Guys i would like to have some help regarding my nova pro wireless and turning on/off sound there is different beeps what do they mean how to tell if im doing something right or wrong - when i want to turn off i just click it for 1 second and then still stays on i have to do it twice and sometimes it even gives 2 different beeps and still on

I can only adjust a certain volume factor either game or chat as I set to primary on windows the rest stays at same level and should be adjusted within the sonar app kinda stupid that windows is not the overruler for chat media and game instead. I agree that it is dumb that only one is adjustable through windows

The volume toggle of windows to adjust the volume, if u don’t enable sonar, you can’t adjust the volume of windows because it will always be locked to 100

So, if you have a speaker connected to the dac, you can’t adjust the speaker volume when you switch off the headset

With the nova there isn’t any screen saver, to prevent burn in you can only lower the brightness. There is also an option that lower the brightness when the display doesn’t “move”

With the arctis pro wireless you could enable the screen saver

sonar is a great idea but its unusable on my pc. when i get below a certain volume things just start clipping and cutting constantly, and in game when its processing too many things at once the audio just starts cutting out (im assuming because its trying to run a ton of processing on my mediocre cpu). anyone else notice this behaviour of clipping out low volume stuff? it's a shame because the actual headset sounds great when the drivers arent getting in the way

Sonar is currently designed to be the main audio system when used. It takes over Windows defaults to minimize user error. If you don't want to use Sonar for everything then Sonar isn't for you basically. Your best bet is to make a #1070392859125104660 :)

The system is a little weird where whenever you send a new message it resets your position in the "line" so you get sent back every time you send a new message. But DM me your ticket number and I'll ask about it

Hey everyone! Just bought the Nova Arctis 7x for my Xbox series X and I absolutely love it so far. However I noticed the battery gets to yellow pretty quick sometimes or even gets down to like 75% after an hour and a half. During this time I’m using both the game/chat audio AND Bluetooth. I charge it either using the Xbox or using an outlet. Is this normal?! Is it just one of those things where there’s more battery life between 0-75% type thing? As in it gets to 75% quick but wayyyy longer to go to yellow-red?

Hello, i wanted to ask if some1 is experiencing problems with their arctis 9, this morning mine did not want to turn on, only thing i got was one red led flash, if i connect them trough cable, i get green led but they wont connect to transmitter, ive tried most of things on steelseries website, scoured reddit, but i did not managed to fix this issue, here is a quick list of what ive tried:

-change USB ports on headset and transmitter
-pair them troug the steelseries software, which resulted in device failed to pair
-reset button with the pin under the cushion
-holding connect button on transmitter for a while untill it started fast flashing with white, and held power button on headset while it was connected trough cable to make it flash, it would not connect, even tho i can head mic on / mic off sound coming out of the headset
-currently im running them in bluethoot mode, but i kinda wanna go back to wireless
-reinstall steelseries software, use older version of the software
-windows updates
-bios update
-USB and audio drivers update

none of the above worked, if any1 has similair issue or know something that i dont, please let me know, as i really dont wanna lose a 200€ headset

I've been playing around with the Arctic 7x's for about a week now. I had an EQ i liked for generally everything. Music, rpgs, things like that. I didn't buy them for the Call of Dutys and what not, though I do play them some.

So my question is, is there anyone around that has their EQ set up for just great sounding music. I had the EQ even with sonar on, set to an amazing spot, but honestly I just can't seem to get it crispy like that again haha.

I accidently looked up Arctis 7 instead of Arctis Nova 7, turns out the Nova has the pinhole reset on the right not the left like the Arctis 7 does, if you have the same issue you should have the same fix, google what side the hard reset pinhole button is and reset it that way

Does anyone know why when i enable sonar on my headset it always messes with my audio somehow? When i turn it on half the time i cant hear ANYTHING and other times i can hear game sound but not discord for example. When sonar is off everything works just fine. Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue and im missing a simple setting or if there is something else going on. Also all drivers for windows 11 and the steelseries software are up to date

Firstly on your base station press and hold the button and go to audio options
Then gain and set it to high
i think that should help

Hey, does it work for you? I cant speak on Discord, becasue SteelSeriesGG won't work with my HyperX headphones.
When i switch off SSGG, mic works. Just, the microphone does not work through the application.

why is my audio cutting out every 5 seconds? im like 90% it has something to do with this sonar garbage, but my audio cuts out for a half a second every 5 seconds and it makes it really annoying when listening to mudic and trying to be productive. my sidetone is gone too, theres nothing useful on the steel series site to help, has someone had a similar issue?

If u have reset your device(?), idk, what's ur model? U say nothing about ur headset but just complaining. XD ur headset is wireless / wired? Bluetooth? if reset dont work maybe last update ? If u didnt do anything and it's persists enforce the warranty. If it's not possible. Buy a new. 🙂
