only way ive gotten around it is to used it with a wired connection and forget its wireless. i have recalibrated multiple times and repaired and the 2.4ghz wifi connection seems to be the problem every time. i will hear the sound que and then my w is stuck until it reconnects

I found my leds will stay on till I open the GG Software the moment the software is opened the LEDs go out till I unplug my KB and plug it back in. If you want to try and see it is the same for you.

Wooting seems to have created a better SOCD feature than Razer (shocker) and since your hall effect keyboards are carbon copies of the wooting (minus the bloatfree user interface and analog input) just copy wooting. I'm using SteelSeries GG to change my audio output settings. The tabs for Chat, Media, Aux, and Microphone work perfectly. However, when I switch to the Gaming tab, I see the volume levels moving, but I don't get any sound, even though the output device is the same as in the other tabs. What can I do to fix this issue?

Details:
All other tabs (Chat, Media, Aux, Microphone) are functioning correctly.
The volume levels in the Gaming tab indicate that audio is being played.
The output device selected in the Gaming tab is the same as in the other working tabs.
No sound is heard when using the Gaming tab.
I've already tried checking the settings and making sure the correct output device is selected. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Windows is pushing an update called "SteelSeries ApS Extension 1.0.12.0", I don't know what this is so I googled it, turns out some old posts say this update is GG engine related and it fucks with windows 11, crash softwares and generate hundreds of critical errors in the event log. Have they fixed it? what is this update and why does windows force it on me with no option to cancel it? I'm going to sleep and have to turn off the pc but it forces me to update

Hello! Quick question, if I remove the steelseries GG with the ''remove programs and files'' will it really delete EVERYTHING? I just tried doing but I don't know if it worked, if I had to completely wipe every trace of steelseries, how would be the best way? I need a fresh install. || Context: I have the encoding error when exporting videos on this pc, but transferring the video files to my other pc with steelseries installed and exporting them from that pc works fine. Open steel series if you can and use task manager to get the location of the files. Close steelseries after you get it and delete the steel series folder.

i have seen a couple of programs around online, two that are pretty much the same one in Java one in C# and another one that looked really promising in C# but was just completely broken

spent a couple of hours researching what was wrong with the code (some stuff was hardcoded for their machine I think) and trying to update the libraries and rebuild the solution but just didn't work

This time it had me log in again, so it definitely wiped it this time, but my problem still remains with the encoding error, I suspect it might have something to do with my recent downgrade in GPU (my current GPU doesn't even have drivers, I don't think they even exist anymore) so it might just be down to hardware problems. I can't get the beta firmware update to show up.

• I'm running GG 68.0.0.
• I've got an Apex Pro (probably 2019 model).
• I'm getting the "Beta Firmware Available" banner in Engine.
• I click that, toggle Beta to on, the fully disconnect my keyboard. (it goes to "Not connected" in Engine)
• I re-connect the keyboard, and the banner lights up again just as before (with the "Beta Firmware Available" banner), with no option to update the keyboard's firmware.
• When I restart GG, the Beta toggle always is off (it reverts to off on restart?).
• I have rebooted, tried different USB ports, and running GG as Admin makes no difference.

meanwhile the difference between hall effect keyboards and regular mechanic is night and day

playing with them vs playing on a regular mechanical keyboard is like 240hz vs 60hz monitor level of difference no joke

I know you dont work for steelseries, but the only way to get my keyboard to change colors is changing config profile, and effects doesn't work, it just stays static, you wouldn't have any idea to what this is?, red, green, blue works fine, the function key changes the color of the keys affected just fine. but no effects etc.

Clicked beta, toggle ON, fully disconected my apex pro, reconnected it back, went to engine screen, new firmware appeared, clicked there, and now I see this "Updating" popup for like 10+ min it doesn't move, I currently opened discord to say you this, what should I do next should I close the gg, or should I restart pc or?

Ok waited another 10+ min nothing happened, so I just closed GG, relaunched it and tried again, now it worked and it updated it.

the easiest way to tell is to look at the oLED screen. if it wraps around the back edge then it's an old model.

I believe you have turned on system monitor under apps.. You need to go to Engine -> apps and scroll to system monitor and slide the slider to off

experimental firmware in SOCD update causes lost/missing inputs when alternating at high speeds

not sure what exactly causes it, but I found it while playing osu (becomes noticable at 150+bpm, and unplayable at 220+bpm)

doing a consistent high alternation between A and D on a map resulted in 4-5 missed inputs per 100 total inputs while alternating at 151 BPM (tested this 10 times bc i thought i was just going crazy at first)

rapid trigger was set to .1 actuation with a .3 reset

outside of osu, there aren't any real scenarios I could think of aside from spam QTE's that may suffer from this, but I figured id leave a message about it somewhere

Hello , i have Arctis nova 7 wireless , ive bought them few months ago and today ive tried to open up my pc and use them (as i do every day since ive bought)
but i couldnt here any noise (music , game , etc) the only sound i was able to hear like weird engine sound and when i try to turn off the headset the green light would go off but the blue light(which i think is the bluetooth light) wont turn off ive also tried to disconnect the USB which gives me bluetooth options and plug it again to my pc but still its the same i hope if someone has a sulotion for it

Hey, really wish we had a classic version of steelseries engine... I miss when it was JUST for configuring your peripherals and not a bunch of useless bloatware that I already have better programs for. Sonar decided to install a bunch of audio devices randomly and fucked up my audio in a bunch of apps

"Multiple apps multiply the mess" no... I want my specific apps with specific functionality to do specific things, forcing feature releases on your userbase constantly is genuinely annoying as hell, at the very least give us the option to deny new features before automatically adding them, it's as simple as a pop up box saying "Hey, we have this new feature, would you like to try it?"

instead I find that Moments has been saving a bunch of high resolution clips for weeks and capping out my C drive memory
