hello everyone. I have my Arctis Nova Pro Wired...when I have been gaming I always select " Headphones Arctis Nova Pro " Not any of the other outputs it installed like gaming,, chat, media....this is correct right? Also I have made some profiles under the Sonar App when clicking on the left hand side " Engine "..I mad some configurations there that I can just pick the drop down....I also notice that on the left is the Sonar section and also an editor for Game, Chat, Media, Microphone. Also with preconfigured dropdowns for alot of game titles. Should I be making changes in there and making configurations or am I ok doing it under the Engine section?

In these parts you select your nova pro, and while you can do your changes in engine, it is recommended to use the sonar section for EQ stuff, as it can go into more depth for several of the channels, (keep in mind only use either engine or sonar for the eq-ing bit to avoid warping)

I need someone to help me with my mic on steel series arctis 5 wired. My mic on discord occassionally bugs out, typically when I first join a call or when i stay in a call for long periods of time. By "bugging out" I mean the mic emits a high pitch sound that kills everyones ears. I just fix this by clicking the "Lets Check" button on discord voice settings to reset it back to normal. But it gets very annoying and tedious to do this especially when I'm in the middle of a game. How do I fix this? I use the "Microphone: Arctis 5 Chat" as my microphone in discords' settings.

Same as what Brassmonkey said , the xbox ones you can still use on ps5 but the ps5 ones wont work on Xbox so the Xbox one is more friendly in that regard. You only get two usbc connections though so when you want to use on ps5 you just have to play around with the pc plug which isnt a big deal .

Hey guys is it possible to not just type in enter but have the enter action when doing written scripts on a keyboard. hello just bought nova 7 wireless. Great Headset. Only problem is there is white noice in the background all the time. You cant hear it when there is a sound. But its always there. Its dissappear when i disable the mic. How can i fix thix ? its like something hissing my ears kinda annoying

What's cool on Arctis headsets is that with Steelseries GG software you can create audio profiles on computer !
I got one for R6 for exemple (you can do that for every game you tryhard) and one for music.
Their is a second way to create audio profil with the software : Sonar. It's an extension in Steelseries GG, that permit you to find preset for most of the competitive games ! With the best audio settings for this games 😙

One thing : when you will disconnect your Arctis 1 to the computer, the classic audio profil (the one not done with Sonar) will stay on your headset, so think to switch on your "music" profil before left home 😉

That's just a plague of having a non nova headset. All of steelseries' old headsets are plagued with a hinge issue that causes them to break no matter the price. on the contrary, all of their now nova branded headphones are fixed of this issue but the regular arctis series still has these hinge issues.

I knowwww it stinks because I got the arctis pro + game dac a decent bit ago and they also snapped at the hinge. I ended up getting the nova pro + GameDAC (gen 2) and I've had 0 issues with them and they sound amazing, it just stinks they didn't fix the old gen.

I was using my arctis pro + GameDAC for 2 years before it snapped. I've had my nova pro + GameDAC (gen2) for almost a year now, maybe a little over a year. I don't remember the exact date I got it on. I've had no issues with it at all, so far.

Well some users' headphones snapped a lot sooner than 2 years. It doesn't always last that long. Some users' headphones don't ever snap. it depends on how often you use them, and how gentle you are with them.

Depends on what exact headphones you have, but generally from my knowledge of wireless steelseries headsets, green most likely always means it's done charging.

Yes it should be completely fixed now. They added more material around the hinge to prevent the plastic from snapping. I believe if I remember correctly it's either thicker plastic, or actual metal.

If the led is green that means it is between 50 and 100% full. I presume the led will turn off completely when it is done charging but I am not entirely sure.

Hello All because of my hearing issues I bought the Nova Pro Wireless headset because of the high SideTone Volume. Shortly after I bought them they came out with an update to lower the SideTone Volume and they don't work for me. Hello, I am having an issue with my SS GG app on Mac. My hub says that there is a firmware update available, but when I plug in my headset via USB-C, it doesn't say connected. I've had my pair of steelseries arctis 9x for over a year now and only had to reset twice and only thing that has even gone wrong with it is, one cup is a little loose, other than that. Most solid headset I've had

This might be because your "Microphone Monitoring" Setting is on for windows, check that in your audio settings under the start menu

If that is off, then you might want to check the Headsets "Sidetone" setting in the Steel Series GG Software platform. You can download it from the website

You can do this by connecting your headset to your PC via the cable found in the box (USB-USBC) and then updating the software on the Acrtis Nova 7 in the "Engine" portion of the software, from there click on the tab that has the name of the headset and the Mic Sidetone can be set to Off, Low, Medium, Or high

Make sure that your headphones are connected to your PC

Yes, there is a Manual Mute button right next to where the microphone can be extended out from the headset
The button itself needs to be pushed in with a nice clicking sound to activate the microphone, it also has a visible redish orange border when it is muted. Also the Microphone itself will emit a red light when it is muted that you will be able to see in your peripheral vision when playing. The brightness of the light on the head of the microphone can be adjusted in the Steel Series GG software settings.

There are quite affordable ones on amazon, ranging for around 150ish USD.
Do make sure if you do buy one that you are in an Arid environment while using it, as certain plastics can be affected by humidity........ or so I've heard from someone who owns a 3D printer. Also don't use Acetone as a paint remover for PLA...

I have found major design flaw in the Rival 3 wireless mice.

Usage: I use the mice alot everyday and struggle with the battery. I have to insert new ones every fourth day and it is tiresome. I have four rechargeable AAA batteries that I cycle. All the lights and pullrate have been turned off or down to save the battery. 😭 I do not turn off the mice when going to sleep or away from pc. That is hard to get into off position and not worth my time.

Problem: Battery
Part solution: Look in picture. You will see a sliding button that has its off status in the middle. This button is hard to place in the middle and takes time to focus. If the off position was on the end then the buttom would be easy to use and no focus. This would be a douable daily action.

Other thoughts: turning the mice on and off with certain key combinations.

My first piece of Steelseries gear to purchase was the $350 Nova Pro Wireless. After using the Sonar software on my logitech headset I was convinced that I should get a steelseries headset.... I was wrong. Sonar automatically upscales the audio format to 96000 Hz which litterally breaks the sound for most of the games I play. can anyone help me with some audio problems im having? it has to be my steelseries headset, i have arctics 9x and have had constant crackling or some other issue regarding this headset on my pc. The issue first started when i began using it on my windows 11 pc, it had worked flawlessly on my xbox previously but that is sold now. Anyways, it will not stop having different audio problems. Every time i use them on my pc the audio cuts out completly or is so staticky i cant hear anything.. I have since reinstalled ALL my drivers redownloaded sonar and its a different problem. the audio is flawless but now connecting to any application that uses my headsets mic input, it stops ALL audio output on any driver. Its not my computer hardware because different issues have arose from the same headset. Can anyone help me with this. This was a 200$ headset and im severly disappointed the quality is great but something about windows 11 and the new drivers are messed up maybe im not sure but i rlly need some input ive been trying to fix it for a week now.

and I know its the headset because disconnecting it allows other audio outputs to work again. ^

Yea, I figured Steelseries would have a better support presence online since they have no call option. Extremely disappointing. I think I will just return the headset. Which seems to be a quality control issue on their hardware. Not a good look for a $180 Headset.

my first 2 steelseries headsets worked fine UNTIL a couple months after warranty, this one broke first 2 days, told them how, got told to "try this", then it died.
