it's an equaliser and mixer combined, and you can do it to make your music sound better, and as HIPO says, footsteps, whatever you feel like

you can have your music on the media device, and have an eq you want for that on there

Im doubting there really is a fix. Anyways. This headset is only 2 weeks old and will turn off randomly VERY often and then stay off for upwards to 2 hours before turning on. Well it is getting power, works while wired and has been tested on multiple devices. The only time the audio wont work is when the wires aren't in it. Which makes me suspect its an error in one end or both ends of whatever makes the wireless bit work. Any suggestions? (Besides contacting support which im in the middle of but its taking a bit or returning which will be done soon likely)

uninstall gg yes uninstall to do this goto search type control panel enter control panel top right if it says catagory drop it down and select large icons this will show the proper control panel apps then scrollto find and click "programs and features" then in the window scroll until you find steelseries and highlight and click uninstall then click back until your in control panel again and click "explorer file and folder options" then select "show hidden files, folders and drives" click apply and ok close goto c drive and delete steelseries from "programfiles" and " programfiles (x86) " and "programdat" unplug your device reboot and before you plug back into a different port install gg login to your account plug your device back in and activate sonar ....... it should then work properly

Go into your control panel via the search bar in windows (not settings) the app should look like the old school windows control panel. Select sound and then select your device. Go to the recording tab and right click on the top microphone and select enable. Right click on all the remaining microphones and disable them. That solved my issue with the mic. If the microphones are all enabled they will conflict and windows won’t know which one to prioritize

I have gone through multiple Sensei Tens, they're my favorite mice currently. I want to move to trying out a wireless mouse on my new desk soon though. I recently got a Aerox 5 to try and the side buttons are just... not good. Like, almost sharp? and much harder to press. It's almost impossible to press up on the side rocker without lifting the mouse too. I do like the lighter weight and the cage for air below my palm though. I guess maybe I should try out the Aerox 3 or Prime? Are these side buttons a lot more similar to the Sensei?

you'd be surprised how well SteelSeries does against competitors in terms of side buttons. I don't use the rockers up action tho, because yes, it's a bit too hard, but other than that the rest of the side buttons are pretty solid

the sound is screwed, sometimes when i log on i have to turn every single sound up to 100% even just to hear anything, sometimes when i turn it on i will keep literally EVERYTHING on the lowest possible sound it can have and it will still be earrape. Sometimes the sound just doesnt work in games, and sometimes chat is super loud despite being super low volume on steelseries gg but the opposite for gaming for example.

Its getting really annoying, especially when i cant hear anything even if i put everything on max volume

and sometimes i will hear everything way too loud on the lowest possible volume setting.

Really sucks because i love this headset and its great but these issues happen ever day, as in when i log on to play, one of these things apply. Its either super loud or super low until i log off and play again tomorrow for example and its the same or reversed

Fiddle with the drop downs, make sure your sound settings are set to the sonar options. It took me maybe 30-60min to get everything figured out and situated. I bought the arctis nova 7 wireless today, and I've hit a wall trying to get sound out of this thing

dongle appears to be connected fine and paired, firmware updated, drivers look okay, volume is all up. Windows recognizes it, and the Sound tab shows green audio levels bouncing.. but no sound whatsoever out of headset

what am I doing wrong?

I’ve downloaded the software for it on my Windows and when I do a mic test on the software I can hear myself, however I still can hear audio on PC. But i can't hear Games audio.
