Hey, sorry for bad english. So my current headphone ( hyperx cloud 2) start having some issue, so decide to get a new headphones. I have my eyes for a while in Steel series, but i dont know a lot about how headphones work, or what parameter is the Best for what im looking for. I want to start streaming some lol, but mostly fps, cod, warzone 2 and also i love listening music, so the most important part is the fps game. Really important the foosteps, where are they shooting from and etc. So what im looking for:

• i really want to be wireless ( Bluetooth) but also i can plug in a jack cable if its needed.

-I dont need mikrofon on it because i have my own in my desk.

and from what I figure, is that DTS went to DTS Sound Unbound, but the headset (i.e., sonar) doesn't pick it up.
therefore I can only assume this is an issue with GG itself, because I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and GG several times. There's just no other explanation, it worked fine before the latest engine update.

Yea. I have the HyperX Cloud II wireless which lasts much longer on battery. I really like the Series 9 Arctus though for it's bluetooth feature where you can get phone calls while playing.

Wife calls and I miss the call... hmmm... maybe that is a better feature without it ;).

Retractable mic is awesome too on the Arctus 9. My kids lost the mic on one of our HyperX headsets and had to order another. Nice thing about detachable though is easier to replace mic in case it gets damaged. Good and bad for both designs.

I might just mod the headphones and put a 2000 mah battery in it... even if I have to make it ugly and cut the side of the headphones and it sticks out :). I could care less what it looks like. I am the only one that sees it.

Just put some weight on the other side to balance it if needed.

I like the SS 9 Arctus so far over the HyperX Cloud II wireless except the battery life. Arctus has retractable mic, bluetooth, bluetooth and PC can play at same time, more comfortable to wear (HyperX cloud II wirelless is also comfortable but this is a little more comfortable). The band I think helps with the comfort. This is the first headset that I ahve owned that had a soft strap that touches your head. I like it.

And separate chat/game volume mixing is a BIG feature that HyperX lacks.

Being able to adjust voice chat and game separately is almost required for some games. SS 9 Arctus has a big advantage with that.

yea weird work around i have is that i still own an older stealth 700. it uses that SPDIFport that some devices have. that can still basically use chat/game by having two audio sources basically streaming through the same usb just one input was digital out

i actually use that for retro gaming just wire the usb to the tvs usb port and wire spdif to the tv

.... i found a work around for my current issue but this feels wrong and not how it should even be working. i can turn on Sonar and tie the headset to the game column and then i can select that as my main sound on windows and that will let me lower the audio like u normally would between 100-0

but that... stupid why cant i just use th eheadset normally and lower the audio like any other headset

You can't claim the promotion on mobile. You need a PC to download SteelSeries GG in order to claim it
