What device are you using it with. Because it connects through an analog connector, it depends on your computer’s audio drivers. Id plug it into a phone and do the same tests to determine whether it’s a headset issue or a device issue.

If it’s actually the Arctis 1’s, it should have a detachable microphone as shown in the image I’m sending. Make sure this microphone is fully attached. Also make sure it’s unmuted as this sounds like the behavior it’d show if muted as the mute switch isn’t perfect and let’s tiny amount of loud sound in.

May be a bit odd, but I'm using the "Steel Series GG" application and I'd like to only utilize the mic portion. Interesting tool and all that, but I am not a fan of how my game audio has changed. My mic is extremely quiet and I needed something more than base Win settings/options to give it a lil boost.

on arctis nova, x has a dedicated output at the back, so it works with xbox. It also works with PC but not playstation. If you have no plans for Xbox then skip that, as the quality is lower if that port is used on PC

This ain't my wheel house, so apologies if my explanation is sub-par. This is the only EQ I have used that does this. To clarify further, I do not care if the program actively controls my audio. I was not very clear when stating "influence" here. I need whatever odd base profile to be neutral. When using sonar and without messing with any EQ sliders besides the mic, my game audio is notably different. I would not mind it much if someone running in a building 20yds away did not sould louder than anything and everything around me.

And yes, those various app and game sliders are maxed. I'm trying sonar as other solutions were ineffective, or paid options.

if i want to do that i cant use different outputs for my discord and game(if their outputs dont be the same discord voices doesnt get recorded)
and if i use the same output for discord then basically the sonar-game eq settings would get applied to discord audio too which makes hearing game audio really bad and also makes me unable to use chatmix feature

but in terms of efficiency it's not that much of a difference, apex pro is like 2ms latency wired and 3ms wireless. The analogue part is nice for some games, and a friend is using it to cheese COD, because if you move below a certain treshold you don't give out footsteps supposedly

adapter will not reduce audio quality in any way that is meaningful to you, if anything, wireless connection might. Personally I despise wires unless listening to studio grade source files for enjoyment, with studio grade headphones, all other stuff is wireless for me

Yes I do have a question, Is there any way through the (keyboard) or through the (steel series engine application) to light up or indicate that a macro has been enabled,

I have been trying to find someone like this through the engine but I've had no luck, It can sometimes get really annoying if I don't notice that a macro has been enabled either by me accidentally pressing a key or something dropping on the keyboard without me knowing.

The current keyboard I have is the steel series Apex 7 Red switches TKL

1. can the apex pro get rapid trigger (dynamic actuation point) with a firmware update just like the wooting keyboards or is there something limiting it on the hardware side?

Batteries are a rabbit hole on their own , I work with every type , mostly lipo to be honest , each type has it's pros and cons

and yeah you can type in google li-ion battery life cycle and read some research on it the best practice for the longest lifespan of a li-ion battery is to never discharge it below 30% and never charge over 70% although ive been going with 30-85% on my phone and 4 years later i still get 1 day on full charge with battery health at 83% (from 3900 - 3301mah)

It could be using a completely different wireless protocol which could be more accurate and fasthen your previous headsethat but with the downside of it's more vulnerable to interference

It helps a lot to make sure that the transmitter isn't near any grounded or metal objects, But should still normally operate when around those objects

I think you asked Apex 7 and Apex Pro since there isn't an Apex 7 Pro, their differences are:

Apex Pro has twice more key duration (100 million keystrokes, while Apex 7 has 50 million).
Apex Pro is 0,3mm shorter by length.
Apex Pro features a volume wheel while Apex 7 doesn't, and Apex 7 has adjustable height and internal USB port while Apex Pro doesn't
Most importantly, Apex 7 has different mechanical key types to choose from (Apex 7 Red, Apex 7 Brown etc.) while Apex Pro features OmniPoint mechanical keys designed by Steelseries to give you faster reaction time with better durability.
