It's very normal (and literally impossible to avoid) having some units be faulty. Some times it's dead on arrival, other times it takes a while. That's just how cheap mass produced electronics are. You can even be so unlucky that you try multiple units that are DOA when there's a batch issue

All of my modifier keys (ctrl, alt, and windows keys) are not working. The RGB reacts to the key press but other than that, there is no sign that the keypress has been recognized. This is a brand-new Apex Pro TKL. Everything else works. I've updated to the newest drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled both the drivers and the SteelSeries engine. I've tried everything that I can find online. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?

I personally wouldn't classify what tends to be more expensive gaming equipment as "cheap mass produced electronics" like something from walmart. The $150 price tag on the mouse I bought just a few months ago is a pretty far cry from a $20 walmart device.

Like there's def stuff from SteelSeries that cost a significant amount of money but none of it is very expensive compared to stuff that isn't mass produced

I will without a doubt agree with you on the audio side of things. My headphones are in the same range as well with no additional features.
There are not many mice that fall into that type of category as well though. The $100+ range for a mouse is already a higher end device.

Try closing out of steelseries gg completely and making sure it’s closed in your hidden programs thing in the bottom right. And run the installer I sent that’s directly through steelseries. See if that works

I've owned my steel series wireless pro headset now for 18 months. I paid £250. I have friends who have the same headset they bought for £30 five years ago laughing at me almost on a daily basis. Almost every day when I play games, join discord, or watch movies, I have to play the "What settings are completely messed up today challenge!!".

I had my headphones on and I confirmed they were on, I checked windows was set to sonar as main output and input, steelseries gg was running and the db meter was showing the music i was playing (i set my volume all the way up because i thought maybe it was a volume issue). nothing seeming wrong, so i thought I'd restart GG. I exited and the app booted up after a minute. Still nothing, Sonar was working and the DB meter was showing the audio, when all of a sudden my headphones reconnected and the sound blasted my ears

Corsair > steelseries, both companys old mice are amazing. I've had a harpoon wired for 6 years and a rival 3 wired since it's release. Both are amazing mice but the rival 3 died as of late. Software went to garbage on steelseries so no point on getting anything that indefinitely needs their software. So you may want to go with corsair. Tho I like steelseries just cause their mouse shapes fit with my hand nicely.

Their mice do disconnect a lot or even dont connect sometimes, the aerox 3 i just returned had connection issues

This bothers me more than it logically should but the fact that every single company (including SteelSeries) who makes keyboards, desktop or laptops, they all have one thing in common: they don't care about the layout for the nordic countries and combines them into 1 layout.

While I will admit that it only impacts 2 keys that have multiple letters on each, I also feel like they could easily include 2 extra keycaps to make it properly. It doesn't even require more SKUs.

There's literally only one company I've found so far that cares and makes keyboard layouts specifically for each country and that's Apple.

Question is: if I get an Arctis Nova 7 wireless and I buy an extra Arctis Nova 7 USB-C transmitter, can I plug one on my PC, other on my PS5 and use it between systems?

Hii! I've some questions about my steelseries product (Artis Wireless Pro) and I dont know if this is the right place to ask them but here I go.
1 - What is the best config to have? Windows is default to Steelseries Sonar Gaming and the Sonar is set to game-game chat-chat media-game
2 - This is a weird discord behavior but, when we are listening to a song or stream from discord if no one talks the volume of the bot-song or stream that I am watching fades away until someone talks.
3 - I have some issues regarding volume, sometimes I have to put apps at 5% volume cuz it is too loud and discord at 100% (volume on discord is at max on the app too) and my friends cant hear my game properly, and I hear it too loud.

The headset can only be paired with one transmitter at a time as far as I'm aware. I'd suggest making it as easy as possible to move the transmitter from place to place. One way of doing that would be using an USB-A to C extender cable at your PC and the front USB-C on your PS5. I hope that makes sense :)

Hey guys, just a quick question, how do I make a bind to my steelseries keybaord so when i press F8 it will change the colours on my keyboard?

I don't think there's a direct way to do it but you might be able to use the change profile function? If you have say 5 profiles with the different lighting modes you want and F8 is binded to change profile on all of them you could do it that way
