I hear the sound is reversed. Why?

I listened to it in the store and it sounded lovely. Plus it has I think 36 hours of life and its Bluetooth so I can use it with my phone or switch.

This headset has two physical channels. So it acts like two devices. ...but I'm showing you because you may have defalut device and communication device set up in a way you don't intend it to be. It can be made the same device if needed.

And it has a retractable mic which is, to me, obvious but they are the only wireless headphones I've seen use it.

I don't know. Try going to settings and turn off Sonar then go back to main menu and turn it on.
