When I could of bought a $120 Corsair scimitar that would of given me a easy 2 years or a Naga pro , you kind of expect to not have to deal with small issues let alone big issues like bricking when your purchasing something so top end and expensive

there is definitely some degree of confirmation bias going on when you're looking at it that way, but that's (issues appearing) not the thing that's frustrating to me here; my warranty replacement should be covered as if the day i received my replacement was considered the day of purchase and went the normal length starting that day

i.e., a year from today if it's a year warranty, or two years from today if the normal warranty is two years ect

corsair uses, at least on some of their mice, the same switches logitech used that are prone to the double click problem that is widely prevalent on logitech mice

although i have read that logtiech's issue was giving the switches too much juice and the switches oxidizing and failing

which is more a design issue with the mouse than an issue exclusive to the switches they were/are using

i'd imagine the so-called logitech optical switches aren't prone to the other double click issues, so those are probably fine

i'd think software is the easy part of making a mouse, but i am an engineer, not a software dev

Yeah nah for sure man but 30 days for a RMA mouse when in my case it only lasted 26 days is absolutely disgraceful , I'm just going threw the company I purchased it from and organising a refund and we now stay away from steel series as a whole

My new headphones (Arctis Nova Pro Wireless) come with a powerful piece of software called GG Sonar, which splits the headphones into several virtual audio devices (game, chat, music, etc). However, selecting any of these as the default audio output device delivers zero audio. The headphones only output sound if I select them as basic headphones, and not using any of the virtual audio devices that Sonar delivers (chat, game, etc) .

This means I can't use any of the surround effects, nor live volume mixing between Chat/Game, which are key features of these $400 headphones. If I select any of the virtual devices, there is no audio from the headphones.

I've tried setting the virtual Game audio device as the default, and ran the Win11 audio troubleshooter, and it's still not working. Any ideas on how to get the Sonar virtual devices to work with Win11, as it's a key feature of the headphones? I've attached a screenshot showing the list of audio devices on my PC (I have quite a few audio devices - my OLED TV outputs to an AVR for 5.1 audio). Note that I only get audio through the headphones if it's set up as seen in the screenshot.

because i bought the artics 7+, in the left headset there is a noise of a springy. i guess is from the microphone because I dont understand other reason, It happened in the first pairs and i got a replace, and it happens THE SAME, so they are an expensives headset that shouldnt have it happened and I have no choice to have my money back in stead of breaking them and having a replace. I have meetings and classes online and I cant be like this until they send me a properly ones. Hi everyone, just got my Arctis 5, I have significant hearing loss in my left ear due to cholesteatoma / operations, to the point if I put my hands over both ears and just over my left ear it sounds the same. I've always struggled with surround sounds and games where you hyper focus on directional sound like siege I could never be good at bc I couldn't tell where the footsteps were coming from lol. Does anyone have any suggestions for setting or things I could do to enjoy my headset more and even to be able to discern directional sound, or just the best general settings you recommend for someone with a gammy left ear. Is there any software like Sonar that actually works properly? I'm having basic issues (all settings being reset on reboot/restart) that have been around for a long time. It doesn't seem like Steelseries is interested in making Sonar usable, but I like the idea of virtual devices.
