Hi, I am trying to get some audio routed and after google failed I thought I would try here.
I would like to run my Arctics Pro wireless line out to another computer (into an audio interface) so I have the option of using the speakers and audio interface on that system.
Running a PC and a Mac - the Acrtics (and base a/d/a converter) are running on my PC - all that works great. I wanted to use the line out on the back of the base to run into an audio interface on my mac to use the speakers I have routed through there.. anyway to do that?

This happens EVERY single time I reboot / sign in to Windows. The playback devices have to be set manually again. So basically, I have no sound when I first start my computer. GG is set to launch on system startup. It's in the systray. So I have to open it from there. However...
When I do set the playback devices back to my headset, BAM, I'm still seeing red
So then I found no other way to fix this except right click the gg systray icon, select Exit to completely exit the GG process. THEN I get sound. Ofcourse though, that sound isn't routing through sonar. It just defaults back to the non-virtualized audio device, whereas at startup the default audio device was the virtual ones made by Sonar.
Naturally, I want Sonar working, so obviously my next step is to relaunch the GG app. I'm greeted by this rubbish instead of it automatically configuring itself how it should have been before I rebooted.
Ignoring the yellow messages, lets just for interests sake set the devices again manually. Still red.
Click the yellow messages, yay it finally works again as it should.
And so now, once again, I literally just signed out and signed back in again. Hey presto. I can reproduce this behavior every time. Does anyone else have this issue? Where the devs at? Wth do I do.

This is a very strange occurrence, oddly common, yet also the majority of people use it without issue
Sidenote: this is a server for the community, to get support from SS themselves, you would need to open a support ticket on the steelseries support website

The only solution is to completely Exit GG, then restart the GG application. Then go back and set your devices again in Sonar.

I've tried that several times. It doesn't solve the issue I described above. I think it may have started happening since a recent update of GG. I'd be interested to know whether it happens in previous versions.

Support should be able to help you. When I had an issue with Steelseries GG they helped me update the firmware of a device to get it to work and even gave me a 15% discount code haha

could be a faulty wireless dongle. But that shouldn't be anything to do with Sonar
I would just try uninstalling Steelseries GG. See if the problem go's away. If it doesn't then it's something to do with the unit, if it does go away, then it might be a firmware issue that is causing it not to work with Steelseries GG

Like I said, try the unit without Steelseries GG. That's honestly all I can recomend to diagnose if the problem is unit based or software/firmware based. I'm obviously not a member of the support staff so there is not much more I can do to help than that.
