I need help to choose and buy my new gaming monitor.I tried to ask for help everywhere but they didnt give me specific answer only I would buy something something so im trying my luck here I know that this is not a place to ask for this kind of help(I think).So I have to choose from 2 monitors one is GYGABYTE GAMING MONITOR G27F 2 EU and other one is samsung LC27G55TQBUXEN.I cant choose one of them because one is 2k but has VA panel and other one is full hd with IPS panel.I heard that IPS is superior to VA but then I heard that 2k is better that full hd.So please guys help me choose a monitor it would be good if I get a answer as quick as possable because I want to place monitor order today and get it as quick as possable.

Edit:Well I just watched some videos comparing VA and IPS.And IPS looked better so If you have any other gaming monitor to recomed it would be big + if it had IPS panel.Thanks.But I will still wait a bit maybe I will see some counter arguments why VA is better that IPS and I will wait till maybe someone will recomed one of these 2 monitors are better or maybe someone will recomed there own.

If you ask me i would go for the Asus one, as Samsung doesnt make any good "gaming" monitors if you ask me. + they never manage to get a correct color balance on the screen

Think I figured it out. If you have enabled sonar on computer and then switch to ps5, it seems to put itself into a weird default equalizer. If you go into the comp app, disabled the sonar then go back to the ps5 audio, you can play with the eq and it works

i was using my brand new out of the box acrtis nova 7p headset and it was all good then i went and did the software update and not the headset doesnt charge, turn on, or have any lights on. i have looked everywhere for a fix for this specific headset but cant find any. i tried resetting using either pin hole under ear muffs but still wont work. UPDATE:reset finally work set after many attempts. now when updated, it still says critical update needed, i’ve tried multiple times, deleted the application multiple times and still says it after successfully completing update

I come from having the artic 5 and now pass to the artic nova pro, they sound good but with the spatial or soundrround sound I can not differentiate where the shots come from and it sounds like all together, I use the SONAR setting but even if I change I do not notice such a difference or feel that I am fulfilling the function of which direction comes the shots or steps, etc..
with artic 5 sometimes I couldn't tell if the sound was coming from my house or from the game at a distance, I liked that as immersion and I could tell if it was coming from behind or from the sides.
for example in cs go, i hear the gunshots from far away but i want to hear if there are enemies around me and it covers them up for me.
Also in tarkov the sound is fundamental or even in stalker all the games and mods that modify the sound.

Old post, but, you likely have it set to chat for the game. Meaning, your Arctis has both chat and game modes. In chat mode, it's mono. So ensure your OS is set to Arctis Game, and your Discord to Arctis Chat.

I found an issue with SteelSeries GG yesterday and found a quick fix. On my laptop MSI Raider GE77HX UHS I have Nahimic software by default. After upgrading Nahimic to the latest version my Sonar stop working properly (unable to start GG services error), I tried to re-install GG, this doesn't help. After deep investigation around Nahimic updated drivers I found that in Device manager Nahimic device was on outdated driver version, I switched to the new one, restarted PC and issues are gone. Maybe this would be helpful to someone.

I've updated windows, reset my PC, unplugged the keyboard like 100 times. I have gotten it to start working 2 times but it last about an hour then it wont work again for like 4 hours

I chose the Arctis 7 because the sound was good and more importantly it was not too annoying having it my head (most headsets are). I was hoping for a better experience with the Arctis 9 but what is all that crap added? Windows (not my choice) shows 4 sets of input/output configurations. I only need it for meetings, I do not play games. I just muted Windows and the sound kept coming from the speakers because I muted the Arctis profile while that was not even connected. I know that that is a Windows thing but it seems to me that Arctis does not really connect well with Windows.
